I bought a few Vango pole stoppers for my walking poles. (Rubber ends). Even after having removed the metal spike, the new rubber lasted approximately 45minutes on ordinary paving. I think the Vango company is a joke. If the rest of their gear is as bad as this, spend a bit more and get something decent.

Supplied the wrong replacement part for…

Supplied the wrong replacement part for our tent. Wouldn't issue a refund or swap the part for the correct one. I checked with them that this was the correct part before buying as well. Poor service, uninterested when they get it wrong

Don´t buy.

Don´t buy.

Our last Airawning form Dometic lasted 15 years... Then we bought a Vango Riviero 330, for 3.400.- euro - it lasted 3 (weeks 2 x 1 1/2 week), the a seam broke and the air went out. No warrenty due to the tent being just two years. Wanted to buy a replacement airbeam. But they dont send outside the UK. - So it cant be fixed. No one sell it in the EU. Buyer be ware only for UK use !!!!

Great service,well done

I have a vango kalahari awning,in June 2024 i had a puncture while I was away in Tavistock Devon! I rang the AMG group in Glasgow who were very helpful.
Not only did I receive a new tube the next day, but free of charge.
This week it happened again (different tube).
Not only did they replace the tube but sent a couple of spares,next day to the campsite.
I’m very pleased with the service I have received and Highly recommend AMG group Glasgow.
This awning is 6years old!

My verso air tent bag split on the…

My verso air tent bag split on the second outing which I guess was partly due to the 30kg weight of the thing! Anyway got in touch with Vango and a no questions asked replacement was sent out which I very appreciated. Thanks for the service.

Refund Failure

I have ordered twice from this company, and both items arrived quickly and as described. I no longer needed one of the items but found I had to email to get information on how to return my item.

I followed the return instructions but heard nothing for a couple of weeks. I emailed to chase it but still nothing. A further week passed and when I emailed customer services I was asked to provide the tracking information.

I thought this was odd because I was not asked to send the item tracked or recorded. I was lucky that my courier provided details of the parcel's journey, which I provided, along with the email instructions proving that the item had been sent in the way I was advised to.

I was then asked to provide a POD from the courier. At this point I was becoming a bit frustrated as there was no way for me to get that information. I explained I was disappointed at having to jump through so many hoops. Not only had I sent the item back, I was out the cost of the item I'd paid upfront plus the cost of return postage.

The final resolve from the company came today: No item received, no refund. I can't tell you how disappointed I am. It's put me off using this company again which is such a shame since they have such a good range of replacements for camping. I feel that other customers should know how difficult it is to return items before they consider buying from this company and this is the reason for me leaving this review.

Superb customer service

I have found this company puts customer service as their priority. Knowledgeable and helpful with advice as well as super speedy delivery, they are a breath of fresh air in todays couldn't care less culture.

We had an issue with one airbeam that…

We had an issue with one airbeam that did not seal and retain the air pressure. We went to the company that we bought the awning from (Attwools of Whitminster) .. a new inner tube was ordered FOC ( still under warranty) which arrived after a few days ... all now fitted and working

Great service all round.

A big thank you to Karen and David who…

A big thank you to Karen and David who have sorted out the problem with the air beams on my awning.
New ones were dispatched first class and free of charge. Not only were there no quibbles about the replacements but the advice and guidance given was phenomenal!
If you want to see what good looks like regarding customer after sale care then look no further than Vango!
I would recommend their products to anyone!!!

Great service! Our air beam collapsed and I emailed the spares department for information about a replacement. They sent one out immediately, first class post. Can’t fault that.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend

I've ordered a couple sets of spare poles for my Vango tent now and although it can be a bit fiddly to find what you want on the website now and again, the speed of their service is great and there have been no hiccups at all. Obviously still got that family run ethos that counts for a lot.

Vango spares

Cannot speak for anyone else’s experience with Vango spares but this is my third time dealing with them in the past couple of years and the service was excellent as it has been on previous dealings, ordered my spare poles online due to the 50% off email thought might as well order complete poles as it worked out cheaper than buying a spares kit 3 days later they arrived in the post.

Hi I bought Vango kalari 420 2020 first…

Hi I bought Vango kalari 420 2020 first of all stitching started to come undone put up with that whilst on holiday put straps over the hole of the awning. Then I noticed the straps at bottom where disintegrating. And a hole in roof light disintegrated After holiday 6 months has passed over 50 emails they had awning back 3 times for inspection each time sent awning back no work done to it bare in mind I've had the annex up exactly same time. Vango turned around and said uv damage yet the annex is perfect. I pointed out the straps on the annex where Nylon as Nylon does not rot and the awning straps are not Nylon. This has been going on for 6 months they keep saying it's uv rays now blaming the rain I pointed out how come the canvas is perfect they couldn't answer that ether. I had another two of these Vango kalari the other two perfect they cannot answer that ether I blame the company that is making these awnings now and the company that's covering up for them I can prove all I've said in this report if proof be needed never been so humiliated.

Great repair service

Used these guys back in June for a repair to a badly mouse nibbled Vango driveaway airbeam awning. Really good communication before and all the way through, quoted for it via emailed photos of the damage and then turned the repair around super quickly once I sent it off to them. Price was the same as I got quoted from a few other places but with these guys I was getting it done by the original manufacturer. Repairs were well done and have been faultless through a couple of wet and windy outings since. Very pleased with the service!

Non existent telephone service

Good product, shame about the back up service - awful non existent! Have ordered a spare part for a caravan awning and tried phoning them to get a approx delivery date as hoping to use on weekend break before season is over. Rang over a dozen times with no answer, finally someone answered at 2.22pm unable to help i was asked to call back in 10 mins when manager would be back from lunch. have since called 9 times with no answer - hopeless!

Great service

I lost a part and got in touch with the spares and repairs people at Vango. I dealt with Anne, who was really helpful and sent me a spare part free of charge.

Absolutely awful company

Absolutely awful company. Customer support line straight to voicemail but no facility to leave a message. Emailed but no reply. Brand new airbeam bladder burst on first inflation - no customer service whatsoever. Strongly recommend buying from a different manufacturer

Fantastic customer service and back up

Seen the negative feedback and all i can say personnel experience is absolute mint, we had a burst vango beam supplied by them selves, we replaced it with the old one which had a makeshift repair, got in touch with them and they offered to bring a new one on to site for us to complete our queens jubilee weekend;; doesnt get much better service than that mind, would I buy again 100 per cent
