Having spent a considerable time researching made to measure curtains online, I can’t see why any buyer would go anywhere other than British Made Interiors. We have now furnished our entire house with their curtains.
First, the website is so much better than any of the others and I include John Lewis in that. The choice of fabrics, the measure/order facility, and the personal account page all streets ahead of the competition. We got so frustrated with the ‘home visit’ model and those with a confusing measure/order layout. We just wanted a wide choice of fabrics, a simple yet precise measure/order system and a well made product.
I have received loyalty discounts and the free cushions. Our curtains are beautifully made with double pleat headings and are always bang on measurements. Finally and importantly I find their prices to be unbeatable. This last order was a Sanderson’s fabric and worked out considerably cheaper than John Lewis, Hilary’s etc.

I have used BMI a number of times. I also, like a previous reviewer, selected the no rush option. However, my experience was all together different. I called to discuss with Anna and the team, as the blinds I wanted to order sat side by side on a French door and quite slender, but long, so could be made from one length of fabric, and patterned matched. This minimised waste and made it much more cost effective than the online price. They did their calculations and came back to me with the cost, and I also ordered another blind in the same fabric, which was added without quibble to the order, and costed.
I tracked progress on line, and called to follow it up just once. The blinds were in Quality control and nearing dispatch.
They arrived by courier a few days later, well packaged and with a free cushion.
I hung them myself, a little adjustment to the strings when settled and they are perfect. I am very happy.
The customer service was great, and I would have no qualms about using this company.

Just had some curtains from British Made and they are great, the free cushion is a nice add on and all in all very happy.

This is the third time we have purchased curtains from this excellent company and would highly recommend them. Starting from the large choice of fabrics to the high quality of workmanship and great communication. They have nailed it.

After looking at a number of companies for our curtains, we decided on 'British Made Interiors'. initially because of the 'positive' reviews they had. However, our mind was made up following our enquiries (via email), with Anna, who addressed any enquiries we had and always responded quickly. We now have the curtains, and we are very pleased with the quality. We have no hesitation in recommending 'British Made Interiors' and a special thanks to Anna.

I decided to go with the company as initially the service I received before purchase was quite helpful and local - the issue arose when I received the curtains the pattern didn’t match
I was requested to send pics which I did immediately I then had to chase to ask for update and was requested to forward more pics of the header which I did - 3 days later I called again asking for update (have to say Anna who took my calls was very helpful) I was advised the photos were with managers and I would here back on the following Monday - (I also asked when I hadn’t recieved my free cushion) - Monday arrived at 4.50pm I decided to call to ask as the company closed at 5pm -Chris answered I asked to speak to Anna he refused advising she was on another call and would not be taking my call, his manner and tone was totally uncalled for - at this point he advised that I needed to contact via e mail only as I had raised a complaint - the call ended - Chris did call me back advising there was a pending e mail advising the curtains could be returned 🤷🏻‍♀️-the return took over a week to organise - I called again to follow up on the missing cushion again I got Chris I asked for Anna refused advised again that I had to communicate via e mail only and that I was too demanding, continually talking over me - I only wanted to ask about the cushion and its size - I was advised I was not entitled to a cushion for 2 reason neither of which applied to my order - Chris’s attitude was not acceptable - i did e mail the company outlining my issues and noting that at no point had anyone apologised for the error - Anna did send a general apology - all communication with Anna was very respectful and helpful
I did receive my cushion and the curtains were made right - however due to Chris attitude and response to my calls I wouldn’t use this company again - very disappointing when I went out of my way to use a local company

Ordered 2 cushions to be made they are beautiful, so pleased with the quality. After ordering I had a question and Anna from their team replied and was beyond helpful - it’s not often you contact somewhere and someone actually answers your question in a way that isn’t copy and paste responses so really appreciated that.

I ordered curtains cushion covers and a length of material from British Made Interiors and I am beyond thrilled. The service offered, especially from a young lady called Anna, was second to non. The curtains are lovely, so well, made exactly the right size and look brilliant. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company and I will certainly use them again.

We had some curtains made by British Made Interiors for our last house - they were absolutely beautiful and we wanted to reuse them in our new house. British Made Interiors reconfigured our curtains into 4 bespoke blinds for our new house and they are absolutely stunning! The customer service is second to none, communicating with one lady called Anna and it felt like a very personal service and we knew that all the finer details had been recorded and our new blinds would be perfect. The quality and attention to detail is excellent, the customer service is excellent to and we would highly recommend British Made Interiors - one of the best curtain and blind companies. Thank you Anna and team for an excellent service - we are very happy with our new blinds.

We recently renovated our cottage and we wanted to get some made-to-measure curtains to fit our porch window. The problem was that the shape is a bit unique, so I had no clue how to properly measure in order to get the right curtain size. I called a few other companies before calling BritishMadeInteriors to ask for their help and BMI was the only one that went above and beyond to help me! The guy I spoke with, Chris, even offered to go on a video call with me in order to make sure everything was measured correctly. After all was done and ordered, we received our order and it fit perfectly!

I really can't recommend them enough. The quality is great and their support is even greater!

Can't thank this company enough the customer service was second to none I might be slightly old fashioned but was such a comfort being able to pick up the phone and speak to someone and have all my questions answered and the workmanship was amazing so pleased with my new curtains totally transformed my living room looking forward to working with this company again.

Third time unlucky for me! This was my 3rd order from this company and I have always previously been delighted with the products. This time I spent several weeks waiting for fabric samples whilst trying to match my wallpaper. When the blinds finally arrived one of them was not properly connected / strung and so I thought it was faulty. After a couple of discussions with customer service I was told this was a “safety feature” and they insisted that I’d done something to disconnect it myself. After an hour of fiddling around and watching YouTube videos I finally managed to get it back in place. By this time I had resolved the problem the person I had paid to come to install it had left and I was therefore unable to put it back up myself. I’d specifically paid for an express service as I was short of time and this therefore a waste of £70 extra charges. After paying the installer to come back a second time I finally managed to get the blinds up at the window. Unfortunately after all this hassle the blinds are just about ok - the finish is quite poor & they do not fold up properly. Customer service has informed me that this is due to the combination of a lightweight fabric & lining - incredibly irritating to be told this after the blinds have been made! I would have expected that an “expert” supplier might have advised this in advance! So all in all, having been a huge fan of this company I am now not sure I would buy here again or recommend them to friends. This has been a costly and frustrating mistake - it was £960 in total for my two ugly blinds, a bed runner & 2 cushions

Fantastically helpful and personal customer service from Anna when ordering curtains for one of our bedrooms.
British Made Interiors went above and beyond in delivering the rail pleated curtains with hooks already installed which made hanging them so easy. They look beautiful and are perfectly blackened out.

Went for custom made curtains as we have been struggling with having to use blackout blinds for our room - amazing quality.

Finally bit the bullet and went for heavyweight thermal and blackout curtains in linen.

Going the route we did for a bay window is certainly not cheap but at the end of the day we needed the quality and size of material to do a proper job for us.
The quality of the curtains and the best I’ve seen and exceeded my expectations even for the price tag which was competitive with others out there - we opted for British made interior on the basis it was made and shipped from the UK as opposed to many others which ship for china with varying qualities for still considerable prices.

Absolutely delighted and really would recommend these fantastic curtains.

I'm so pleased with the service I have received from British made Interiors, the curtains/cushions arrived on time and were very well packaged.
I must admit I was dubious about ordering my curtains and matching cushions on line, but after speaking to them on the phone, they reassured me and were very helpful. I had already seen the material locally and the cost quoted was more than I wanted to pay, by placing my order for 2 sets of full length curtains and 4 cushions with British made Interiors, I have saved over £500, so I'm one very Happy customer who would highly
recommend them.

Had two pairs of made to measure lined curtains made. Delighted with the finished product. Would highly recommend British Made Interiors. A good company to deal with from start to finish, competitive pricing and good communication. They even added an extra matching cushion to my order.
