too many requests for a review negate the entire process of buying on BackMarket.

I am beyond satisfied with my purchase from backmarket! In fact, I have been purchasing Products from Backmarket since 2020 and every device from phones to laptops has been delivered quickly, in like-new shape, has never had any issue with the way the device operates, I’ve never had to make a return before for malfunctions and every device has lasted years. I’ve gotten electronics for myself and as gifts for others and I recommend using Backmarket for all electronic needs, they are so good that there is almost no reason to buy anything new when you can get a perfectly good device from Backmarket for a great price. They’re excellent. 10/10

My daughter purchased a computer about 1 year ago from Back Market. When I was looking for a computer that didnt break the bank she told me about hers. I did several searches about Back Market and saw many good reviews. My Dell laptop is great. Condition is flawless. I didnt buy one in perfect condition but I can't see where any blemishes or scratches may be. Im very satisfied. Back Market send a deliver notice email as well as a follow up email inquiring if I had any questions or concerns. All was good. It was packaged securely and shipping delivery was less than 2 weeks.

I purchased a MacBook listed in "excellent" condition. The device itself is solid — no complaints there. But tucked in the box was a generic third-party charging cable and power block. No MagSafe.
When I went to Back Market's own store to replace it, there it was — MagSafe cables sold à la carte. If they didn't profit from selling the accessories separately, I'd chalk it up to an oversight. But they do, which makes shipping a cheap third-party charger with a premium-listed laptop feel less like a mistake and more like a business model.
I contacted their support team — genuinely friendly and responsive — but the resolution wasn't there. So here I am.
Buy the laptop if you want, but go in knowing "excellent" condition apparently doesn't include the charger that should come with it. And budget for the upsell.

I ordered a MacBook Air M4 from this website, and I went for the Excellent condition- I honestly cannot recommend Back Market enough. My new MacBook Air still functions perfectly, alongside everything else being in place as they need to be!! Seriously— if you’re looking to save money while shopping electronics, Back Market is your friend. :))))

Don’t sell your phone to them. I send BackMarket my iPhone for them to give me an estimate on how much they could offer me for my iPhone. I decided to not sell them my phone and when I got my iPhone back from them my phone flash light was missing from the back of my iPhone. I reach out to them and they told me that this is how they got it and that I was responsible about my iPhone.

The process of buying and sending my old phone back for an excellent price to trade in. Saves trying to dispose of the old phone.

All worked smoothly. Very happy with purchase and instructions for changeover from SIM card to E-SIM. Great company will recommend to friends and family.

Only small point is the packaging for the phone could improve. I realize they are keeping costs down but better packaging with brand name would show more professionalism. Just a thought.

Yet another great product and ordering experience with Back Market! I purchased an iPhone 13 mini to replace my broken iPhone 12 mini—I’m a big fan of smaller phones.

The price was completely fair, and the ordering process was quick and convenient. The phone arrived in excellent condition, exactly as advertised, and has worked perfectly since I set it up. I’ll continue using Back Market as my primary source for quality refurbished electronics.

I bought an iPhone 15 listed in Excellent condition. Back Market defines excellent condition as “no scratches” on screen. The phone I received had multiple, highly visible scratches on the screen. I spoke with a customer service rep and sent her photos and a video of the new phone. She agreed it didn’t even meet their quality standards for a phone in fair condition. Back Market listed the same model phone, in fair condition for about $100 less than what I paid. I then spoke with a supervisor who said he would contact his team and the seller, and then let me know within 2 business days how much of a refund they could issue me. At this point, I had already spent more than 5 hours with my cellular provider and Apple to transfer my data and service to the new phone. The supervisor never followed up with me. Three days later, I talked to another service agent who said they could only offer me a $50 refund. This is absolutely unacceptable. Back Market claims that devices in their marketplace go through a rigorous, multipoint quality inspection. My receipt even has a line item charge for quality assurance! When I looked at the refurbisher’s reviews on Google, it was clear that the company, Kiss Electronics, has a history of misrepresenting their products. Back Market claims to offer “best in class refurbishment” and “only use trusted refurbishers”. They should not use refurbishers who scam customers AND they should have offered to fairly compensate me for the difference in price compared to the same product in fair condition. I had been a repeat customer, but I will never conduct business with Back Market again after the way they mishandled this situation.

I ordered the premium and it was flawless. Like new. It was delivered in 2 days. I will get my next phone and a laptop from Back market. I'm very impressed and have been telling anyone who will listen about this company.
