purchase of replacement wind sensor
Called B&G to determine the proper wind sensor to replace my model 508 wind sensor and placed order for model 608 unit. Technical support rep was very helpful and product delivery was very prompt.

Cable for Ethernet to 5 pin could be slightly longer. Difficult to fit into my Zeus display. This is using a standard Edsen pedestal on a Catalina 36."

Have had several good experiences…
Have had several good experiences ordering direct from you guys but I wish you sold all your products direct. In addition to the Ethernet cables I purchased direct I needed a SonarHub, but you don't sell that direct. West Marine said it would take them a month to get one. Finally found one from another marine seller that sells online but what a hassle. Please just cut out the middlemen and sell all your stuff direct. Thanks.

Products are great, getting support online is impossible.
I really enjoy the products B&G makes. My wind sensor unfortunately died just outside of its warranty window. Trying to get support online is impossible. As someone with a very busy schedule, not being able to open a support ticket online is a non-starter. I ended up just buying new parts... Which is probably great for B&G, but is not a great way to get 5 star reviews.
UPDATE:
Started out as 3 stars... now it's down to 1. B&G replied to my original review on how to create a ticket... which I had to do less than a year later since my second sensor died! That was over a week ago and nobody has responded to my support ticket. I got tired of waiting, so I decided to call today. I've been on hold forever and my position in the queue has not changed. I went to the Facebook B&G users group and found similar experiences (some waiting over 2 hours for support after they were first in the queue). This is unacceptably poor support and I regret installing B&G equipment in my boat.

Network Issues with Zeus and Triton Displays
I am thoroughly impressed with the technical support provided by B&G. After re-installation of a couple of transducers, I was having trouble with their being recognized on the network. The person I spoke to talked me through every step of solving this problem and even stayed on the phone for an extra 5 -10 minutes while I went from my home (origin or call) to the boat so that I could enter the correct settings on the display menu. Problem solved --Thanks for excellent support!

Simplicity Needed

I find it funny that you are expecting vulgar language:)
I'm so far satisfied with the product more testing will tell better.
If I have a complaint it is that there are way too many after market adapters $ needed to make things work. My AWI needed a Simnet to NMEA adapters. My Halo Radar needs an adapter to match my Zeus 3s plotter. your NMEA cable length choices are 6' or 15' (that's just makes for spaghetti of extra wire).
Ether make them included, free or figure out how to make everything the same... But do make changes. Your competition already does.
