Cadogan Tate moves, stores, and installs the world's most valuable possessions — fine art, private collections, couture, and the contents of exceptional homes. Founded in London in 1977 with Christie's as our first client, we have spent five decades building the expertise, infrastructure, and discretion that collectors, interior designers, museums, auction houses, family offices, and private clients rely on when the stakes are highest. We operate from purpose-built facilities in 14 cities across the United States, the United Kingdom, and France, with 850 specialists including our industry-first Chief Art Technicians. Our services span climate-controlled storage, white-glove residential moving, museum-standard fine art transport, professional art and interiors installation, and dedicated yacht services — supported by global shuttle routes connecting major art and design markets. Every client engagement is underpinned by our Asset Protection Programme, which provides full value protection for items up to $100 million with no deductibles. Whether we are relocating a family across continents, installing a collection in a new home, or holding irreplaceable works in secure storage between exhibitions, we bring the same standard of care: precision, transparency, and a genuine understanding of what these objects mean to the people who own them. Everything, handled with care.

This company has had my piano in Storage for 2 years. I was initially quoted £260 to deliver it back to my new address when I the time would come. They took £60 from my account as a deposit for the future move and that it would be refunded when the delivery would happen. I had to query this as it just came out of my account without warning.
Anyways, 2 years down the line I want my piano delivered back to me and they are now QUOTING ME £1300 to deliver it (instead of £260), same I emailed and called several time to check there wasn't a mistake. No, indeed, they ramped up the cost of delivery with no explanation as to why the cost was so dear. I used my own couriers for delivery (they charged £300) but got charged by the company a fee for the privilege of collecting my piano. I emailed the manager to know everything I needed to know regarding the collection, so I could pass the info to my couriers. Unsurprisingly, she didn't do her job properly and the collection was really stressful, the couriers didn't know what gate to go to, Tracy wouldn't answer her phone etc.
Now I am chasing the money they owe me (inc that £60 deposit towards the delivery they never did) and GUESS WHAT, I'm still chasing. I'm so fed up with this useless company, but will not give up on what they owe me.
This was the second part of a complicated move. As with the first part, we were extremely impressed by the professionalism and care of the team. Moving furniture from a large house into a much smaller one presented seemingly insuperable problems, but the team overcame them all. We would highly Cadogan Tate.
Steve and his team were exceptional when helping us to move house. Our old place was not easily accessible, but they managed to get it sorted efficiently, and with minimal mess. Communication with Head Office was efficient, and from quote to completion, we've been immensely impressed with everything this company did for us.
A large house move can be a highly stressful experience. The Cadogan Tate team ensured from day one - the pre-pack service - through to completion of the move - that nothing was too much trouble, and that every problem was solvable. The Head Office team planning the move was excellent, responsive, proactive and available, and the packing team a joy to work with. As one of our neighbours said "I have never seen so many people work so hard and for so long". Our move could not have been easier; nothing was broken or damaged and everything done with a smile. I could not recommend the Cadogan Tate team more highly - they are worth every penny you spend with them.
Broke my outside wall, inside wall, TV, only paid for the outside wall. Late on the day, didn't get the right license for moving with the council, rude, patronising, ridiculous and frankly a sham. I hired a man with a van on the day to fill the gaps they left and he did a better job for a quarter of the price.
Cadogan Tate did a house move for me. They were very efficient, polite and careful with my stuff. I would definitely use them again.
A really great experience from start to finish. I was let down by my previous removal company in a two part move and Cadogan Tate went above and beyond to step in last minute. Nothing was too much trouble. Every single person both in the office and the move-team were so lovely, accommodating and efficient. Communication was so clear throughout especially from Imti and Tracy in the office. Tracy even arranged 2 follow up box collections for the empty packing materials, and once again each team picking them up were incredibly polite and accommodating. An excellent experience - can't recommend them highly enough. Many thanks to all at Cadogan Tate for making a very stressful time far more manageable.
Cadogan Tate operations team were always extremely helpful and informative when I had questions. The removal team on the delivery days were great. They worked very hard, were efficient and careful with the unpacking. Stephen, the person in charge, was excellent at directing his team and keeping an eye on all the pieces of the move. He and Jamie make a great leadership team. Thank you
We received an extremely efficient service yesterday - from store to my daughter and son-in laws house. Carol and his mate were very professional and could not have been more helpful and patient. They arrived on time and it was a very slick process.
Thank you so much and to Emanuela in the office too who is always very responsive and helpful. I couldn't recommend Cadogan Tate more highly. We have another move to go so am expecting the same slick service!
It's the second time I have used Cadogan Tate and again, they did not disappoint. The whole process from start to finish has been seamless, but that is what I have come to expect from Cadogan Tate. Great communication and follow-up. Incredibly efficient and professional staff and super fast turn-around of itemised list within 48 hours post-pick-up of almost 100 pieces! Excellent service!
To be of use for prospective customers, my feedback divides Cadogan Tate into three camps. 1. collection/delivery crew - cannot speak highly enough of the quality of the teams. In particular their leader Mark.
2. Warehouse operations - poor due to lack of care taken by an individual not following stowing instructions and damaged an antique piece of furniture.
3. Front office - one outstanding individual (Lucy) held it all together. The others were poor - lack of follow up and showing no interest. Errors with billing, lack of clarity in documents etc.
So in summary, a mixed bag with some strong points and room for improvement.
I had a wonderful experience with Cadogan Tate, who took great care in shipping over my items from storage, and were incredibly helpful organising everything. The team that delivered the items were also very helpful and patient, as was Sara who managed the shipping for me. I would highly recommend Cadogan Tate to anyone looking for a good shipping company.
Perfect in every way Have no criticism whatsoever Lovely guys efficient and smart

Amazing management, great team of movers. All my belongings were properly wrapped and unwrapped. The team was professional from start to finish.
At one point I was a bit worried in terms of the timing of the move, left a note and got called back in the half hour that followed my email.
I tried other removal companies before. Cadogan Tate is really the best there is on the market
My neighbours were moving out. The Cadogan Tate truck arrived. Spaces were reserved in residents parking and the crew were careful of the paving which was vaulted.
It was as it should be but living in a narrow one way Georgian Street in central London it is in fact rare to have this organised professional approach which is often/usually ignored.
We are grateful as residents.
First time dealing with Cadogan Tate. Super team of highly professional movers led by Patrick. Considerate and patient. Could not recommend them more.
We havent used Cadogan Tate due to the quotes service we received post the visit of their sales rep, After he came to see us we were minded to go with them.
Then thier initial quotes arrived which were incredibly difficult to decipher, were actually wrong in parts and omitted to put parking charges on. Their “options” are not really options at all as who would accept insurance of only £40 per item moved?! And their costs were much, much higher than their competitors as well.
When I called them up all the person i spoke to could say was that the quotes had been sent out in his absence as if that was some kind of excuse? He then said he would get back to me and then took 3 days to do so which does not really indicate this company really cares if it has our business or not.
We used Scotts last time and were very happy and so are very disappointed indeed that the initial service post the sales rep visit to our house has been so bad.
Their excellent service throughout - prompt arrival - careful handling and packaging - could not be more impressed and will recommend them any time.
We've used Cadogan Tate for over 20 years for shipping of art and antiques to our home in France, and when it was time to move everything to the UK, they were the natural choice. Every stage in the process couldn't have gone better. From the first phone call to the survey, and the two weeks of packing 5 containers of goods, I had full confidence that everyone I met knew exactly what they were doing and were highly professional.
All my dealings have been great with Cadogan Tate. First my move last year, which was very challening for them (2nd floor flat on a very hot day!) and everything went like clockwork. Recently I had to arrange a collection from my storage unit, and dealt with the very helpful and professional move manager, Leticia. A friend of mine had to collect their stuff from my storage unit (without me being there), and he said that honestly, everyone who was involved on the day, (the guys helped him with packing of his stuff) couldn't have been more helpful! In what could have been a bit of a nightmare of a process, once again, for Cadogan Take, everything went according to plan. I would not hesitate to recommend Cadogan Tate to anyone who would be looking for their services. Their customer care is second to none. Angela
