Buyer Beware

Ordered a top that came with poor quality material plus the crouch, when snapped hung 5 extra inches. They will not provide a full refund and still after 3 weeks have not even given me the pittance they offered i.e. $100.80 vs. $121.10. Said I should have sent a picture after returning?
Poor quality, customer service is worthless. I will never buy BCBG again!!

Worst experience

Worst experience I’ve ever had shopping online. They were two weeks late to ship my item and still charged me express shipping even though they shipped it with normal shipping. They never responded to any of my emails and did not allow me to return even though the dress was unworn. Honestly, giving them 1 star seems too generous.

I placed an order on May 5th. After almost a month my order seemed shipped, but stuck. I send about four emails to their customer support, only to receive today (June 12) an email that my order has been refunded and returned. No other explanation. Really bad experience for such a high profile brand.

You'll never ben able to return anything, to judge by my experience.

I have a beautiful skirt by BCBGMAXAZRIA I bought in the 1990's I believe. I keep trying to use the company again, most recently to match the skirt I bought there. But the quality is just not there anymore. I bought something just before it went on sale and now my item shows up as "sale" not eligible for return. So I'm told it is ineligible for return, which should not be true. I don't think I can actually reach anyone to discuss it with them. Basically, the clothing isn't worth it, and you will never be able to return or exchange pieces. Go elsewhere for your clothing, and try someplace that has presence in a physical store.

Terrible Customer Service and Breach of UK Consumer Rights Act

Terrible service - quality not the same anymore, service terrible, they don't refund unless you chase and chase, ignore emails etc etc. One order took 2 months to deliver, I kept calling to chase, they refused to refund and insisted I keep waiting even though I have a right to cancel the order, in the end I returned most of the order, they then charged me £47 return fee! They tried to say I wasn't entitled to a refund as it clearly says on their website sales items cannot be returned. This is illegal - UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 says sellers are legally obliged to allow returns and offer refunds and it is illegal to mislead people about their rights (see below). It cost me over £80 in phone charges keep chasing all of this stuff and they wouldn't offer anything by way of compensation (I asked them to waive the return fee and they wouldn't, even though I still wouldn't have recovered my costs from the phone charges with this). I will never order from this company again and I will make a complaint to Trading Standards.

Information on BCBG website even after I informed them this was illegal:
All Last Look sale items are final sale and cannot be returned for refund or exchange. During promotions, all previously-reduced sale items are final sale.

From UK Gov website on Consumer Rights:

"Online, mail and phone order sales
Online, mail and telephone order customers have the right to cancel their order for a limited time even if the goods are not faulty. Sales of this kind are known as ‘distance selling’.

You must offer a refund to customers if they’ve told you within 14 days of receiving their goods that they want to cancel. They have another 14 days to return the goods once they’ve told you.

You must refund the customer within 14 days of receiving the goods back. They do not have to provide a reason."

"Customers have exactly the same rights to refunds when they buy items in a sale as when they buy them at full price."

"Penalties for displaying notices
It’s illegal to display any notice that deliberately misleads consumers or deceives them about their rights, for example a sign that says you do not accept returns or offer refunds."

BCBG has lost me! Bad quality, Bad service

I purchased two pair of dress pants and I didn’t realize they were final sale. When they arrived, I was not happy with the quality. The material was very cheap and they were not lined. I reached out to them because I’ve use to buy their clothing when I was in Uni. The quality was much better then. They told me that they could do nothing. I didn’t even mind a credit to perhaps purchase a few shirts. The customer service was very disappointing. I lost $200, but it’s a lesson learned and I will not purchase from them again. Their quality has gone down tremendous.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. They made you buy "sale" items for "reduced price", they lie to you, and dont accept returns, unless you send them picture of item. Items that they sell on "sale" are horrible quality. Customer Service is so bad, rude, disrespectful. Might as well call DMV. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! AVOID!!!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

I have been a long and faithful customer of BCBG but my recent experience ordering online from this company has been terrible. Out of two orders for 5 items placed between November to December I received only 1 item. One item I got a completely unrelated and incorrect item. The rest of my items “went into back order” shortly after my order was placed. I learned this only after emailing customer service several weeks after my initial order was placed when I still had not received my items or any kind of shipping notification. There was absolutely no communication from this company that my items had been canceled. Customer service takes weeks to respond and forget trying to call by phone. I would not order from this company again as the chances of actually receiving an item are slim. It is not worth the harassment.

I would give -100 star for this company if i can. The worst luxury brand that I ever encountered. I bought a dress online during BF sale for my engagement. I understand that they said it no refund no exchange. But it took too long to ship out my package and will not arrive on time for my engagement. Then i saw the same exact dress that in the store so I purchased it while my online order still processing (not shipped out yet). I contacted BCBG and they said they cannot cancel my order. Now what? I have exact 2 same dress. What is inflexible and stupid policy that your company have BCBG. I am not surprised if there is one day your company go bankcrupt and CLOSED FOR GOOD FOREVER AND EVER. Keep your stupid inflexible policy and then you will lose all your customers FOR GOOD. Horrible horrible company that I ever seen. PLEASE TRUST ME, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM BCBG. DO NOT TRUST THEIR SALE PROMOTION. I will not purchase anything from BCBG from now on. What is rediculous inflexible stupid policy. And one more thing, they treat customer like we mean nothing to them. BCBG, please remember that your company still on the business because of the customers who support you. Keep your stupid policy and you will lose all your customers through out the time. Terrible Customer Service

Sizing is off - customer service is non-existent. No understanding or willingness to work with customers. Do not waste your money - it is not worth it. I have never purchased from anywhere with such poor service. Not surprised to see all negative reviews on this company.

Unreliable company

Unreliable company. Since it was sold the quality and Customer service become very bad. I placed my order and never received it. Three weeks later they said that order was canceled. But they keep selling this merchandise for higher price. When company offer sale, previous prices go up. Such a scam...Never ever again...

They suck!

They suck!! Placed an order at 2:30 am, Called to cancel at 7:30 am… they told me they cannot cancel and I have to pay $9 to return a free shipping order valued over $1200. I spoke with supervisor and she gave me some BS that the order has been processed and no way will it can they cancel the order
5 hours later!!!
Will never order from them again…. Nor should you!!!

No response and bad sizing

I have emailed several times asking for a return authorization form as their sizing is not accurate and more on the large size. I wanted to return the item and purchase the top in a smaller size. They don't offer exchanges! The shipping return fee is extortionate and more than shipping the item on fast delivery to the UK cost. Their customer service is horrendous. All I want is the return authorization form, this wasn't included when shipped like majority of companies do. Their slogan is ' We make it our business to bring effortless glamour to your
wardrobe.' This is an absolute joke and not true. I've found this to be the most stressful online purchase experience I've ever had.

I would give this company a zero star…

I would give this company a zero star review if I could. I purchased an item and when I received it, it was damaged. I called the company was told that I should email them pics of item for refund. Never received an email from them. Called them back a few days later and was told the same thing again. When I sent the pictures I was told I could only get 30% off future purchase. I was put on hold for 25 minutes so they can listen to past conversations! I will not purchase from this company ever! Beware of their terrible customer service!!!

Deceptive Shipping Charges

Sleazy company, I should have read reviews before shopping for them. Every single item fit nothing like the description. I kept a couple of shirts and returned everything at my own expense since they don’t offer free returns. They then deducted from my return amount $18.00 for the original shipping charge to me! I wouldn’t have returned the items if they actually FIT normally like every other brand out there. No store returns. I’m out $35.00 for shopping at this horrible place. Avoid this company!!!

If I could give this company no stars

If I could give this company no stars, I would. I placed an order for one dress over 2 weeks ago and I am still waiting for the dress. The item supposedly shipped and has gone on a national tour apparently, because FEDEX has had that package go through 4 different states coming from New York. Horrible service, just horrible. Never, and I mean never again.
