Well - what can I say about this awful company? Back on 23rd May 2024 we were looking at Compete For when we were called by their Mathew Roger from their sister company BiP Solutions to suggest we look at their system instead. Which we agreed too a demo. All we wanted was a demo, 6mins after the demo call we received an invoice for a £3.5k subscription and bombarded by emails from their accounts dept for payment - We hadn't agreed to purchase anything. All purchases made by our business are subject to us issuing a PO's. We are a No PO no order/no work type of business. We advised via email 12th June 2024 that we were not proceeding and to cancel our invoice. They tried to deny that we had sent the email until Aug 2024. Long long story cut short - they started legal with us in Nov 2024 - then a debt collector called Vincent Short took over. Purely out of principle we decided to defend ourselves and let it go to court. In legal mediation via the phone in March 2025 they offered a reduced value of 50% - we offered them £50, which they declined. So it went to court on 19th Sept 2025. They didn't turn up to court siting that because such a small value and they are so far away in Scotland and they believed we were totally at fault they wouldn't be attending. In the meantime we had prepared a 126 page document of timelines and evidence and presented to the court. Ultimately, they tried to say we had logged on and they submitted a I.P address as evidence that we had logged into their system. But, the IP address was in Manchester - which by coincidence is where their sister company is based!! The case was dismissed by the judge. The TRUTH prevailed and these pirates didn't get any monies from us. Be very very careful with any contact from this business (or sister companies) - they may be a government promoted business, but they have picked on the wrong company where we are concerned.

My experience with BIP Solutions has been extremely disappointing.
I signed up to their platform but, due to an unexpected shortage of staff, we were unable to make use of it beyond the first week. Despite explaining this situation openly and honestly, and despite the fact they can see from their own system that we only logged in at the very start, I have been met with no understanding or flexibility.
Instead, their only response has been to point to the contract and threaten me with legal action unless I pay the full £5,100. There has been no willingness to find a fair solution, only pressure tactics.
For me, this is a crazy way to do business – prioritising short-term money over long-term relationships or reputation. Businesses face unforeseen challenges all the time, and I would have expected more understanding from a company that claims to support other organisations.
I would advise anyone considering their services to think very carefully before signing anything, as in my experience there has been zero flexibility, zero customer care, and an aggressive approach to enforcing payment regardless of circumstances.
False promises, very poor services, even worse customer service skills.
Aggressive scammers for profit!
I suspect most of BIP 5 star reviews are fake. They have been reported to Trading Standards for running a scam lead generation service. They get people to sign up then if you don't cancel in writing you get invoiced for £1200. We took them to court in the end and won and they had to pay us compensation.
