No Refund for THEIR ERROR!
I ordered a pair of Moda in Pelle trainers in store at Browns of York. Since they didn’t have the colour I wanted Ash who works for Moda in Pelle took my address and payment for the trainers, assuring me they’d be sent to my home address within 7 days. Since I still hadn’t received the trainers almost 2 weeks later I contacted Browns of York. When Ash who works for Moda in Pelle made enquiries he discovered they’d sent the trainers to number 28 instead of 58 (as confirmed by Evri who had photographed the parcel being handed to the person at No 28).When I went along to the person at No 28 they told me they’d returned the trainers! Despite it being Moda in Pelle’s mistake - instead of issuing me a refund, they sent me a form by email which I have to either write out by hand or take somewhere to be printed out before singing it, and then send it back to them prior to them deciding to refund me for trainers I’ve paid for which THEY SENT OUT TO THE WRONG ADDRESS! Why should this be necessary when Evri photographed the parcel being handed to the person at 28 (who claim to have returned it), and WHY haven’t Moda in Pelle at Browns of York emailed me a form which can be signed electronically? NEVER again will I order anything to be posted out to me from Browns of York/ Moda in Pelle!
