Backmarket offers a great panel of reused devices.
However, replacing screws by glue and refusing to replace a battery even when paid for isn't what a call a good reconditioning.
When you ask for a repair because of the unsable battery, you will never win. Even if, at first, they tell you that the warranty will be applied. At least, I have some components assembled together to form an unusable phone.

Horrible customer care
Horrible customer care. I ordered a device, DHL wasn't able to complete the delivery and the only way to get informations on where to recover the parcel is by accessing through an email address used by Back Market for the delivery. It is however impossible to contact BackMarket.fr as the online form simply doesn't work, and they do not provide any other way of communicating with them. Please avoid at all costs

The insurance they sell with the phone is a fraud - they won't accept to repair the phone using the excuse that the description of the accidental damage is insufficient. Buy the phone - don't buy the insurance!

No complaints process, shocking company
Tried to make a formal complaint only to be advised that there is no complaints process, there is no way of complaining unless you write WRITE not email, a letter to them in France. What a terrible company
53433615 order number. No way it seems of contacting you directly as I have got nowhere with your Customer Service team (Sacid)
Trade in - inexcuseable for me to reject the offer from refurbisher, tell the refurbisher & customer service directly to be then advised that I cannot have my device back & I have to accept an offer half of what was suggested.
I either would like my device back or the full amount that was given to me which no explanation was given as to why half was offered. I have lots of photos, all of which demonstrate that the phone was in the condition that I stated.
