Superb customer care continues beyond…

Superb customer care continues beyond initial purchase!
Honda brand manager, David Bell, couldn’t have been more helpful when I returned with various minor problems that were either sorted “on the spot”, or fixes organised for my forthcoming 1st.service! RECOMMENDED!

Poor customer service and non-return of deposit

Really sad to be giving a poor review. Finally made my mind up I wanted a Tracer 9GT. Wanted in white but Bransons only had one in Black. Told it was pre-registered but basically new. Decided to go ahead and put £500 deposit. Yes I was told non-refundable, but was not highlighted that it was pre-register nearly a year ago or that this meant it had less warranty and breakdown cover. Being told basically new bike is not really true as it was basically a second hand bike even if still not PDI.ed
When we got home and realised I was so upset, my wife contacted the following morning and we decided to cancel. Less than 24 hours later and the bike would have still been in showroom but no return of deposit.
There are some great dealers out there, Bransons is not one of them. Most other dealers ask for less and give a return for deposit in this situation.
Have now purchased a new Tracer 9GT in white over the phone from Sycamore Motorcycles in Oakham. Service is outstanding and customer focused.

Well done Bransons

Wanted a scooter to accompany my motorhome, visited Bransons and the was greeted by the branch manager David Bell.
Very helpful, knowledgeable a pleasure to deal with. No pressure, lots of great suggestions, came away with a 2 year Honda Foraz 350 at a great price, best on the internet and on my doorstep.

Very, very happy with my purchase. Have visited the shop recently and was greeted with a warm welcome.

Will definitely be buying my next bike from David.
We’ll done Bransons

Bransons Customer service ????

So I brought a secondhand motorcycle from them, having initially purchased via an on line/ telephone conversation everything seemed to be fine. I then drove the 128 miles to see the bike to make sure it was as described. It looked clean and tidy in the showroom although it was a little dark in the back section.
I paid the deposit over the phone and asked for a delivery date , I wanted the bike to be MOTd and serviced. They said it didn’t need a service but they MOTd it . I chased for delivery date and all I kept getting was ‘ we so busy in the workshop etc etc’ well as a new customer that was the first of a few issues where customer service went south. Anyway they finally agreed a delivery date and they said they would call to advise a ETA, that didn’t happen, but when they turned up I just happened to be outside.
On inspection the bike was covered on mud and grit on the mudguard, the down pipes and the hugger. Not impressed but the workshop was busy with other customers to worry about that.
I the took it to a proper work shop and lo and behold the oil filter was loose, finger tight, the throttle didn’t return to the proper stop and tyre pressures were below the normal pressures. At a cost of £180 I now have a bike that is as it should have been when it was delivered. Luckily the filter had been picked up otherwise it could have been a disaster, same for the throttle. When a so called motorcycle dealer keeps coming up with excuses for why they didn’t call back or didn’t service the bike or carry out a safety check then be concerned. £7400 doesn’t buy you professional services it seems.
Another observation, a young lad picking up a cb125 asked about L plates and was greeted with do you have a drill ? You can put the solid plate on the back and wrap the adhesive plate on the bikini fairing, he was planing to ride home, why couldn’t that have done that for the lad?
We were in the market for a Honda, but this service and negative customer attitude sent us elsewhere, where ordered the Honda and was delivered with a full tank and ready to go within a week. you pay your money for service and support not excuses and poor customer service. Your Money Your Choice just be aware of what you might be letting yourself in for.

Where do I start? experts!

Where do I start with these experts!

As a new rider I was unsure and in other locations told I could not test ride. Walked into the showroom here to be greeted by Pete! Who was straight talking down to earth and extremely helpful.

He found me the bike. I was hesitant so he let me test ride a smaller engine and then a bigger engine. He was right and didn't try to push me into a sale. He then made sure the bike was ready for me at my convenience! I can tell you I will be going back for another one here in the future!

What a team of great people that know what they are talking about but also make a good cup of tea.

Disappointing Experience

My wife booked me a three hour "CBT-Extra" taster session as a birthday gift, my having never ridden a motorcycle before.

The instructor was friendly enough but too obsessed with Star Wars and cracking jokes for my taste (if he wants to joke around then perhaps try a stand-up comedy club?).

The session got off to a good start. However, during the second hour the instructor was throwing too much at me all at once, whereas he should have slowed down and given me chance to absorb everything at my own pace. I became overwhelmed and everything went to pot. That spoiled my enjoyment.

During the entire three hours I didn’t even get out of first gear and only went around the pad one way, which my wife thought was ridiculous (she’s an experienced rider). Overall I was very disappointed and I wouldn’t recommend the taster session.

Fantastic team , fantastic professional service

I booked up my cbt/ das training with bransons . The staff I have dealt with have been helpful and very welcoming . 10/10. Training wise , there’s nothing that could have been improved I’ve been given all necessary info in manageable portions , felt very relaxed throughout the whole experience. Honestly top notch . If you’re considering taking any training whatsoever I highly recommend them , my instructor (Adam) made me feel at ease and turned what could off been a stressful experience into an informative relaxed one . Explained all the information I needed in a way that felt personally tailored to suit me .Really , really happy with the professional service received . So a huge thank you again to the team . 11/10

Thanks Peter English - first class service

Purchased a Honda Vision 110 and dealt with Peter English who was very patient, helpful and professional.
Good old fashioned "proper service".
Thanks Peter and worth the 160 mile round trip to buy from Bransons when, ironically there is a Honda dealer on my doorstep!!

New Tyres

Needed a pair of tyres for my bike. Bransons was recommended to me by two friends who have used them for years. I was shocked by how much tyre prices had increased but I booked the bike in. On the day, I rode there and left the bike for a couple of hours. They fitted the new tyres and also advised me about an issue with my rear wheel. The guys I dealt with were all professional and polite. The mechanic explained the issue with my rear wheel upon collection and I was shown photos of the issue (corrosion inside the wheel). Bransons are not local to me but I do not trust my local dealerships. I will use them in future. Thanks for looking after me and my bike Bransons.

Probably the worst customer service iv…

Probably the worst customer service iv ever experienced . The person I encountered was extremely rude and didnt want me in the store at all. All it was miss communication iv told him i found a Helmet on the website meaning theirs Bransons motorcycles, and i would like to try them. *He laughed in my face and told me so all you want to do is try them in the store to see if they fit you. You might aswell leave the store* completely rude for no reason at all im never going to go in that store ever again. Halfords seems to be the better option

The man thats was completely rude to me was around 5.9 tall up to proportion past his 50s quite red face short grey hair. He also refused to give me his name and did not wear a name badge so unprofessional to the company to allow this.

Very disappointed with Bransons

Very disappointed with Bransons
Motorcycles Yeovil.
Very good at selling , but that is where any good service ends should you have a problem ,
Purchased a new Yamaha YS125
15 months ago came with a Two year warranty .i have a orange engine warning light come on and stay on .
Bransons of Yeovil will not reply to any contact I have made regarding this .
The warranty states if you have a problem, contact the dealership you purchased the bike from, as Bransons motorcycles of Yeovil
Will not make any response,
Both customer services and the service department, it makes
The warranty worthless,
I would think very carefully about purchasing a motorcycle from
BRANSONS MOTORCYCLES YEOVIL,
This is how you could be delt With should your bike develop a fault
