We stumbled over this place by accident and we were really glad we did. Just a great old school Danish classic lunch place with great portions at super reasonable prices.
We were greeted by a lady who had such a heart warming smile, I even had to compliment her on it. Such a rarity in most restaurants.
My wife had the classic rødspætter with reje and I had the pan fried liver, reliving something my mother would cook.
We were both amazed at both the portion size and the taste. The liver was super moist and succulent with a lovely gravy and onions and the fish was nice and fresh with masses of prawns.
All washed down by an IPA,on tap. Another rarity for a cafe like this.
The place was busy but the service was great and smiling and nothing was too much trouble.
Considering we rarely visit Peter Bangs Vej, it won't be the last!
