Bank Rhode Island Transforms into Beacon Bank--Sadly.
Since Bank Rhode Island became Beacon Bank my experience has declined significantly. While the same staff is there, and they remain friendly and competent, the long phone wait times and a system that pushes callers toward the website since its inception, is very frustrating. My biggest complaint is the online platform, which is confusing, poorly designed visually, and not at all intuitive. Despite the upheaval that moving accounts entails, I am compelled to move to one of several nearby bank that are appreciated by their customers.
