Great customer service

I can tell about any company by their customer support. Usually, if everything works great you are lucky but when you encounter an issue this is where the problems begin. However, this is not about Canon. Responsive and prompt customer service. Sent my lens to repair and maintenance, and it was done in a week! They never forget about you and will answer any questions right away. Happy to chose Canon!!!

This is the worst printer I have ever…

This is the worst printer I have ever purchased. Stay away from MG3022. I've actually printed 2 pages successfully. The rest of the time it just randomly spits out blank pages. I've had for 4 months and each time I turn it on, I think maybe it was something I did. I re-read all the info- trouble shooting, website, owners manual. I can safely say at this point Cannon it's not me it's you.

Canon 700D

I've got a Canon EOS 700D and i'm extremely satisfied with it. Works perfectly and i never had any issues.

Very happy with my cameras,

Very happy with my cameras,

Proud owner of the canon 750D and the 550D, they work great excellent camera had no issues with it what so ever would totally recommend canon to any one that asks me to recommend a camera!

Good quality cameras and printers

Over the years, I have owned several Canon cameras and printers. The picture quality is good, and I've never experienced any problems with the products, so there is a good chance that i will buy a Canon again.

Don't touch canon cameras.

I have always been a big advocate of canon however my trusty 5d broke the other day.

When I I bought it it was top of the range a Pro level camera. I bought it based on its robustness.

Now admittedly some years later it has had a problem. I took it to a local camera shop who told me that the mirror coming loose was a common problem and would be sorted out quickly.

Canon have said that the 5d is no longer supported and will not touch it.

It is now a hunk of scrap metal and all the accessories I have for it are useless.

I certainly will never buy canon again.

The worst

I have a Pixma MG2950 and no matter what I do or how many times I try and set up, I'm unable to. Buying this printer has been the worst decision of my life as it does not work at all. I'm barely able to connect to it on my phone to print pictures and printing a document is like a dream. The website has barely any support and crashes all the time

Canon Printer

If you ever think you will move to another country dont buy Canon. Certainly NOT a global company. I purchased a MG2570S printer in Singapore, moved to the UK and discovered that Canon printers have region specific cartridges! Takes you back to the days of region specific DVD's.... Just trying to make it difficult for the consumer. Presumably they do this with all their products, not just printers.

Quality

I have 3 Canon DSLRs a 70D, the 6D and the 5DSR together with 7 lenses and the quality in my opinion is without compare.
The images sometimes leave me breathless as the capture has been so true.
What more could I add? Just that I will be looking to buy a further 2 lenses.

Disgraceful!

I bought a new Canon dslr for a round the world trip. After 4 months it wouldn't switch on. As I was in Asia I was told my warranty would not cover any repair. So I had to buy a new camera for the rest of the trip. Then I posted the Canon for repair when I returned to the Uk under the warranty. Canon then said the fault was down to me because of liquidity damage and I would have to pay £135 for the repair. I was always extremely careful with the camera but was told that they could only report their findings and the warranty was invalid. My husband is a lifelong Canon user and couldn't believe the way I was treated. My replacement camera was an Olympus, had a worldwide warranty and took much better pics than the Canon. So be warned of purchasing Canon to capture your dream trips abroad. Olympus all the way for me now!

Poor Customer Service

Canon is a disgrace

Regarding Canon power Shot 280 SX compact camera.
Amazone shows the many bad reports. Best Buy has removed it from the market, still Canon refuses to ackmowledge the serious problem?

I had the camera sent for a second time to the Canon repair service in US, to no avail. Canon simply refuses to acknowledge the battery/level detection problem. The camera continues to be very very poor in battery management. This is a serious design failure and Canon denies it.
This camera should never have been marketed.
Shame on Canon for not doing anything to compensate buyers. No compensation, no extra battery, refuse to get it replaced with another model, and refuses to let me have a driect dialog with competent R&D people. Only ignorant service and marketing people are dealing with this serious matter.
