I highly recommend Colette Chester’s she is so hardworking and supportive she is truly passionate about what she does and transparent. She has really committed herself to my case and continues to fight my corner she is very consistent and I love her no nonsense approach she doesn’t let anything fly over her head. Having her on my side has settled my anxiety and she has really gone above and beyond she also has good communication and always responds.

I cannot recommend Chowdhury highly enough. From the very beginning, he took the time to truly listen and understand my situation, which immediately put me at ease. His calm and reassuring manner made what could have been an incredibly stressful experience feel much more manageable.

Paul Dipre was beyond comprehension of his straight talking and ability to quantify the risks to us, he went in my opinion far beyond what I would expect. We spoke on Teams less than 24 hours before a three day trial and I honestly believe he did not sleep to understand a very obvious case to us, but a very complex situation to someone that had not lived through the nightmare we had lived for seven years. He then continued to both question and support us through the trial, acting in a rediculously professional manner as opposed to our opponents. Bad experience altogether. I was massively overcharged for drafting a letter and then the barrister didn’t even bother to post the original to me, just emailed me a copy, in spite of my requests.

I would not recommend. I wrote a review that was quite long and detailed. But barrister direct complained because I named the barrister who did a bad job and the barristers aid who was equally bad, so the review got removed. Here I am again.

Just be warned that its luck of the draw who you get, it didn't feel like the barrister wanted to help us but was more interested in getting off the phone (even though we paid what we thought was a high amount for 30-45 minutes £600), when I raised a complaint and requested a new barrister I was practically begged to give the guy another chance (via the barristers aid) and felt a bit bullied. I should have stuck to my guns because after the 2nd call I felt no better off.

As a side note I have seen plenty of complaints about the barrister we complained about on here but for some reason those reviews are still up.

I highly recommend Tina Villarosa as a barrister for financial hearings. She represented me at my final financial hearing, and I won my case as a litigant in person, defending myself in my second language. Most people, including a solicitor I consulted, thought my goal was unrealistic, but Tina was the only one who saw a real chance for success and helped me make it happen.
