You are paying for the unique location
A stay at this unique B&B is not cheap. You are paying for the most dramatic of locations with unparalleled views.
The small discount for single occupancy is highly commendable.
Rooms are very small, the bathroom is particularly tight. The shower was extremely weak, a real let down tbh because after a day of hiking, you wsnt a strong, hot shower. There is a common area (lounge), which provides a useful space.
The standard of cleanliness was good, but could be better. For the price, I'd expect the cobwebs on the walls/ceilings to be dealt with.
The welcome was okay, could be warmer and more heartfelt.
Breakfast was reasonable, albeit not huge. For the price, the yoghurt could be served in a little bowl rather than handed to you in it's original container. Coffee was excellent.
The loud radio at breakfast is a strange idea. Suggest the volume be turned way down, or do away completely.
A 1 litre bottle of quality mineral water in each room would be nice. The water provided for guests in the fridge tasted of tap water. The restriction placed on how much water guests could consume was cheeky when you consider the nightly rate.
Bed was uncomfortably soft and I woke up with a sore back.
You do hear every little sound, so bring earplugs.
The outside area needs an upgrade. Maybe some pot /plants and seating. Make a nice little garden?
In any case, I would stay again because the location is unbeatable.
