I ordered 25 cupcakes for my friend’s birthday and specified a date for delivery. I received a message that the cupcakes were going to arrive two days after my friend‘s birthday. I got on the chat with their customer service and was told oh no the order is actually gonna be delivered a day early I told them I specified the exact day. I wanted it delivered per their instructions on the website. They said they couldn’t guaranteed delivery on a given day. Maddening! Because it’s being delivered a day early I have to work at home instead of going to the office and change my schedule around because this company can’t do their job properly never ordering from this place again.

I wanted to add to these reviews regarding their deliveries. While the cupcakes are delicious and good quality, the delivery is a mess. I have bought these for shipping a few times, and each and every time despite me choosing a specific delivery date and paying premium for the shipping, they always ALWAYS arrive a few days later.

I ordered a delivery for a specific date. It was for a birthday. It came a day late. I called and left messages and emails and no one responded . Their customer service is horrible. They said the late delivery was due to a snow storm. There was no snow where the order was to be delivered at. I requested a refund and they offered only the shipping will be refunded. I will NEVER order from this company and I hope no one else will!

The cupcakes are the size of a US quarter coin, very small, although tasty. Nicely packaged although it would take 5-7 of the mini cupcakes to make a normal sized cupcake. Beware when they say mini, its ity-bity mini.

NEGATIVE ONE, IF I COULD. LIKE OTHERS ON HERE, MY PAID FOR AND REQUESTED DELIVERY DATE WAS MONDAY. FEDEX TRACKING YESTERDAY (MONDAY) SHOWED TUESDAY. NOW IT SHOWS WEDNESDAY.
IF YOU CAN'T MANAGE THE OPERATION, GET OUT OF THE BUSINESS INSTEAD OF SCREWING PEOPLE OVER, MAKING FRUSTRATED CUSTOMERS, AND WASTING THEIR TIME. YOU CANNOT REACH AN AGENT BY PHONE (LEAVE A MESSAGE). EMAILS GET NO RESPONSE. AND CHAT PUTS YOU IN A QUEUE WHERE I'VE BEEN 15, 16 AND 19. CHAT WAIT TIMES? THEY SAY 30+ MINUTES. THE ONE TIME I CLOCKED IT IT WAS 40 MINUTES. PEOPLE ORDER THINGS FOR A SPECIFIC TIME FOR A REASON, NOT TO BE AT THE WHIM OF A RETAILER WHO CAN'T GET THE JOB DONE. OH, AND IT WAS $600 WORTH OF PRODUCT.

We were looking for a unique gift to send our parents out of state and my wife came across Baked by Melissa. My parents couldn't have been happier. They said it was a wonderful surprise, nicely boxed and a delicious assortment of fun cupcakes. Highly recommend.

Ordered for delivery on Christmas Eve. Got email stating that they would be late and we would be issued a refund for them as part of their stellar customer service. Sent emails asking where the cupcakes were, zero response. They created a label but the cupcakes were never sent out. Finally got someone to chat with and their response was that the email was automated and that we were issued a full refund. Will never buy from them again.

Never buy from them! Delivery was days late even though I paid for 2 day delivery. They arrived AFTER Christmas. Customer service never responded to correct order even though I contacted them within 5 minutes after submitting order. Multiple calls and email left unanswered. Only reply was to offer 10% off next order. Product way overpriced for the quantity. Plus the Quality was very mediocre. We just kept them and bought something else for the recipient. Horrible. Don’t even deserve one star.

I have ordered before with no problem. On this order I mistakenly wrote the wrong number on the address. I tried calling, talking to a chatbot, emailing, messaging for a few days. Two weeks ago. Then I looked back and the address was fixed, nobody let me know!!! Today it was delivered to the wrong house!!! It was my house. I had to deliver it myself, I should at least get back the delivery charge!!! But I won’t because they don’t let you know anything!!!! I will never buy from this company again!!!!!

I can't provide feedback on the actual cupcakes yet. But I will say their operations and customer service are atrocious. I scheduled an order to be delivered to my daughter at college on her birthday. Baked by Melissa totally ignored my scheduled delivery date and sent them a week early. I specifically chose the day before my daughter's birthday for delivery so she would feel special even though she's far from home. Getting your birthday cupcakes a week early just doesn't hit right. And I reached out to their customer service via email, chat and phone for 4 consecutive days. No response at all.

The website refers to these as mini cupcakes. I've bought mini cupcakes at the store. These are a third of the size. These are cupcake bites, not mini cupcakes. I could have bought 50 full size cupcakes from a cupcakes store for the same price. I had these shipped. Website does not give idea of true size. Should have researched reviews before purchase.

THIS COMPANY IS VERY ANNOYING!!! I didn’t even place an order with them and they are constantly constantly constantly texting me. I have deleted them, called them, block them. Everything you could possibly think of and they still are blowing up my phone.
Because how annoying they are I will never order from them and always pre-warn people to stay away. Every time they text me I will continue to give a terrible review until they stop….. I can play your game too Melisa, you’re a pain in the butt!!!!!
I wish i had checked reviews before ordering . I ordered cupcakes to be delivered for an event today and NOTHING. Tried calling and left a message for a call back- NOTHING . Sent an email and got an automated response that I should get a reply in 48 hrs- which does not really help me. I imagined that they were better than this. Will not order again. I can understand a delay but if you cannot even respond to the phone call- that is a problem!
I placed an order on October 17th for 200 cupcakes. I selected the "pick a date" option, as I have done in the past, and noticed that there was no calendar available for me to select the date. I contacted customer service to make these changes, no response. I then received an email on October 20th stating that my cupcakes were on the way. I immediately contacted customer service, left several messages, stayed on the line and was still forced to hang up because the que automatlcally placed me to get a call back. I also attempted to contact a live agent via the website and her only advice was to freeze the 200 cupcakes. There was no attempt to stop the delivery, which had not been picked up by the courier at the time of my outreach. It's unfortunate that the customer service is so poor and I do not intend on purchasing from them again. Not that it matters because they clearly do not value their customers.
I ordered almost $200 worth of cupcakes for a celebratory event at our office. I ordered the cupcakes to be scheduled and on the day of "delivery", they never showed up and still today over a month, I still have yet to receive a refund. No responses to calls, live chats, nor any communication from them regarding a refund since they didn't fulfill my order. Just the name of BAKED BY MELISSA makes me cringe regardless of how good people say they are.
