Carcaptain are an excellent company. From my initial conversation with Jacqui in the office to meeting my instructor Bala. Jacqui advised on what package I should get and I got a real family feel for their business and how much they care about their customers, not like some of these big call centre type places I've had to deal with in the past.

Bala is a truly wonderful instructor. He is calm, always professional, friendly and supportive. I had no confidence at all when I met him and had been through many instructors in the past (around 6 instructors in 15 years!) and with just 20 hours with him I passed my test first time. I'm so glad I met him as I could not have done it without him.

I have just passed my test with Carcaptain. The whole experince with them was brilliant from the very beginning.

I was lucky enough to get Ahmed as my instructor who is an absolute legend! He has the coolest style and at the same time he literally teaches everything and even more...
His methods, tricks and tips were definitely the reasons why I managed to pass my test first attempt. He made learning and hard work fun, After a finished lesson I could not wait for the next one.

All in all, I can only recommend them as from the admin part, all the way to the test eveything was nothing short of perfect.

Carcaptain were excellent from start to finish. Agrun was a brilliant and patient instructor. He took time to explain the why of driving and his instructions were totally spot on at the exam. I passed with them first time and I am very pleased overall with the service and instruction.

Structured and informative, ensuring from booking test date till day of test, I had ever thing and skills I needed to easily pass my practical test.
My instructor Rana was excellent, always great in giving advices and very knowledgeable

Very poor/dangerous experience with Car Captain. Firstly, I was slightly shocked by how expensive the courses were but chose them anyway because I figured these are the usual London high prices. Upon meeting my instructor Daisy and getting in the drivers seat I was confused again by the price...not only was the inside of the car filthy (finger nail clippings, crumbs and trash everywhere) but Daisy was quiet and cold. Complete opposite of the warm, friendly welcome I was hoping for from someone I was about to spend a lot of time with.

My experience from then on only got worse:
- Daisy was constantly barking instructions and grabbing the wheel abruptly as if I were a child. (I'm 33 and have had over 17 years of driving experience in the US with zero accidents)
- She got extremely intense when practicing roundabouts and parking, giving me major anxiety when we had to do these manoeuvres.
- After failing my test for not checking my blind spot she leaned into the car while the test instructor was still standing there and berated me, making the whole situation so much worse.

The last straw was after that test as she drove me back to our meeting spot, a 20 minute drive, she was texting and driving the whole way...even on 40 mph roads! Everyone I tell this to says I should consider legal action but I stupidly didn't think to take any photos. Probably because I was so upset about the day.

Car Captain really needs to look into their instructors and the quality of the lessons. Definitely NOT worth the high price. Would not recommend to anyone. I've sent an official complaint to their head office but have not received an apology of any sort.

Bottom line: Don't waste £820 like I did.

I am very grateful to Carcaptain for sailing me through the driving tests successfully, with expertise and great emotional support. Susan in the office was like a mum to me, calming me down on the phone, during my often intense times of self-doubting and nervousness, especially on the day of my exams. I passed both my theory and practical exams first time, and I owe it to Carcaptain's great team of instructors and fantastic office staff, who seamlessly sort out all the paperwork and dates for you, and most importantly, support you and have faith in you, all the way. I highly recommend this company. Thank you Carcaptain!

Massive thank you to the Car Captain team for helping me pass my driving test!! Arranging the classes were super easy through Sue and Andri, who were very friendly and helpful. Ahmed was a wonderful instructor; I found his methods to be effective yet his presence calming, and I was so relieved to pass my test first round in London!! It was a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend the company to anyone learning to drive! Thanks again!

I have no driving experience whatsoever, however, thanks to Bala at Car Captain, I passed my test in under two weeks! I couldn't recommend him enough, a really nice guy and an excellent instructor!

I just passed my test with Carcaptain. Delighted with the service received. They were able to accommodate all my needs - an intensive course over 1 week at v short notice with a booking at the test centre at the end. The instructor, Nicesaer, was so good. Gave great instruction, was very patient and ultra easy to get along with. Can't recommend her enough. All the office staff, especially Susan, were very friendly, supportive and helpful. The whole process was straight forward and their communication was first class. Felt I was in very capable hands and well-looked after from start to end.

My instructor Mr Malluck was amazing, helped me prepare for my test in 2 weeks and I passed first time. For anyone that wants to pass quickly I would highly recommend using Car Captain and if you are in East London ask for Mr Malluck.

Excellent service from carcaptain, took care of everything from studying material to booking the Exams. They have an Ace no nonsense driving instructor in George, who really is a professional that knows what needs to done to get you on the right track to drive properly so you can pass your test.

What differentiates Car Captain from other driving courses is their customer service. Rather than be oversold loads of hours, I was recommended the 15 hour course based on my previous driving experience by Yolanda and passed first time. My instructor Ade was great, professional and personable and alway pushing to get the best out of me.

Through Car Captain I was able to pass first time in just around a month, truly amazing service and I would recommend them to anyone. My instructor, Bala, was absolutely amazing and the true key to my success.

I would just like to say a massive thank you to Carcapta their support and the speedy effort that they did to get my son his driving test and a pass it was worth every penny could not have got this test as quick has Yolanda from carcapta got I am so grateful your politeness your professionalism and your help I would recommend you to everyone.

I was very happy to deal with Carcaptain as they are very helpful in planning the perfect journey for you to learn driving with assuring that you enjoy the experience , i would also highly recommend my instructor daisy who was very patient and helpful, her way of teaching is also beneficial as she customizes her teaching methods according to your specific needs.

I needed to pass my driving test for work within about a month and managed to find Car Captain online. They quickly helped me find an instructor and booked my practical test within just a few days. My instructor John was very helpful and taught me so much in the lessons prior to the test; making my driving improve dramatically. I took my test on 18th January and managed to pass with only 4 minor faults.

I passed my first time within 3 weeks with Carcaptain, and I had the best instructor called Agron I wouldnt have been able to do it without him he is an amazing instructor. Thanks to Jacqui aswel who sorted out my Lessons, theory and practical. 100% would reccommend Carcaptain they are very proffesional and would highly recommend asking for Agron to be your instructor.
