We recently moved into our new home and had the pleasure of working with Blinds By Luxton for our window treatments. From the initial consultation to the final installation, the service we received was nothing short of exceptional.

Sharon was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to guide us through our options, specifically recommending faux wood Venetian blinds that perfectly suit our style and windows. Her expertise made the selection process effortless and enjoyable.

The installation was equally impressive. Neville arrived on time and worked quickly, even tackling the tricky installation over the stairs with ease. We were amazed at how smoothly everything went!

Excellent service from start to finish. Sharon really helped us to choose the right type of blinds for a new Summer room, she listened to what we wanted and made it easy to choose. Neville was not going to be beaten by the difficulty of the fitting and has done a wonderful job. People were saying Wow, when they saw the room before, they'll be lost for words when they see it now we have these beautiful automated blinds fitted.

Neville fitted 6 large blinds in our Conservatory,
He was a true gentleman. The work was carried out in a most professional way.

Anyone can write a review, but it’s only when you use the company you know the reviews are true to their word. Our blinds are beautiful and perfect. Sharon was quick to reply to any of our concerns and Neville’s installation was clean and perfect. We had our extra blinds fitted, to match our existing blinds fitted by the developer. What a great company to do business with. Call us old school but to have things done right the first time what a joy. We can’t recommend Blinds By Luxton enough ☺️

Well this was an experience and a half. We get Sharon round to quote us for a bay window, 5 panels and we get the most ridiculous quote of £1000, quickly changed to £700 in an email shortly after leaving. I decided this was just too much money so I get other quotes for REAL WOOD blinds and soon realise £1000 is too much and even £700 is too much. So to be polite I sent Sharon a nice email, seen below only to get a rude email back. Quite a shocking unprofessional attitude and response. Be careful on this one, if you don’t accept her silly prices you might get her nasty replies

Sorry about the delay in getting back to you, thanks for coming out and having a look and giving us a quote.
I must admit Caroline and I both thought the quote was a lot and even at around £700 we thought it was expensive, having said that we didn’t know what was expensive and what wasn’t. I had a shop around for supply only and found there was lots of places that will cut your blinds and supply only, and this is very much cheaper. As I am more than capable of doing a very good job this would be ok for me.

So I wanted to let you know this is probably what we will do, but I didn’t want to just ignore your email as that is rude, I’d would like to thank you though for coming out.

Thank you for your reply, as disappointing as it is, well I’m pleased my free wealth of knowledge and samples of blinds to demonstrate and pictures to share helped you make your decision and that your going to a large manufacturing on line to get your blinds.
Thank you for looking after the small independent family business who have struggled during the last 2 yrs of covid .

I must also say that the quality from online suppliers is not like for like and that is why it is cheaper, still faux wood but not manufactured at the high standards.
Yes your lucky to be able to put your hand to fitting them yourself.!!!

It would have been nice for you to have done your research beforehand rather than after you took all my knowledge etc and I could have spent time with a genuine customer!!
I look forward to driving past your house and seeing your new blinds erected .

Wow Sharon how bloody unprofessional of you to reply in such a nasty way, maybe we should get a few things right then, you wanted £1000 to supply and fit a set of blinds that I could not find from any other company anywhere near that price, let’s work on an about price shall we, let’s say to supply only £400. Do you think just because you are a local firm that you deserve £600 to fit them. I don’t think so, how long will it take to fit them, les than a morning I think, do you think your husbands services are worth £1200 a day, no I don’t think so not unless he is a Pilot or a Dr.

At the end of the day Sharon if you want to overcharge for your service then you should expect not to get the work, grow up and stop being unprofessional a free quote is exactly what it is, it’s a punt for trying to get the work, if you think I should give you the work just because you are a local business then you obviously haven’t been in business for long.
