Unfortunately stuck in a chain with…

Unfortunately stuck in a chain with these useless lot. They don’t chase, return calls and let things slip back. Solicitors are even worse and have been ‘dealing’ with enquiries for 8 weeks. Days go by without updates or progress chasing. They don’t give a toss about the people in the chain if it causes them to actually be proactive. Avoid like the plague.

Big regret renting with them

I was a good tenant with them for 5years.
They wanted a new contract after I informed the landlord that my pregnant partner would be living as my house guest while resolving a visa extention issue. She couldn't sign the contract due to her residency status, so they instead served a minimum legal notice no-fault eviction on me just weeks later.
I will miss my child's birth abroad now because of it.
My impression from dealings with them is that they value only your money, tenant lives are barely a distant afterthought. Not a company I'll ever be using again for sure.

Poor service overall

Property was listed for 16 weeks. Within this time they secured 1 viewing. Communication with Benjamin's involved us contacting them to be either told the person dealing with our sale was on holiday, out of the office or they would get them to call us back, which rarely happened. We went 5 weeks without having any update at all. The only reason we stayed with this poor estate agent was that we were tied in with them for 16 weeks. After several weeks they suggested lowering the price, and they would update the photographs of the house, the price was lowered however they did not update the photographs. I genuinely have nothing good to say about this company, they couldn't even take their for sale sign down in a timely manner. We have since changed estate agents and within 24 hrs of it being listed we have 3 viewing this week.
Edit.
Had a viewing today, lovely couple who had tried to arrange a viewing whilst it was listed with Benjamin's, however Benjamin's never got back to them.

Terrible communication and…

Terrible communication and organisation.
Spoke to 3 different people and I never got the call backs or information I needed as I kept being tossed between staff saying the person I needed to speak to was away.

I kept being told I'd receive a guaranteed call back from the agent I wanted to contact regarding a same day appointment.

I needed a call back ASAP as I had to arrange whether I needed to be off work to view a property - as I was told on the previous day that the only available appointments were on this day. But instead of being told at 9am when I called that I wasn't going to get an appointment on that day, I just kept being handed excuses saying they'd call me back.

I would have never had to keep calling if I'd have gotten the correct information in the first place, such as 'We won't be able to make an appointment today.' or 'We'll be in touch regarding next week as there will be more appointments then.' or ask 'What time is the latest they can contact me regarding being able to make an appointment'. - then I would have known there and then what was happening.
But instead - it still kept being tossed around and I was never given clear information, such as saying 'I'd be given a call back ''later''' or 'they're unsure if the property has already gone', or 'the person they need to speak to wasn't in'...

Not to mention being told by the manager: 'We guarantee we'll give a call back at 2-4pm' and then never calling at all (when I called to ask why i hadn't gotten the call, the the original agent said she wasn't going to call at all even after us speaking to a manager as they didn't manage to book anything, which was a complete miscommunication and rather appalling).

The original agent then told me she'd I had never told her I needed to know about if I needed to be in the area, which is clearly written in an application to say I need to give my work notice which I have received back in an email, so she clearly had the information - not to mention I also let them know twice over the phone.

All I was expecting was someone to guarantee if I could get an appointment on the day they'd stated to me was the only available day for me to view, but instead they made me feel like I constantly had to wait as there was never going to be an appointment more than an hour from a phone call.
They should have prioritised this the minute they knew the application time only fitted into certain days they had made available, or clearly told me it wasn't going to be possible from the start instead of making the organisation into a guessing game.
