Don’t get duped by the ‘Free Lifetime Aftercare’!
All in all good hearing aids and pleasant service from the audiologists I’ve dealt with however. Beware of the Free Lifetime Aftercare claim it’s at best very deceiving and I will be checking with the Advertising Standards Agency to see if it’s illegal. On 2 occasions now, I have had the tiny black collar that the white changeable grommet fits into replaced. The first time it happened the hearing aids were just under a year old and I took it into boots in Edinburgh to get repaired. The audiologist said that it can take a while to get fixed and he suggested he just superglued it back in place - he did and it seemed to work fine. When it happened again, just recently, they insisted at Stirling that it needed to be returned and that it would take 3 weeks to have it back to me (they were quicker than this). I was then hit with a bill of £99.00 for this repair to get done. When I asked about the Free Lifetime aftercare I was told that what the mean is that they will continue to repair/service the hearing aids for as long as I have them. In other words their ‘free’ service doesn’t actually give the customer anything free, what it does do is encourage the customer to take it back to them when something goes wrong and pay handsomely for the privilege.

Had a goid experience while having test and such.
The down side of buying a very expensive gearing aid was that they were unable to set up the aid to be able to answer phone calls and be able to hear. This as I say was really disappointing. They say they were going to look into problem. Will wait and see.
Professional and friendly.
