I Deposited 3410 euros from an account in my name to Bybit Fiat, it has been witheld since friday last week. I have submitted a bank statement alongside other details proving exactly where the money came from as proof of asset, yet up till today, my transfer hasn't been cleared, I have also submitted my international passport and EU resident permit. This is so frustrating. The worst part is i got a mail that the verification has finally been completed, but logged into my account and couldn't find the transfer credited. I had to engage a bybit support agent in a live chat and she says the status hasn't been updated and could be a technical error. People work hard for their money, you can't just withhold it for as long as you want and call it risk control. I'll never have to do a Fiat transaction with bybit ever again.
I had to chat them up again and all they say is my issue has been escalated to the team as top priority. Just give me my money or reverse it back to my account. Is that too much to ask?😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
Update: I finally got a refund today after several chats with support. I'm quite sure every Live support agent in the chat section knows my name.

Ridiculous customer service, Bybit card rewards blocked for no real reason and despite repeated requests, they refuse to give any reasons. They asked for documentation, which was provided, and still refused to process the request.
They only respond with pre-set messages without actually concluding or explaining anything.
Find someone more reliable to entrust your money and crypto to. It's a shame because I was a happy user of the bybit.com platform.
Bye bye bybit.eu.

complete idiots; big scam; do not keep any money there; you gonna regret;
1] find any excuse to steal my money, by some bullshit eu mirca or fack knows what regulations; then they see me deposit $80 and i went to spend about $50 in a coffee-shop;
2] now few hours later they arrested my remaining $30 by suspending my card; :}
these people are lunatics

Terrible experience. After registering, completing KYC, verifying my address, and ordering the card, I made my first deposit of 100 Euros and everything seemed to work fine. I made two more deposits of 100 Euros and continued using the platform and card. Until the Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) was triggered. No matter how much documentation I send (last 6 payslips, last 6 bank statements from the account where I receive my salary, even statements from other savings accounts and my tax return), nothing works and the process is rejected without any explanation. Contacting support is also useless because they say the matter is with the compliance department. On January 30, 2026, I sent an email to compliance and haven't received a response yet. Does anyone know how to resolve this?
Update 1: Personal details sent to bybit eu as requested. (04/02/2026)
Update 2: Can you please tell me what I have to submit? Because I have sent everything (payslips, bank extrats, tax return) and it failed every time.
Update 3: Re submited the same documents.
Update 4 (07/02/2026): EDD failed again without explanation.

Problem solved! Thank you! The money retuned to my account after the withdraw failed. My Fiat withdraw from 30.01.2026 is still processing. Bybit blocked my money i don't understand why. I withdraw excelent every time easy to acces and use. it is really frustrating for this to happen.

I am an EU user reviewing Bybit.eu due to its association with the global Bybit platform.
During multiple P2P transactions used to withdraw funds from crypto to a bank account, I encountered a repeated pattern where counterparties claimed “payment sent”, stalled until the dispute window expired, and then cancelled the order.
Bybit support confirmed in writing that if an order is cancelled before completion, no action is taken against the counterparty, even when misleading payment claims occurred.
This creates a real risk of losing money for users attempting to withdraw funds, as dishonest counterparties can repeatedly abuse the process without consequences and without impacting their statistics.
For EU users, this means there is no effective protection at the most critical stage — converting crypto into fiat and receiving funds in a bank account.
Based on this and my previous experience, as well as Bybit’s own explanations, I consider this platform as extremely unsafe and unregulated.
Regarding your comment - so how come that I, as an EU citizen, don't interact with ByBit EU? And who regulates ByBit International then?

Update 02.04.2026:
Bybit EU is now officially stalling. Despite my formal complaint DL-2026-04-CherRo filed with the Austrian Joint Conciliation Body, they continue to send the same copy-paste bot response (Case 24762725), admitting their emails were 'unclear' but refusing to pay the 16% difference. They are ignoring a documented mathematical error. I am now waiting for their legal office in Vienna (Bybit EU GmbH) to explain this to the regulators.
UPDATE 26 Feb: Bybit continues to lie. They promised an escalation 2 weeks ago, and today they gave me the EXACT same 'backend team' copy-paste reply. It has been 46 days since I reported the 16% cashback theft. Case 23786128 is a ghost case. They have no intention of paying back. I have officially moved forward with regulatory complaints. AVOID BYBIT CARD.
I am writing this to warn all EU Bybit Card users about a systematic discrepancy in their cashback system and their aggressive tactics to silence users who discover it.
The Issue: Bybit officially confirms cashback amounts in EUR via email and app estimates, but pays out the same numerical value in USDC. For example, an email confirmed ~30.80 EUR, but I only received 30.83 USDC (which is worth only ~26.50 EUR). This results in a systematic loss of 14-16% for the customer due to forced, hidden currency conversion.
The Support Experience: When I provided clear mathematical proof and transaction IDs (e.g., Order 2012689766412107776533451258) showing that their "informational" emails are legally misleading under EU Consumer Protection laws, Bybit chose to block my access to support instead of fixing the error or compensating the loss.
Conclusion:
Misleading financial communication (EUR vs USDC).
Failure to honor eligible MCCs (like Turkish Airlines MCC 3047, which is on their whitelist but paid at 2%).
Hostile customer service that blocks users who report technical bugs.
Stay away from this card if you expect transparency. I will be forwarding my documented evidence to CySEC and ECC.

I joined the referral program using a code my brother gave me to participate in the goal of trading $250.000 to receive a $100 airdrop. After completing all the goals, not breaking any of their rules, and waiting 10 days for the reward to be unlocked, they told me I couldn't receive it because I broke the rules. When I asked for clarification, they couldn't tell me what I'd done, except that I wouldn't get the reward. It's very easy to give vague answers and arbitrarily decide who gets the reward. This behavior borders on scamming.

Very disappointed with Bybit’s compliance and support process.
I opened an account and completed all verification steps within hours. I verified my passport, sent the €1 bank transfer successfully, uploaded proof of address, and even re uploaded a bank statement from the same bank when asked again. Despite this, my account was suddenly restricted and I was blocked from depositing euros or buying crypto.
I was then asked again for proof of address and source of funds, which I also provided. Since then, my account has been restricted with no progress since 6th January. My appeal is still showing as pending under appeal ID: 1a370a53-c601-456a-82a6-d7c1ff8b241e.
What makes this worse is the support experience. Live chat told me my ticket was overdue and would be resolved within 24 hours. It has now been over 7 days with no update, no explanation, and no resolution.
I have fully complied with every request, yet I am left unable to use my account with no clear timeline. This process feels unorganised and frustrating, especially for a platform that handles people’s money. I would not recommend Bybit based on this experience.

All the other reviews are right. NEVER put money on bybit. You'll lose your hair trying to get it back. You've had cash in banks for 60 years? Oh, well F you, we're holding your money hostage until you jump through our 9000 hoops. Get bent bybit. These morons deserve worse than bankruptcy. I hope those morons reply to my review. Dear valued customer, yada yada

Terrible experience. I deposited 1300 EUR fiat from my personal account. All of a sudden I noticed that they have frozen my funds for 24 hours due to a “compliance review”. This has never happened to me in the regular Bybit for amounts way bigger than this. I strongly recommend against using this platform. Waste of time with the customer support, took it a very long time to reply and didn’t help with anything in the end. Waste of time.

The cashback via the card is generously advertised, but not paid out. Allegedly, customers have violated the terms of use. However, no proof or reason can be provided, and customer support remains silent.
This borders on unfair competition against all other honest competitors on the market.
Stay away from this platform!

They have voided my 100 USDC airdrop bonus because of ALLEGED abnormal activities and they say their decision is final without giving the user no explanation or chance to appeal. How unfair has that to be??

Reply from Bybit EU
Just transferred $2000, because their promo on USDC said:
5 - 100% APR
When I click in to it, there are two cards:
First) 10 days - 2%
Second) 30 days - 3%
Turns out its 2% APR and 3% APR, very misleading.
My money are locked for the next 10 days, then they are going back to Binance again where I at least get around 6%

Very difficult to get your money back. Allthough they know my bank account and did a verified booking through iDEAL.it is not possible to get your money through iDEAL. Don’t do business with them.
After this complaint Bybit added my bank account to the sepa. A pity i had to make a complaint first.
Thank you

I'm trading crypto for around 10 years, the last
years mostly using bybit.nl after being forced by
EU regulations to leave Binance in 2023.
Bybit.nl worked always really well for me but again
forced by EU regulations I had to leave a good
working platform and made the transfer to bybit.eu.
I'm fully verified so all is ok you think but It was not.
I made a crypto deposit worth around $ 2500 which their system flagged. The system wanted me to verify my wallet.
When I tried to do it on their own website like they told me to do I constantly received an error message: We can't verify your wallet
This blockchain isn't supported for verification.
Please contact your provider to see what you can do next.
3 days after me reaching out I received a customer service message with some copy past answer for a totally different matter.
After 4 more days and after me reaching out multiple times on all possible ways I could think of they wanted me to record a video with my passport besides my face while I
logged in to my wallet at the same time.
At that time I was completely done with them and their "trading crypto new EU style methods" but I had to do it because of the stuck funds.
Lucky for me my video passed, it took me 9 days to receive a simple and pretty low value deposit in my account. The first thing what I wanted to do, after the funds arrived in
my account, was getting them of the exchange to the same, now verified, wallet.......
Flagged again and the same automatic message, within 5-7 days we'll get back with you, etc. etc.
Can I say all this is beyond ridiculous ?
Either way I will never ever use them again.
My most negative crypto experience ever, congratulations bybiteu.

Very messy and unlogical UI, you have to look up everything on Youtube to find even the most simple stuff.
Very sketchy platform, transactions take 6 hours to 7 days. "Verification-process" takes forever.
Fake advertisement of "Withdrawing Fiat", which you definetely cannot do, even if you can transfer funds into EUR, but you can never move the EUR to another place.
Once your money is on ByBit it's practically frozen. Totally useless and frustrating. It borders on a scam-site.

absolutely horrible. I tried to make a P2P transfer of a small amount (<1.000 Eur) which failed for some reason. After I tried to send my money back to exactly the same account it was coming from and they blocked my account for "suspicious transactions" and started a new KYC process.
Even if I provided all documents requested several times they have not been able to unblock my account even after 3 months. I uploaded my documents several times and they showed exactly what they asked for. Rejected for no reason.
Than I was reaching out to customer service, was asked to send the documents by email as this way the case will be handled manually and nothing happened. The only response I received was the request to upload them again.
Update: infos provided, let's see if something will happen.
Next edit: They split up the entities, before there was only a bybit.com entity, now I am forced to swap my account to bybit.eu as I am EU based. It is at the end exactly the same and a solution is still not there. After sending an official complaint to both entities the only response I received was that they asked me to resubmit my documents again via online form which I already did several times. Without any success.
Even when chatting with them their team does not know or understand that they are using payment providers for FIAT payments and that these payment providers are forcing customers to make payments to virtual IBANs that are in the customers name. They simply have no clue what they are doing and their response shows exactly that.

As fully KYC'd customer, on Nov 23rd I made a USDC deposit to my Bybit account from my (known to Bybit) custody wallet. Verified this transaction, as usual.
Swapped this to EUR and sent a FIAT withdrawal request, which previously did not deliver any problem at all. Until this time. In the case center this FIAT WITHDRAWAL triggered a risk alert, but for whatever reason this was flagged as a fiat DEPOSIT risk. Therefore I had to submit all kinds of documents again. Back account details, ID verification, selfies with written sentences, even pay slips. Again, this was for a fiat withdrawal, not for a fiat deposit which would have been logical by EU laws to require the origin of these funds. Probably a bug on the website. But as I urgently need this money and have no problem to verify I submitted everything, which should be reviewed within 48 hours. And here we are, 18 days and lots of emails later. Still nothing. Customer Service only gives standard replies, telling me to wait, marking a case as resolved and opening a new one, and lots of false promises.
I asked them to cancel this withdrawal request and unfreeze the amount so I could send this back to my wallet and find another way to get this paid out, but they are ignoring that request and are constantly telling me to wait and that the 'relevant team' is working on it.
This is completely unacceptable. Waiting for 18 days now, with no real help at all. Fix your website, but most importantly simply cancel my fiat withdrawal request and let me send back my USDC to my wallet and stop sending replies without actually reading all the detailed explanation I gave you.
I will update this review if anything changes.
UPDATE: one day after placing this review the withdrawal request was cancelled and I was able to swap back to USDC and withdraw this amount. Fiat withdrawal issue still not fixed, but at least I got my money back.
