I had a very disappointing experience with Better Life. The maintenance service provided was far below acceptable standards.
The team arrived late, appeared unprepared, and the quality of work was extremely poor. Issues that were supposed to be fixed were either done incorrectly or left unresolved. I had to follow up multiple times, and even then, the response was slow and unhelpful.
What is most frustrating is the lack of professionalism and accountability. There was no proper communication, and no effort to ensure customer satisfaction after the service.
I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable maintenance services. There are far better and more professional options available in the market.

Very disappointing experience. I have been following up since Monday for a quotation to replace an electric cooker, with no response despite multiple reminders. This was the first time I followed up as a client ready to proceed and pay, yet there was a complete lack of responsiveness. After prolonged follow-up, one team member finally informed me that I need to go to the showroom and purchase a new unit instead, which could have been communicated clearly from the start. This level of service is below expectations and not aligned with the standards usually experienced in Dubai. Better communication and customer follow-up are needed.

I am extremely disappointed with this delivery service. The appliance was not delivered within the promised timeframe, without any valid explanation. Even worse, there was absolutely no respect for the customer — no phone call, no message, no update to inform me about the delay.
I had to chase them myself just to get information, and even then, the responses were vague and unprofessional. When you order a household appliance, you organize your schedule around the confirmed delivery date. Failing to respect the deadline without any communication is simply unacceptable.
This company shows a complete lack of seriousness, professionalism, and customer respect. I absolutely do not recommend this service.
Service visit didn’t solve the problem
My washing machine stopped working, and I described the issue in detail when requesting a service visit. A technician came the next day, and I paid AED 200 for the call-out/inspection.
During the visit, I was told the machine could not be repaired and that a replacement part was required. I was told an invoice would be sent.
The invoice was only sent two days later, so I ended up waiting 3–4 days in total to understand the next steps. The invoice did not clearly specify the part (no part number or detailed description). After I asked for the part number, I was quoted AED 650 for the part and a waiting time of around two weeks.
Because of the delay and the lack of clarity, I arranged a second opinion with an independent technician. After inspecting and opening the machine, he identified a different cause and repaired it within one day. The washing machine is working normally now.
Based on my experience, the initial diagnosis and proposed solution from Better Life did not resolve the issue, and the proposed cost and timeline were significantly higher than the actual repair that was completed.

Our experience with Better Life, the distributor of Smeg, has been incredibly disappointing and the worst we have encountered . We invested in a very expensive kitchen appliance package, including a top-of-the-line Smeg oven, microwave, and other electronics. Shockingly, almost every appliance has broken within the first year.
The most unacceptable issue was the Smeg oven door literally falling off after just one year of normal use. This was the most premium model offered — supposedly the best in quality. Better Life is now refusing to take responsibility because the warranty has just expired, but let’s be very clear:
A luxury Smeg oven at this price should NEVER fail in one year. This is a quality defect, not normal wear and tear.
We have owned far less expensive ovens for many years without a single issue. To pay a premium and have major failures so quickly — only to be told “nothing can be done” — is unacceptable.
Better Life’s after-sales service is unhelpful, dismissive, and unwilling to stand behind the products they sell. We deeply regret purchasing Smeg appliances through them.
Avoid Better Life and avoid Smeg — the price is luxury, but the durability and customer support are absolutely not.

I bought washing machine on February 19 after 2 months it’s not working well, there’s leaking water coming from the drawer and the portal as well.. after the technician checked it he told me the water coming from evaporation temperature and detergent must be like a spoon.. I already have LG and Ariston machines, both working excellent, I use to put same kind of soap and same quantity

Never order from these guys. They’re Cowboys and failed every implied term of quality and fit for purpose that they could. My oven broke, they took 2 weeks to fix it. they finally sent someone to fix it and he clearly had no training and what he did caused my oven to set on fire whilst my babies were sleeping upstairs. Thank goodness I came into the kitchen when I did. They said they would send someone the same day, no one came. A week later they took the oven away. I was without an oven for 3 weeks with no calls from them, no updates, no help. When they finally delivered a replacement it was half the size and barely capable of cooking food for my family. One burner on the hob doesn’t even work. That all happened in February. It is now 15th April and they say they will deliver the same oven - which apparently I am meant to trust has been “fixed” this time - tomorrow. I have had basically zero correspondence from them throughout, perhaps one call a week from a call center who has no authority to discuss any of the issue who say they will ask a manager to calll me. No manager calls me. I get a follow up call the next week again from a call center and we have the same conversation. The service at all levels has been abysmal as well as their shoddy and dangerous workmanship. I paid a premium to order from better life an do never want to deal with them again, save yourselves months of your life and the concern of your family being out in jeopardy and order from Carrefour or any other merchant but this one.
No after sale service
I bought build-in smeg dishwasher and oven from Better Life and paid for delivery and installation on 29 March. The team arrived late and only halfway installed the appliances and told me to get a carpenter. The next morning we try to finish installation but found that 12 screws, moist plate and 2 essential attachments were missing. They promised to send to me but up to now they ignore my calls, whatsapp and emails. I asked very polite that they should just tell me if they can assist, which they promised at start, but no reply. The manager Mr. Shyam Ebrahim should call me as the customer service lady: Maharlani Bajamone promised. But it is already 3 weeks and my machine is still not operational. I am desperate because it seems as if I bought this machine and will not be able to use it. I will contact Smeg. Smeg is an excellent brand but the Better Life, the agent for them in UAE is not standing up to the brand name. This wasn't the first time, Better Life doesn't have any after sale service.

Naive and unskilled technicians with zero knowlege
I purchased Siemens dishwasher from SharafDG in 2021. Recently, it started showing Error 15. Better Life is authorized service provider for Siemens in UAE. I called them up and next day the person from service center came. He did nothing and asked me to run the machine for 1 more day to check if error pops up again. The same error re-appeared. He was send back to my house again. This time he said that Dishwasher needs to be taken to service center to diagnose and fix. During this time, they changed one of the parts and charged me 100 AED for the same. Additionally there service charge was 200 AED. After 4 days, they returned the Dishwasher claiming that its now fixed. The same error popped up again. Again the same service advisor came to my home to check and told me that its very hard to fix an expensive Dishwasher. I was very surprised by his statement and my confidence in Betterlife started to die. I then spoke to his Supervisor who send 2 "so called" senior technicians to my place to fix the issue. The two guys claimed leakage in my Dishwasher. This time they said that part would cost Approx 300 AED more and machine needs to be taken to service center again. After 2 days, they sent me a quotation of 1500 AED for 4 parts replacements.
At this stage I understood, that technicians in Better Life are naive and untrained. They don't have any knowledge on how to fix the Dishwasher. And just in order to escape, they shared a quotation that customer would never agree and would then ask them to scrap the Dishwasher instead.
My suggestion to the people in UAE is to to avoid any home appliance brand which has assigned Better Life as their authorized service partners. They have highly unskilled team of technicians with zero knowledge. They will not be able to resolve the issue with your expensive home appliances and you will land up scrapping the same.
Very poor delivery service
Very poor delivery service, I got a fridge from Carrefour Hypermarket moe since Saturday, they promised to deliver on Tuesday, I didn't get Tuesday, Wednesday, they called me that they will deliver on Thursday. Pathetic service. Won't advice to patronize them.
The worst service ever
If there was a star for no rating I would have given that . Very very poor service for Forbes water purifier . The customer service centre doesn’t know anything , they don’t know how to treat emergencies. I had a chat with the team personnel of Forbes , Sijjin - the most clueless person I have met . Kept repeating the same thing as if it was recorded and did not listen to customer grievance . Has the management changed in the last few months ? Very very very very poor .
The Worst & Non Existent Customer Support
Bought a Terim Wine Cooler and after a day noticed that the temperature was not stable - set at 5C but going to 13C. The technician came and said this is normal as 13C is the ambient outside temperature - means room temperature - in Dubai - from where do they get this explanation. Anyway they refused to axchange the unit saying that this is a normal operational issue. So I am now saddled with a defective wine cooler!
They have no interest or desire to solve the issue as they dont want to have any spikes in their normal mundane day where they do nothing productive. The worst and most ineffecient technical support ever. They should change their name from Better Life - as this is misleading.
