Rubbish product, just buy cheap ones
Customer service chat function is great. It’s just a shame that the replacement service is a bit of a sham and the product itself is rubbish. I have always bought cheap Amazon glass screen protectors in the past and have rarely had to replace these. I had a belkin one put on at the Apple Store in Nov when I got my iPhone 16 and I am already on my second replacement. But I tried to order my second replacement only to find out I needed an original receipt this time and I didn’t last time! I felt like they were making stuff up as they go along. Apple Store tell you to just register the product online but customer service told me this was wrong and all that is needed is the original receipt and an image of the broken screen protector on your phone. I did not have the receipt however so I am officially stuck with a broken screen protector. Also, don’t make the mistake of taking the screen protector off to take the picture!!!! You will just have to deal with little shards of glass going in your fingers until you get round to ordering a replacement cuz if you take it off they defo won’t replace it. So to make things even more complicated you have to use someone else’s phone to take the picture of it and get them to send to you. I guess the terrible process of ordering a replacement is how they earn all their money because people pay silly amounts for supposedly unlimited screen protectors when in reality they break straight away and you can never order a replacement. So you are paying silly amounts for a cheaply made product which is not fit for purpose.
The only positive is the chat customer service function who are quick to answer messages and friendly. Shame they have to rep such a crap product…
Poor customer support.
Poor customer support.
Sadly the screen protector promoted, sold and applied by Apple Store in the UK is almost impossible to have replaced. Belkin offer a replacement service but it is complicated and requires original receipts and photos of any damage (crack across the screen).
Disappointing especially as it was endorsed by Apple.
Poor quality
Poor quality, and their lifetime warranty is definitely not lifetime. I don’t understand why they have a monopoly at the Apple Store. Avoid and buy a cheaper one.
Appalling quality and even worse customer service
If I could give 0 stars, I would.
I bought a screen protector for iPhone 16 pro. Two weeks later a crack appears across it. The phone has not been dropped or knocked - I have been extremely careful with it. Doesn’t even go in bags.
Customer service are useless - refusing to replace it, despite the fact that clearly the problem is the product quality.
£30 for a protector that didn’t even last more than two weeks is absolutely disgusting. The “warranty” they offer is an absolute joke.
Just save your money and buy a £5 from Amazon.
Bought a tempered glass screen…
Bought a tempered glass screen protector for my new iphone 16. After a short time noticed a crazing line on the adhesive side which appears pixelated. The phone has never been dropped. Asked for a replacement under warranty and they’re refusing.
DO NOT BUY REPLACEMENT SCREEN PROTECTOR …
Got to say I purchased a replacement screen protector through Apple when I spent over a grand on phone and watch was told for £35 I could have free screen protectors for life of phone my god don’t bother got to go through so much to get a replacement through Belkin easier to get a Amazon one I’ve had my phone nearly a year had a cracked screen protector for best part of the year as every time I try to get a new one I give up as can’t be bothered with the process absolute joke 😡
I bought the AirPod and it’s the worst…
I bought the AirPod and it’s the worst AirPod I bought. It doesn’t hold on the ears it’s too tactile so every 5 min the ear drops stops the music, you can’t hear nothing being on the phone, the AirPod is constantly falling from the ears
A real shitty things costing more than 40£
Doesn’t value the price. Honestly it’s the nightmare to listen music wit that things !!!!!!!!
Excellent service
After purchasing a glass from Apple in February, I dropped my phone and had 3 small damages to the edge of the screen. After a 10 minute chat with a Belkin agent, sending a photo of the screen and my receipt, a replacement glass is on its way
These products are overpriced and not…
These products are overpriced and not good, and definitely not worth the premium. Warranty on screen protector to start. No warranty - if it cracks, then its wear and tear, so what is the warranty for?? Also a battery pack, had to return one as it over heated, and the second one holds way less charge than the same capacity Anker battery pack I have. The charge seems fine, then simply falls off a cliff. Only good as an expensive desk charger with Magsafe. Look for others that will be better and cheaper. I also tried to leave a review on the Belkin website, about the products and customer service, and could not leave one there, despite asking customer support for a link - so they clearly are aware and not willing to have this sort of review on their website, so posting here!
The worse screen protector on the market, second to the worst customer service experience…
This company is criminal. I purchased a Belkin screen protector for my new IPhone 16 Pro Max totalling £40. After having the item a few weeks i noticed a crazing line along the screen and which gradually got worse over the next few days. Before you ask no I didn’t not drop it. I had been carrying it my suit pocket and noticed it when I took it out to answer a call. Not happy with my findings I emailed Belkin’s, so called customers services and did an online chat. Firstly, they made every excuse under the sun to say that I never purchased it directly, so I screenshot my invoice receipt as proof and then I was told I had been miss using it. If you call miss using your phone carrying it in an inside pocket of your suit? I guess I’m guilty. What a ridiculous statement… They didn’t even ask to see photos etc. I have now seen a lot of reviews with customers all having the same problem! So I strongly advise you not to waste your money on this poor quality screen protector that damages its self, as you receive no support whatsoever from Belkin…
Belkin Refused Warranty, Then Left Me With a £200 Phone Bill
I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had with Belkin. I purchased their glass screen protector, which is supposedly covered by warranty. Mine cracked and became unusable within less than a month of normal use — no drops, no accidents. When I contacted Belkin for a warranty replacement, they flat-out refused to honor it, despite clear evidence and the short timeframe.
I escalated the case to management, and after four days, I finally got a call back — which I unfortunately missed as I was at work. I immediately returned the call using the UK contact number listed on Belkin’s own website. There was no international dial code, and no warning about potential international call charges.
I was left on hold for 30 minutes, only to be charged almost £200 by my phone company for that single call.
This is completely unacceptable. Not only did Belkin refuse to stand behind their product, but they also exposed me to massive, undisclosed charges due to poor contact information and a lack of transparency. The lack of urgency, the refusal to take responsibility, and the financial cost I’ve incurred all add up to one thing: Belkin has the worst customer support I’ve ever encountered.
I will never buy from Belkin again, and I strongly urge others to think twice before trusting their so-called “warranty” or trying to get support. This company does not care about its customers — only your money.
Fantastic customer service
Fantastic customer service on replacing a defective power bank. I contacted them just looking for advice on whether it was possible to reset the device or if there was any advice on how to get it working again - instead they unprompted said it was covered by warranty. I submitted the receipt and some photos and within 3 days I have confirmation the replacement device is being shipped. Thank you Belkin!
Warranty policy is terrible
Warranty policy is terrible.
Ok. When I first wanted to request the warranty replacement, I had to spend over an hour on chat. Then the log in I was provided with for my return did not work, so I had to start a chat again to get the details of the return organised another way. Next, I was expected to mail the defective item at my own expense, approx $16. Now, I'm hearing that despite my return being submitted and received 2-3 weeks ago, I have to wait until it's back in stock then 5-10 business days for it to be mailed out. From the time I submitted the return item to the time I get the replacement it'll be around 6-8 weeks. That's terrible customer service and I won't be buying a belkin product again.
Screen protector replacement - I wish!
I registered my screen protector just under a year ago - the screen protector has sustained damage - when you register your product you go through the rigmarole of inputting model numbers etc. 10 months later you ask for a replacement you need photos! and the original receipt! If this was what was needed why isn’t this something you are asked to upload when you register! It’s a disgrace that apple are selling these products in store if the policy doesn’t follow through. Don’t bother registering they won’t do anything anyway!
It’s giving scammy
After cracking my screen and getting a replacement with Apple I contact Belkin for a replacement.
They said I need a picture of the broke screen, meaning I need to take a picture of my phone with my phone and of a screen I know longer had.
I explained this and was met with unhelpful staff. These products do not have an adequate information regarding how to replace them, meaning customers pay a higher cost with no return. Do not trust this company they will scam you or take your money
awful site
awful site, awful replacement experience for phone screen protector, needs loads of tedious input and support is not helpful
Belkin screen protectors are GARBAGE…
Belkin screen protectors are GARBAGE and a total SCAM. They sell through Rogers or Apple so they have the image of being upstanding but that’s just part of the scam. Mine broke in 3 places within 3 months and they say it’s not covered by warranty. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
Belkin’s screen protectors scam
Belkin’s iPhone screen protectors are a scam. They break like nothing (two have broken under normal usage in just 1-2 months of use). In the Apple Store they said that there was a life guarantee for this type of issues, but Belkin only agreed to change it once and came up with excuses the second time.
Not Worth it - Belkin’s Screen Protector Warranty Program
As a customer who purchased Belkin’s £34.95 screen protector through the Apple Store, I was initially reassured by their promise of unlimited replacements. However, my experience has proven that this warranty program is neither efficient nor customer-friendly.
When the screen protector cracked, I had to spend over 30 minutes dealing with Belkin's customer service just to request a replacement. This process included submitting photos of the damaged screen, my receipt, and other documentation to prove my eligibility. Following that, it took nearly two months for the replacement to arrive. During this extended waiting period, my phone was left vulnerable without protection, increasing the risk of damage to the actual screen. Out of necessity, I ended up purchasing a cheaper alternative in the meantime.
Once the Belkin screen protector finally arrived, I had it professionally installed by Apple. Shockingly, it cracked again within a week of normal use. When I reached out to Belkin to question the premature failure of the product, spending another 30minutes of my time, they responded by shifting the blame to Apple, stating:
“It seems there may have been an issue during installation, causing it to break easily… The Apple Store utilises a machine for applying screen protectors, so this matter should be addressed directly with them.”
When I asked Belkin for any evidence to support their claim, they avoided the question and instead shifted responsibility to the customer with:
“We suggest observing the installation process when the Apple Store representative sets up your product to ensure it is done accurately…”
This response is both disappointing and unprofessional. It places the burden of quality assurance and installation oversight onto the customer—something that should be Belkin's responsibility if they expect their product to perform reliably.
Ultimately, this warranty program is a frustrating and time-consuming experience that fails to deliver on its value. For £34.95, customers deserve better quality and support. I would strongly recommend not to buy this at Apple, and not to buy Belkin’s screen protectors. Instead, consider purchasing a more affordable and reliable product from Amazon and applying it yourself. You'll save time, money, and a great deal of hassle.
