We stayed at the hotel a couple of weeks ago with a group of friends for a brass band contest. Wendy and Steve were so welcoming and helpful to our whole group. The rooms were lovely, the breakfast was legendary and it was such a nice touch to have chilled water and home-made cakes in the dining room for us to pick up at our leisure. We would definitely stay again.
Lovely welcome by Steve and Wendy. Beautiful, relaxing and spotless room with lovely bathroom and facilities. Attention to detail 👌. Much enjoyed fresh gluten free breakfast also. Would highly recommend to others and revisit ourselves should the opportunity arise - thank you Wendy and Steve.

Convenient location close to all attractions
Had a one night stay here and would highly recommend it. We were greeted by Steve who showed us the honesty bar and told us to help ourselves to bottles of cold water, fresh milk and home made millionaires shortbread, which was delicious. Breakfast the next morning was first class, lots of cereals, fresh fruit, home made yoghurt and a selection of cooked breakfasts.
The Berburry is ideally located for events at the Princess Theatre and seafront and the spacious rooms are very comfortable and very clean and tidy.
Will definitely return in the future.

My wife and I went on a short three night break to Torquay and staid in this hotel. Great location and walking distance to local restaurants. A great B&B! Easy parking. Hosts were tremendous! The hotel was spotless. Rooms very spacious and comfortable. Gave a crisp and clean feeling. Breakfasts were absolutely delicious, cooked by one of the owners Wendy. Steve, the other co-owner provided the waiter service. Also had a nice Honesty bar and comfortable seating area. Would definitely go back! Fabiana and John
