We visited Capital Karts during a quiet…

We visited Capital Karts during a quiet period, which should have been a positive, but the experience was let down badly by poor staffing and customer service.
From arrival, staff showed no enthusiasm or guidance. We weren’t greeted, given directions, or properly briefed, and it was difficult to find staff for help or even to buy drinks. Communication throughout was poor and several staff members were abrupt and unfriendly.
While the karting itself was enjoyable, it felt poorly managed. During our session, my nephew was left stuck on the track for several minutes with no assistance as staff were talking elsewhere.
Most upsetting was how my 11-year-old nephew, who has autism, was treated. When he struggled to park his kart, a member of staff shouted at him and rolled their eyes instead of offering help. This was completely unacceptable.
After the session, there was no direction, no thanks, and no manager available when requested. The track has potential, but the lack of customer care and basic professionalism really lets this place down.

Capital karts barking

Booked last week 2 x £25 sessions for my son.

My car broke down and we weren't able to go.

Called, emailed, left voice messages.

No response back.

I got 1 email back but I responded and told them What happened and if we could please kindly reschedule......I didn't get a reply back.

My £50 is still sitting there and none had called, emailed back at all.

Poor quality of service which has become the norm for a lot of companies, with no moral obligations to care for customers.

It was here That I found my love of karting

I was invited to here for a supplier day-out as it were, corporate paid drinks and food, karting and steak.

The karting was great fun, so much so i came back year after year. the track changed, and multi-levels were added. Which is insanely fun dropping down the ramp and spirally up the other side.

I got so invested i got my own helmet, this is not to say those provided aren't up to par, not at all, instead it was that i wanted to stick a go-pro to it.

The staff are patient and helpful, regardless of the repetition of the safety briefing throughout the day, they always make sure that you know the rules and the track.

They are always carefully watching the track, and will flag any accident, and even stop the race, if someone is not well, or struggling to continue.

I will truly miss venturing here as often as i did, as i've now moved away from london.

but i would highly recommend visiting here, and wearing something light and "sporting" as you will sweat if you plan to win.

im nurturing my poor back because of…

im nurturing my poor back because of being hit several times on the circuit. The last rear-shunt has caused my back to be in pain. Even as i write, it is painful. Today celebrated my birthday with my daughters (yes same date). the problem here is when you mix up beginners (ie me and my daughter) with experienced drivers this is a recipe for a disaster. Constant shunts is not great, especially when these karts travel at high speeds and have perfect brakes on them. God knows how some of these drivers drive on real roads. I was impressed that my daughter got a handle of the karts better than me, i simply struggled as i had not done this for years and found my steering to be significantly stiff hence making manoeuvring difficult. My recommendation would be to have seperate novice sessions and restict the speed to 20mph. The guy who shunted me was travelling 40mph, hence not great for an old man like me. I guess for me this was the first and last time. For my daughter, well she was shunted a few times, but got the hang of things quickly. I would not recommend this for teens with no experience as you will be shunted by more experienced drivers.

when shunted second time, i decided to come off the track, i was in pain. I was told the driver who shunted me had been warned, but i was shunted many times. So apprears the experienced drivers dont really follow the rules and will shunt anyone who come in their way.
