Every conceivable plumbing component next day. How do they do it? Prices are very fair too. e.g. a fairly standard nylon pipe connector as you would expect, less than 50p, but on famous auction site for £7, everyones favourite online warehouse its £10 and the big retail park DIY store a whopping £15!From now on I am blacklisting all the price gougers and sticking with honest traders like BES.

So i found BES online and ordered one late yesterday afternoon getting it across country the following morning!
Unbelieveable, a plumbing emergency averted by this company that actually has stock and gets it to you quicker than all the local shops could!
Needless to say they are on my list now of great people with a great company.
The expansion tank was of good quality and at a good price.
Thank you guys you do your company proud.

Great company with a good range of threaded pipe fittings, many of which (such as the black iron fittings) are suitable for use with steam engines or vintage machines.
the only downside is that if only ordering one or two small bits, the postage is very expensive, but if ordering a lot of components or large items, the postage is very reasonable.
Always very helpful and hands on and willing to help!
I bought a 10mm to 1/4 adaptor but they sent out 16mm instead and instead of appologising and refund me they argue about 16mm while I have got the proof as a photo and have already sent them.

We ordered some urgent materials yesterday, for a property we are fitting out with heating and hot water so the customer could have heat and water back on this evening, as BES was showing the items in stock.
We made sure the value was over the level to make the next day delivery. The address was correct and in full.
The team and people on site comprised or 6 people - 2 engineers and 2 - electricians and 2 customers all in the property.
Despite this DPD 'BES's courier did not deliver the products, said no one in.... but took them to a Post Office (which probably means they couldn't find the property, because they timed out trying to find it and took the easy way out and caused issues. this is a knock on effect of pressurising delivery KPI's) on receiving a notification to tell me this was the case, i called BES, and in fairness Tracy did her best at BES, but the courier apparently would not move an inch, and told Tracy that they would not go back and pick it up and deliver it to the correct address, they were saying it would be classed as a return? What because they messed up?
We at this point dont know why they didn't deliver it to the correct requested address, but we will be finding out in due course.
Dose'nt sound like much of an issue, but the clients will now have no heating and no hot water as a consequence, not to mention my incurred costs through no fault of our own.
We spend several thousands of pounds a year on items that BES sell, seems to matter not, so why bother to sell and promote products, and send us brochures and market to us this next day service, if they don't get the products there as advertised and heavily sold.
Safe to say, given there was no solution to this issue today other than 'you have to collect it tomorrow form a DPD location' which is a post office some miles away, is very poor.
Sadly we have to raise this through BES as the law means we have to go through the retailer, which is a shame as DPD sail away with damaged caused free as a bird, that is not right or reasonable.
Regrettably this decision today by your courier BES has lost our business and any future recommendations, absolutely shocking.
No mention of any form of resolve or resolution.
I hope Jana Siber gets to grips properly with this key issue, and uses her experience as former MD of British gas to sort their supply chain out, as things like this are bad for business and bad for brand, reputation, customers, shareholders and stakeholders.

They are like the Amazon of the plumbing supplies world, but unlike Amazon, BES has quality control. I've bought loads from here, and I've never had anything that wasn't well-made and fit for purpose. They are always reliable and quick. Occasionally, there are things that are cheaper elsewhere, but I'd still pick BES because I know that what I'm getting will arrive quickly, and there won't be any problems.

Need an item so rang BES - they advised what to do ref placing an order online. I placed it at 3pm and it arrived by 10:30 am the next day - packaging was exceptional and also had some pamphlets inside showing other products - rang the next day to advise of my satisfaction and hence adding this review - a good service from an established Brummigam business - 10/10
I thought I'd do a quick review I'm very happy I decided to buy from Bes. I looked at several options; Bes were the best on price; some other companies even wanted to charge more for the plastic key to secure the door. It arrived very well packaged and very quickly. I'll definitely look to Bes for similar needs in the future.
I sent an e-mail enquiry and received my quote straight away and then placed a written order requesting a pro-forma invoice for card payment which arrived by return, I then phoned up to make the payment and Tracy answered the phone, she kept me notified at all times during the process and was extremely helpful and efficient.

Fantastic customer services tonight from Tracy, really impressed with her people skills and friendly personality. Had issue with a part that I ordered and being a Friday evening, Tracy went out of her way to find a solution so I wasn’t left waiting until Monday morning. Much appreciated and will be using company again when needed.
On 07/12/2025 I ordered 15mm Tectite straight couplings and also elbows. I received the straights but not the elbows. They were to follow. I had not heard from bes by 15/12/2025 so I phoned them.I was told I would receive the elbows the following week.
I'm still waiting, again, no communication from bes.
Has this company changed hands?
They need to re-establish good customer service.
I have asked for a refund, and will no longer be a customer.

Ordered a pipe insulation and pipe duct, for delivery on 16th. Nothing had arrived on 16th, next day 17th only one part arrived the pipe insulation. Now is 18th and the tracking number has no update for the second item. Why on Earth would it be delivered in 2 parts and not the same day, its absolutely inconvenient and stupid. Leaving for holiday tomorrow evening and cant finish the job, I surely wont use this company again or recommend.
