So I visited the store at Ishøj after I seen on their website that they had in their outlet store a mirror (code name Medina) 60% off the normal price.
When I requested to see it, the lady there said she had to ask some colleague of hers if the item is available or not, so she disappeared for a good 5 minutes. When she returned she said to me “It was sold and we didn’t remove it from the website yet”.
Her attitude seemed a bit off and suspicious to me, so, once I thanked her for her time and left the store, I called one of my Danish friends to contact the store and ask for the availability of this mirror. To my surprise, the response of the store was that they have the item ready for immediate pick up, the same store that had just told me they don’t have it !!!
According to Section 1 of the Danish Act on the Prohibition of Discrimination on the Grounds of Race, etc. (Lov om forbud mod forskelsbehandling på grund af race m.v., Act No. 626 of 29 September 1987, as amended), “Any person who carries on business or provides services to the public must not discriminate on the grounds of race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion, or belief.”
Amazing customer service and communication
I have recently been arranging some furniture for our apartment in Denmark with Corina. The service and help has been incredible. Currently I’m in the UK and have had to arrange this remotely. Corina has been gone above and beyond to assist me to ensure I make the right purchases. I could not recommend them more highly. Thank you

Low cost creative ideas
An exceptionally creative and practical company. They came to my house, suggested various ideas and didn't seem at all worried that I couldn't afford to take up (buy) anything. But, they gave me a precious, low-cost tip which I could use. Such a simple but powerful idea. I was enormously impressed and delighted.

Good experience from start to finish. I am writing to you because your company has behaved unprofessionally and I have been given false promises.
I bought a leather chair and an ottoman from you last year. First the delivery was majorly delayed, which I understand. But a defective piece was delivered when the chair finally came. Not only that, the ottoman was also missing from the delivery, so incomplete defective delayed delivery. When I contacted your company they didn't believe that the chair was defective, but, finally they came and inspected, and agreed to send a replacement for the chair. They also told us that the ottoman would eventually be delivered. The replacement chair was also majorly delayed without any updates. Due to all this unprofessionalism your sales rep Mira Ling and her manager told us that we would be given a discount for all the trouble we had to go through. But now, after the replacement chair has been delivered, no discount was credited to us. Infact your company has backtracked on their promise.
Extremely disappointing. Never doing business with you again, and I will make sure to let my family and friends know, never to buy from you again.

We ve bought a small walnut dining table from BoConcept last month. They have given as the papers about how we can use it and how to take care of the furniture. (since walnut brightens over time, you cannot use it for at least 2 weeks)
So after they have shipped it I took care of it and as it has been written I kept it open. Christmas has come and I though why not, I place the plastic box containing all the Christmas tree decorations in it. (About 3 kgs). I pulled it a bit over and the plastic box has intantly damaged the surface. I was extremely surprised that the walnut veneer at a single point has dusted off from the surface. The table was 2 days old at that point. I have written to the customer service and I have pointed out that the surface contained a hidden defect and I want a replacement or money back. (I have sent them a photo about the defect)
Well they have come out and also taken a photo from the damage. At that time was Christmas so the head quarter was closed so we had to wait 2 week at least for the answer.
Here comes the funny part. (or tragic) They have told me that I have dropped something on the surface and its my fault but they would give me a wood repair kit to fix it. I told them that at a luxury price I don't think that I should fix it so I wanted my money back. After we have argued a few minutes they have decided to gave our money back but only if we bring back the furniture.
The law says that if a furniture (or snything else) is more than 10kgs they have to bring it back. (This time we had to write an official letter) My wife is a prosecutor so she can write beautiful official letters. :)
Finally we were able to get back our money.
Actually I don't think they have a proper customer service, nor a proper quality control which is a shame, because I really like the design. And of the top of it I can't really understand why they can't accept the fact if they ship something with a hidden defect. (especially with 5 years of guarantee) It's the law of nature. Nothing is perfect. We are humans, they are humans, nothing is perfect. If they make a mistake, then fix it. (Especially at this price level I also have to fix my mistakes at my workplace)
So I'm very disappointed. They should really start appreciating their customers at this price level and show them a little bit more respect.
Fantastic furniture and service…
Fantastic furniture and outstanding service from Tillicoultry branch. Belle went out her way to show (video and pics) the items I was after. As they were ex-display I had to organise the courier myself (DPD - atrocious service, don’t use them over there). The courier failed to collect the items twice stating they weren’t ready which was not true. Belle and the team went over and above to finally ensure they were collected and shipped to me. I cannot thank her enough for it.
I spent over $20K at BoConcept in Costa…
I spent over $20K at BoConcept in Costa Mesa, CA buying a sectional, dinning table, and chairs. They failed to deliver the furniture on time, part of my order wasn't even delivered for weeks, and I had to go pick it up from the store after having to follow up with them for weeks, with no response back from BoConcept.
Their customer service is the worst. They simply don't care about their customers at all. The quality of their product is HORRIBLE. They use very cheap materials and the money you spent with them is a complete waste of your hard-earned money.

Still waiting on a delivery date. I wouldn’t mind so much but the stores are always empty so what are they doing on the laptops - as it doesn't appear to be contacting customers.
Where is my sofa?
I ordered a sofa from BoConcepts on the 10th April paying full price (over HK$20,000) - order number OSF-002310. Three months later and still no sofa. Where is my sofa - can anyone from BoConcepts explain? I am really disappointed that they haven't been able to deliver. Why is this? I can not understand why customers have to wait so long. This company is selling furniture that they don't have. And yet they pride themselves as a premium company - their service is terrible. I tried to follow up with logistics but they are a joke - such poor service, clueless and slow response time. In the long run if they fail to deliver and treat their customers like this their business model remains unsustainable. Their logistics department is a complete joke. Avoid buying from this company is my recommendation if you wish to remain sane and happy.

Poor and ignorant aftercare
Posting here hoping someone in BoConcept in the globe will be able to help with my situation with a Hong Kong shop who is completely ignorant and dishonest and have ignored or left my case unresolved for three months. No proper expertise in the products they are selling and thus poor aftercare services with completely ignorant and even dishonest sales/hundymen team. I truly regret my poor judgment trusting them only by the brand name, BoConcept. I really don't recommend purchasing anything from BoConcept Central Shop or probably any stores in Hong Kong to be safe.
Amsterdam Sofa, which I purchased in Central shop in July 2021, started making a terrible squeaking sound only 1-2 months after the purchase. To get aftercare support and the noise fixed, I contacted via whatsup in October the shop assistant "Anthony" guy, who we bought the sofa from and initially was very helpful and sent their handyman to check the sofa (they had no knowledge of the sofa structure and couldn't find out what caused the noise and just took photos) but then stopped updating me soon after he told me he was escalating the handyman's report to what he called Headquarters to get some instruction for the fixing while the noise still persisted.
In late Nov, I contacted the shop to see if any followup finally, but it turned out that Anthony guy actually closed my case out and no-one had ever since followed up or done anything, and shockingly didn't work in the shop any longer. The guy who I spoke in the shop, Lucas and his manager, another Anthony, didn't have any idea of what I have been asking for their help with in the last tiring 2 months. I had to take them through the same again. I also tried to reach out to the "Headquarters" hoping to get better supports and found the telephone number for somewhere in Denmark. I called them asking the operator for customer care but only ended up with some voice msg. I just left my msg telling all the situation and asking for a proper support.
A few days after the call to Denmark, with my voice msg somehow circulating back to Hong Kong, I was contacted by Calvin, who works in Kowloon Tong shop, and was actually the only and the most professional person that I ever talked to with BoConcept Hong Kong and helped push through the reopening and further investigation for my case. The Central shop finally started working on the case again and sent Lucas and a seemingly technician to my place to check the issue in the sofa. It was 17 Dec 2021, almost 3 months after I initially reported the problem. Before they arrive I googled and searched for possible reasons for such noise and found some candidates to match with my case, which was an excessive friction b/w springs and clips to which the springs get attached. I asked the technician guy to particularly take a closer look at the clips and eventually admitted that it was indeed because of sleeves or paper inners (to eliminate friction and noise) in some of the spring clips are coming apart or removed, causing the creaky noise. However, they only put some ruber bands to "cripple" springs so that they don't move or expand as originally designed, which of course would reduce the friction b/w crips and springs and thus less noise, but wasn't willing to fix the root cause itself. I asked them to repair or replace the damaged clips as it would be just a matter of time for the noise to come back unless they fix the root cause. The Central shop manafer, another Anthony, promised me to further follow up with their Headquarters on restoring quality.
On 15 Jan 2022, 1 month after their visit, I contacted the manager Anthony guy to get any update as they have been again very quiet giving me no contact ever since. And unfortunately, as I expected, the sofa has already started squeaking. Amsterdam Sofa is a high end sofa and I can't accept it becomes squeaky only after a few months. Today, on 16 Jan 2022, no update from anyone, but still hoping they will finally give their honest and professional care to their customer who bought what's found defective that they sold and promised to provide an aftercare for by reparing, replacing or else refunding.

Osaka Sectional
We ordered an Osaka sectional sofa few year ago. When we received it, it was defective and in a bad condition. After a long negation, we were told the sofa was not designed for the fabric. As a result we re-ordered a leather Osaka sectional. The second one was in better condition compared to the first one but not as the same we saw in the show room. The cuts was not right, puffi cushions,... Now after three years, using once week for few hours, it is in a bad shape. We got back pain. I believe if we bought a cheap online sofa, it was in much better condition now.
Dining table and chairs
I had bought a dining table and a 6 chair set from Bo Concept last year and since the day i received it I have regretted my purchase. The chairs are creaky and low quality. I would have been better off purchasing plastic chairs which would be comfortable and not creak. They have RUINED my floor boards as the chair leg protector at the bottom has come off too! It is embarassing for all the guests who do come as the chairs just creak every time they move! I bought this in your Finchley Road branch and am yet to hear back from ANYONE! It has been less than a year since I have had them and want to throw them out!
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Systems are atrocious. Say they will call u galf an hour before but the system scrambles the number...pleasant but unhelpful staff.

It seems the QC (quality control) department at BoConcept or customer service doesn't exist after seeing all the other bad feedback experiences here!
We recently purchased the Sydney trolley which arrived looking rather second-hand than new. The retailer we purchased it from were so supportive and helpful and immediately had a replacement trolley ordered. However, the next one turned up just as bad. BoConcept didn't even attempt to help in any way other than suggest we order another one. BoConcept - you're a joke! 🤪

Will put zero stars if possible. Payed 16 000 kr bed plus delivery on top. Lead time was 13 weeks, which is wired itself for this price. They messed up with delivery terms with our order. When the bed arrived it’s totally dissembled, you have to build the bed from scratch for 16000 kr!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is that!!!!!!!!!!! No service was offered. Just stay away from this.

I only have the sofa for 3 months and it is already completely worn out!
