To help resolve the situation, we also offered you an alternative vehicle that was available immediately at a £1,000 lower price, which you chose to decline. We refunded your money.

Shocking experience with this company
Shocking experience with this company. I would not recommend anyone to buy a vehicle from here. Especially from a lady called Tasmin. I came to pick up a lorry the rear bumper was loose and hanging on by one cable tie. Vehicle had a massive air leak. And was not safe to be driven. When asked I was told lie after lie. They would not allow me to even complain. One of the worse buying experiences I’ve ever had.

Firstly, we encourage potential customers to see all other reviews mentioning Tasmin, as they reflect her professionalism, honesty, and dedication to excellent customer service.
Regarding your concerns:
• The "rear bumper" you mentioned was actually the number plate board, which had been temporarily secured after the removal of the box at your request. This was done to ensure it could be safely driven to the bodybuilder for the recovery back to be fitted.
• The air leak you referred to was a minor issue from a pipe, which we replaced immediately while you waited. The number plate board was not designed to be pulled, and that caused it to come loose, which we then secured again.
• We offered a £150 discount (gesture of goodwill) and even proposed to repair the air leak at our cost once the body was fitted.
• You did have the opportunity to raise complaints—and in fact, you did so to Tasmin, the General Manager, and the Director. We take all feedback seriously and were open to resolving any concerns.
• Unfortunately, your physically aggressive behaviour was noted by multiple staff members, including those in other departments who were not even involved in the discussion. Other customers have also made reference to the behaviour they witnessed.
Finally, the vehicle purchased was a 6-year-old lorry with 308,000 km on the clock, which had been fully prepped with a six-weekly check at our HGV site before collection.
We take pride in our transparency and high customer satisfaction, as reflected in numerous positive reviews. We regret that your experience did not meet expectations, but we stand by the fairness and professionalism of our team throughout the process. While we are always open to resolving concerns professionally, we have a zero-tolerance policy for physical aggression toward our staff. Under no circumstances will we allow intimidation or hostility in our workplace.

The finance brookers we used were not ideal and Tasmin @ Big Van World was brilliant on chasing them up, sorting delivery and all paperwork.
