Bosch does not re-install appliances after fixing them

Note that Bosch engineers will not re-install appliances after fixing them or un-install appliances in order to investigate them (if it is "difficult" to do so). It is "not their job". It is the customer's responsibility to un-install and subsequently re-install appliances. The engineer advised that they frequently charge for call-outs and then leave without doing anything, because the customer needs to arrange for the appliance to be taken out first. Instead, book a service provider that takes out/re-installs appliances before and after fixing them...

Called Bosch to book an engineer for re-installation of a washer-dryer. However, Bosch engineers do not provide installation services. I have now had to pay a second time for another service provider to re-install the appliance. On the basis that the Bosch engineer looked at an ancillary minor issue when he was there, Bosch have refused to refund me. Bosch customer services should not be booking (and charging for) appointments for services they do not provide.

Not fit for purpose

Poor technical performance and poor service with faulty new dishwasher. Three engineer visits, two last minute cancellations, 3 months to sort it. Spare part ordered then decided to replace DW. Not sure if they even understood what the issue was. Service MO is extremely customer 'unfriendly'. Appointment time slot only issued mid evening the day before - too late to plan anything. Customer services even called at 8am on a Saturday to arrange an appointment.

Bosch Service complaint

It took over two months to repair my microwave and oven. Appointments were repeatedly scheduled with no one turning up, or cancelled and rebooked on the day.

Given the amount I paid and the level of service received, this experience has been completely unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to think carefully before purchasing products from Bosch, as it has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience.

Terrible servcie

I bought a 30" Bosch built in all refrigerator. Less than 5 years later I have a sealed system leaking refrigerant. I asked repeatedly for a repair quote butBSH Home Appliances group could not provide one because they don't have techs in Ottawa. Why sell a product in areas that are not serviced? I have to try to find a local service now. I will NEVER buy a Bosch appliance again.

I ordered new kitchen appliances for…

I ordered new kitchen appliances for our new kitchen. At the time it was not practical to check the condition of items due to building works, as the boxes were not damaged I assumed everything would be ok. When I unpacked the hob and got our fitter to install it, it was noticed the whole appliance was badly warped and would not sit flush. I contacted BSH they basically said as you didn't check within the 40 day period, hard luck, that's on you or words meaning the equivalent. It doesn't look like they take any notice of reviews otherwise their rating would surely be higher.

The engineers are rushed and slapdash…

The engineers are rushed and slapdash and the delays are indefinite. The first visit by an engineer was in the beginning of January. He was in a great hurry and misdiagnosed the problem, which was a leak from the water dispenser in the freezer. After two weeks, he returned with a part, which did not fix the problem and had to order another part, which took two more weeks to arrive. In the mean time he failed to put the freezer back to together properly, and I had to repeatedly adjust a cable to ensure the door closed properly. When the correct part came, two engineers came, replaced the part, but diagnosed five other parts that needed to be replaced. This diagnosis may or may not be valid. They also failed to put the freezer back together properly, and I had to manoeuvre the vents at the bottom of the freezer back into position myself. When I rang to find out when the fourth visit would take place I was told it would be another month before the parts arrived from Germany. I do not even know if these parts are necessary, as they do not relate to the fault that I reported. Do not purchase a Siemens under any circumstances if you expect to keep it for a long time and anticipate needing repairs.

Disappointing service

Built in Neff oven/microwave stopped working. Charged us £119 for a call out when from information we had already provided they would have known what the problem was and that they no longer held spare parts for this particular model.
They offered us a discount if we ordered a replacement model from them. There would be a £20 charge to deliver the replacement for and a £20 charge to take the old one away . However they would not uninstall the old oven or install the replacement “because it was a microwave.” We have decided to forego the discount and buy the replacement from a local trusted Neff supplier who will complete the whole job.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. I have a washing machine which is broken after 14 months. It has a 5 year warranty. I’ve had no machine for 3 weeks yet apparently the parts are out of stock. Disgusting company. Machine is useless just like the company itself

Why can’t all companies be like this?

This is what good looks like.A couple of weeks ago our washing machine started leaving scrapings of plastic all over the washing. The machine is insured through Domestic and General who sent in BSH to inspect it. Engineer, Graham arrived at the appointed time and identified that a new drum assembly would be required (£650). We thought it would be a write off but D&G agreed to repair it! Parts were ordered and today was the day for Graham to come and fit the parts. Graham arrived slightly delayed due to an unforeseen traffic jam and completed in the work in the estimated time. His communication at all times was superb. He was always smartly dressed and in doing the work was conscious of the environment around him. Left no mess, you would hardly was known he had been here. Gave us some advice on caring for the machine and recommended a product to use. Wow, what a great experience! Great eco example that machines can be repaired!

First contacted them to report an issue…

First contacted them to report an issue with induction cooker. Engineer visited who took 2 mins to tell me the repair would be over £350 after I'd paid £109 for the call out. I opted to buy a new unit at a total cost of £750 which included £20.00 to deliver the new unit and a further £135 to install the new unit. The day arrived an engineer came and after 5 mins decided he was NOT going to install it. I called for the refund of £135, but they won't refund it saying I'd agreed that it was my fault if they couldn't install it. Its absolutely disgraceful and blatant scam to extort more money from their customers. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY the same products are also cheaper elsewhere, then use an independent electrician to install it.

Bad install

Product itself seems reasonable, only had a few weeks. Issue is with the installation service. It is with a third party 'product care group' who did not take consideration of my home and cracked a pipe which led to flooding in my kitchen

Charged installation cost without the…

Charged installation cost without the actual installation due to electrical constraint, contacted customer service and replied no refund would be offered even the delivery partner also advised me to request refund when they pulled the washing machine out and found that it was hard wired that they could do nothing on the installation.

On hold for ages only to be cut off, TWICE!!!

An engineer visited after 4 days of fridge freezer alarm sounding, then within a couple of hours the same alarm started up again. Soonest appointment online was 7 days away, so another 7 days of constant beeping! So I tried phoning. After 20 minutes was cut off. Phoned back, after 25 minutes I get "sorry we are unable to take your call, goodbye".

Dishonest, misleading liars. Avoid at all cost.

Please be aware of this companies underhanded tactics. I bought a new door, which when delivered was used and battered. The box had previously been opened and repackaged without protection. I immediately informed BSH of the problem and requested a replacement\exchange. I was asked to provide photos, which I duly did. 1 week later after many calls and excuses, I was told that an engineering visit was required (for 2 screws) to fit the door @at an additonal £119.00 and that this was not negotiable. I duly refused and was told that there were no alternative options. I have this morning recieved an email stating that BSH are going to POST a returns label at some point in the future. Please don't trust this company with your money if you have a problem, you will be lied to and ultimately ripped off!!!

Complete and utter disaster

I purchased 5 items with this company at a significant cost to myself.

Neff N70 80cm Venting Induction Hob - MISSED
Neff N50 Undercounter Fridge - DENTED
Neff N70 Wine Cooler - SMASHED
Neff N70 Single Oven - FINE
Neff N50 Dishwasher - FINE

I'm aware Product Care Group deliver on behalf of BSH Global but that doesn't mean BSH isn't absolved of overall responsibility. I have also left them an equally negative review.

The issues I have had with BSH are similar to Product Care Group. Every time I rang it was a different person answering needing to be explained the issue. Long waiting between responses and having to chase myself. Being stuck between 2 equally frustrating companies. Today after phoning all week, the smashed wine cooler was inexplicably left off the replacement order due to a "system error". This has delayed me getting the delivery organised in time for 5PM close on a Friday, which likely results in my kitchen fitment being postponed until December. It's been far too many errors now for me to forgive this, hence the negative review.

I did get the impression that the issues have come from Product Care Group more than BSH and I do feel like the staff I spoke to seemed responsive and made assurances, but the fact is it has been a total disaster from start and (yet to) finish.

I have been as patient and polite as possible but I've now reached my limit and I've made an account on here just to leave this review. Saying I'm sorry 20 times in a row over the phone and giving me some chuck away cleaning products when I have spent in the mid £X,XXX's is not good enough.

I am not surprised to see the overwhelming negative reviews on here. I purchased through a work benefits scheme so received a very good discount - but I still feel like I have overpaid. If I paid full price I would be having an aneurysm.

My advice to potential customers - steer clear unless you have a months lead time and can store appliances whilst waiting for one of many likely mistakes being fixed and never pay full price.

SYSTEM DOWN, GOOD LUCK

After 2 months without a fridge, I was finally approved for a replacement (still had to pay a prorated price and cover installation). Since the payment was made, their system unfortunately is going through an upgrade and they can't make any shipments. Now at 3 months with no fridge and they just told me to call back next week to see if there are any changes. I would just like to get the fridge and no one seems to be able to assist. Hopeful this gets resolved before the end of the year.

BSH have let us down again!!!

BSH have let me down again. I posted a review about our terrible experience on 12th September 2025 when a technician was to call out to repair our washing machine, but he never turned up.He simply posted that the job had been completed and never arrived. We have since bought a new Bosch washing machine which stopped working after the first time we used it. I booked a technician to repair it on October 8th, but got a phone call from BSH that afternoon saying the technician had phoned in sick. They wanted to rebook the following week. We travel for work and cannot chop and change every appointment. At this stage, we've been without a working washing machine for over 6 weeks! BSH are utterly unreliable with a team of technicians who clearly do not value their jobs. Avoid contracts with BSH if possible. I will certainly be reporting all this to John Lewis where we bought the new machine. I never want to deal with BSH again.

Customer Service and Technical Team - Not Knowledgeable!

Dear Customer Service / BSH Support Team,
We purchased a Neff oven (model N50) on 26/09/2025 and paid an additional fee for next-day delivery. Upon arrival, we found that no power cable was included with the appliance, despite the manufacturer’s manual indicating that one should be supplied.
As these power cables are specific to the appliance in this case, the Neff N50 we contacted BSH customer service. We were advised that a power cable would be sent out. The first cable arrived on 30/09/2025 but turned out to be incorrect, as it did not match the 16A socket on the back of the oven.
After raising the issue again and providing clear photographic evidence including images of the power socket and the product label via email to your MKS address, we were sent the same incorrect cable a second time.
We are now in our third round of communication with your customer service team and are still waiting for the correct cable to be delivered. It has now been over a week since the oven was delivered, and we are unable to use it.
This has been a frustrating experience, especially considering the appliance cost nearly £1,000. We expected better support and service from a brand of this calibre.
Please treat this matter with urgency and ensure the correct power cable for the Neff N50 oven (compatible with the 16A socket) is dispatched without further delay.

Thermador does not honor manufacturer defects!

I purchased their Thermador range in November 2019. By January of 2020 the bottom of the range began to pit and peel. Customer service kept telling me it was rust and not covered under warranty without even looking at the damage! This year I contacted them again, ( been doing over the years) to resolve this matter and to send someone out to see that it is in fact a manufacturer defect. They sent Mr Appliance in March. Didn’t hear back and followed up in June and July. Both times they said they will accelerate the case. Still didn’t hear back. Called today and Thermador wants a more recent assessment even though Mr Appliance’s came out in March. So, now I am waiting to have Mr Appliance to come out again to assess
Even though this was done in March with pics. I haven’t used the range for fear of any chemicals coming off of the damage. According to California Civil Code under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, products sold in California must meet the standards of the implied warranty of merchantability, meaning they must be fit for ordinary purposes and last a reasonable period of time. This has not happened with my range and Thermador has been very difficult to deal with. They should replace the range. What is my recourse ?
