Absolutely awful
Absolutely awful! Was bought a 2 night away voucher as a present . Spent 2 hours looking for a hotel - they are all v random, weird locations and couldn’t find anything!
We decided to book an experience instead- it was really hard to book, the voucher didn’t work and I had to call the experience provider to sort it!
The gift cost £198 - what a waste if money - don’t bother

Frustrating!!
In my opinion the BuyaGift website was very, very difficult to navigate. I had trouble when trying to use my voucher off a business and when I reached out to BuyaGift, the person 'helping' me told me that the company may have T's & C's that stopped the voucher purchase......but he didnt know what they were! So basically he didn't help at all! I told him that I would not be using BuyaGift OR the business either as their website was troublesome too! So in a nutshell, the booking process was difficult and Customer service was really poor. But, it's a Moonpig offshoot, so what do you expect?

Bought gift voucher for London…
Bought gift voucher for London steakhouse a year ago but went there on Monday. Had 5 course meal and drinks. Very small food portions indeed. But then got charged another £40 odd pounds ontop of the gift voucher amount. Ok we had bottle of water and side of potatoes and coffee. What a rip off. Got given burnt food. The service was kinda good. But really. Cover charge and then service charge. Awful. Let the customers tip you if they feel it’s worth it. Won’t be going back to that restaurant or using buyagift ever again. As they don’t tell you what these restaurants will charge you after you’ve had your meal. Welcome
To RIP off Britain. You make enough money form the meals anyway. Better off going to Nando’s for a meal. Seems everyone that goes here has a voucher.

Excellent customer service
I contacted Buyagift about an experience voucher that had unfortunately expired without being used. I completely understood that the voucher was outside their normal terms and that they weren't obliged to offer a refund or extension.
However, after I explained the circumstances, the customer service adviser, Tony, took the time to look into the situation again and went above and beyond their normal policy to find a solution. They offered to extend the voucher free of charge or, alternatively, exchange it for the full value as Buyagift credit, which was particularly helpful as it gives me the flexibility to choose an experience that will be more suitable.
I was genuinely impressed by how understanding and accommodating they were. Rather than simply saying that the voucher had expired and there was nothing they could do, they took the circumstances into consideration and found a very fair solution.
Excellent customer service and a really appreciated gesture of goodwill. Thank you, Buyagift!

Experience was cancelled by the partner company and I have twice contacted customer services to rebook or renew my voucher with no success. I’m told they are going to help and nothing happens.
