Beautiful Place with some defects

Location: Beautiful natural setting and a dream view from the well-equipped restaurants. We also found the pebble beach beautiful, especially since another clean natural beach was within walking distance.

Hotel: We don't expect everything to be perfect, but the price-performance ratio didn't really meet our expectations. The “villa” room category we booked turned out to be an apartment in a house with four units, which contained two rooms with two beds each, connected without a door, and a bathroom with really rusty fixtures. We had actually expected a kind of living room or lounge with this type of room. There was an armchair in the rooms, but a balcony with four chairs.
We found the outdoor area VERY NICE overall, but it was unpleasant that there was a lot of trash lying around everywhere and no one seemed to care. We also had the problem of stained or missing towels. The toilet bucket was also only emptied irregularly.
In our “all-inclusive area,” the drinks machine was turned off because it was the end of the season, almost a week before the end of our vacation, and the sun loungers by the pool simply disappeared, even though we had paid for them.
The “playground” turned out to be a very old swing and a seesaw that was already falling apart in places.

Staff: The reception staff and the restaurant staff were all very friendly and helpful at all times.

Food: We really enjoyed the wide variety of food, but here too, there was a surprising decline from “very good” to increasingly reheated leftovers towards the end of the season.

CONCLUSION: The accommodation is ideal for people who want to have many options in one place without experiencing mass tourism. It is a truly beautiful spot with overall satisfying service and quality, but the winter months should be used to check each accommodation for overdue renovations, remove trash, and make the room categories more transparent.

Avoid at all costs

Holiday was sold as 'all inclusive' (not cheap) but when we got there the food provided under the guise of all inclusive was inedible. Food was often recycled to the next few days, and fruit tended to be fermenting. Water was not supplied, but there was cheap watered down wine and beer on tap. The dining area filled with smoke whenever they cooked, and this did not set off the smoke alarms as there were none. Room was appalling, as was the attitude of the receptionist/owner who was rude and abrupt. In our room the bed was broken, smoke detector removed and broken door. In order to eat you had to visit one of their 'a la carte' restaurants which they claim was subsidised. A kettle, 2 teabags and 2 sachets of coffee were supplied in the room. Shower taps were on the floor, and the hose stretched to the ceiling so it could not be moved - you had to stand at the back of the shower to get wet. Transport provided by the hotel was the works van with no seatbelts and a driver who steered with his knees while using his hands to smoke and talk on his phone. The hotel is however in a beautiful spot, and if it were to be run by someone whose only priority was profit, it could well be a 4-5 star resort. This is NOT.

Really good experience

Really good experience. Reception was really helpful and the staff are really kind and friendly.
The views from our balcony was amazing and the atmosphere around the whole hotel was good.
The staff were wonderful and kind. Also the food was tasty too.
Would recommend!

2 star at best!

Staff lacked empathy (or basic customer service), room was mouldy, cleaners walked in without knocking, food was mediocre at best.
Will never return to this hotel.

Website looks better than reality

The staff are so laid back they might as well be horizantal. Clearly wasn't ready to open for business when I arrived. Room was dusty. Restuarant wasn't up and running. Beach beds weren't available yet. Food was terrible and I got sick on the last day.

Beach has a large village dog that likes marking its territory by peeing on you or running of with your clothes, towel or shoes. I managed to get peed on and my towel was ruined by it clamping on to it.

Beach front very rocky, you need swim shoes.

In the middle of nowhere so great if you want seclusion or to go hiking. Not so great if you want activity.

Love Greece but will not be returning here.

Staff were nice though.
