It didn't work. Went through the proper process per website site for faulty goods. Made to feel it was my fault it was faulty. Took six weeks of constant calls. Even tried to say I sent back the wrong item. Finally got a refund.

My experience with (Buy It Direct) Laptops Direct was disappointing from start to finish. After placing a sizeable order, I was left completely in the dark about delivery. Updates were vague, customer service felt scripted, and getting a straight answer took far more effort than it should.When you’re spending over £3,000, you expect professionalism and clear communication neither of which I received. The whole process felt stressful and avoidable. In the end, 10 days after my original order, they couldn't fulfill it so I asked for a refund. I wouldn’t recommend them based on this experience and will not be using them again.

Terrible communication for two, no show, delivery dates
I purchased a BBQ on 28th June and received the following email; We like to keep you in the loop with important updates, so here's a note to say we've dispatched your order (57276557). It's due to be delivered on Tuesday 30th June 2026.
This did not arrive. At 5.53pm I received the following; Hello Anita,
I hope you are well.
Upon checking, the delivery has failed for this order.
Can you please confirm your preferred redelivery date so we can book it for you?

It never arrived, I received an email confirming the item would arrive between 08:00 and 12:04. I waited then began enquiries from 12.30pm which weren't answered until midnight!
When I responded with the details they requested as the couldn't find my order, they went silent again. I have now cancelled the order as the dates keep being pushed and there is little to no communication. There is a number you can call but it is at premium rate and I spent almost £5 on hold. Be very wary of this company.

Terrible customer service - avoid at all costs
Terrible customer service - avoid if you can.
My experience with this company was extremely disappointing. The customer service call centre is based in the Philippines. The staff I spoke to were polite, but unfortunately the service itself was very poor.
I had to request a callback three separate times, and none of those requests were honoured. It was only on my fourth attempt that I finally received a call from someone in an England-based contact centre. Communication throughout the process was slow, with significant delays in responses and updates.
Due to the ongoing lack of communication and poor customer service, I requested that my order be cancelled. Rather than calling me to discuss or resolve my concerns, a customer service representative named Rahem simply cancelled the order. When I later asked for the order to be reinstated, I was told this was not possible at the original agreed price and that it would now cost an additional £1,000.
Overall, the customer service was unacceptable. Callbacks took far too long, communication was poor, and there was little effort to resolve issues or retain my business. While the prices may initially seem competitive, the level of customer service simply does not justify the frustration. Avoid buyitdirect at all costs. Prices may look good but customer service is farcical.

LG Split AC unit missing parts
This is the second time I've purchased this same AC unit from this company. Last week I ordered directly from their website, but it arrived missing the outdoor unit side cover and the interconnecting power cable, so I had to return it. I assumed it was a one-off issue, but this unit has exactly the same missing parts. It cannot be installed as supplied. Very disappointed, and I've had no response from customer support so far.
Update : I have now received a partial refund to source the missing parts. Thank you

Easy and speedy

We had had a tumble dryer through the same system last year so we were expecting something similar. It was even better. We ordered the washer and included the full installation, removal of the old washer and taking away of the rubbish. It was available for delivery 3 days later just after the weekend. We had 2 confirmation emails in the meantime and the guys arrived at 8.30am on the day and were gone by 9.00am. Brilliant. Everything working and the washing hadn't even built up.
