I was pretty sure I was scammed when I ordered English language Burda issues for a year in late September 2024. My Pay Pal account was debited almost immediately for $157 or so. I waited and waited and thought my subscription issues would start coming in 10 days but no. I live in California btw. So I contacted customer service and there was an email number and a phone number. I left a message still thinking I got scammed. It turns out the Burda account is handled by a US magazine distribution company. Today, October 30, 2024 I finally got my first issue of (physical) Burda magazine. I am so pleased. I just wish the communication was better.
Ich habe das Muster 5887 gekauft und heruntergeladen. Es hat nicht nur falsche Anweisungen, z. B. wie man den Kragen annäht, sondern die Sprache ist auch grammatisch inkorrekt und daher schwer zu verstehen. Weiterhin passen die einzelnen Teile nicht richtig aufeinander.
Burdastyle kümmert sich nicht darum, ob Sie Seiten ausdrucken und Ihre Druckfarbe für Inhalte verschwenden, die nicht ausgedruckt und ausgeschnitten werden müssen, wie z. B. Teil des Schnittmusters ist auf der selben Seite wie die Größentabelle.
Dies war mein zweites Schnittmuster von Burdastyle und die gleiche schlechte Erfahrung. Ich werde nie wieder Muster von Burdastyle kaufen.
Sewing patterns that signify incompetence.
I have bought and downloaded pattern 5887. Not only is the pattern full of wrong instructions, for example how you sew the collar, amongst other issues, but the languages, German and English, are equally incomprehensible and grammatically incorrect. In addition, parts of the pattern do not fit together.
Besides, the design of the printable pattern does not consider how to best arrange the pattern so that the user does not have to print pages that are unnecessary because the content is not part of the pattern. Burdastyle doesn't care if you print out pages and waste your printing ink for content that does not need to be printed and cut out, for example the sizing table.
This was my second pattern from Burdastyle and the same bad experience. I will never again buy Burdastyle patterns.
