Unreliable

Unreliable.
Got Cyber Insurance as an additional uppdate to my professional insurance . Thought would have a better peace of mind against the Cyber attacks in case it happens to me or my business.
I was wrong, Axis Reinsurance refused my claim after a Cyber attack that happened to me. The claim denial was vaguely explained bringing out confusing policy terms.
They will take your yearly premium , but when it comes to your claims, they will make all possible not to pay it off. They will advertise that you are fully protected, when in reality you are not. Don't rely on them for your business or any other personal coverage.
They just want your premium, you are not really covered for anything and they will make it clearly know when your claim arrives into their mailbox.

avoid at all costs

avoid at all costs. this company tries everything possible to avoid taking responsibility when you need to make a claim.
for context i made my 1st claim in 20 years of travel insurance for some stolen ski's. received the claim form and the 1st impression you get is 2 pages of them asking for any other credit card company or insurances you have that they can share or offset responisibility! when i did try and make a claim they refused to pay for our lift passes when our ski's were stolen because the lift passes themselves had not been stolen. they then wouldnt cover the cost of all the stolen ski's despite me being the policy holder making the booking with the rental company for them all. they then refused to pay for the replacement costs of the ski's totalling £1000 because of yet another technicality. basically you are paying this company a fee to their admin staff to find a loophole so they dont have to pay up. dreadful experience

I find it hard to imagine a worse…

I find it hard to imagine a worse insurer to deal with, a simple claim arose in a rented property in the South of England, following protracted discussion they claimed the property had not been adequately maintained - even though almost £10,000 had been spent in the past year. The problem related to flooring under a bath, which had been replaced ten years ago, at which time the flooring was fine. Do they really want us to lift up baths and check flooring every six months? I will take them on, initially via the regulator and then in court. The irony is, they used the same loss adjustor to refuse another claim 80 miles away in London relating to a roof. Clearly, it might help to take out insurance against the insurance this company offers. Avoid.

Terrible response time

I have a landlord's insurance policy on a house. I recently had to make enquiries on a potential claim but have had 0 response and communication from the claim handlers. It seems that they are unwilling to even tell me whether I can make a claim on my issue or not.

Redirection Charge is a Scam

If you are getting mails from a P.Richardson or R.Santos offering to help you recover funds you've lost to this company, it's a scam. S9S lawyer/NS2B forms/redirection charges also indicates that it is a scam.

Tried very hard to wriggle out of claim

Tried very hard to wriggle out of an insurance claim, demanding all sorts of documents and then stating, bizarrely, they didn't cover "one way trips" - ie outgoing flights - which is bonkers. Who's ever heard of a travel insurance provider that doesn't cover outgoing flight cancellations (due to medical necessity)? Won't be using them again.

Refused to pay out the fees to…

Refused to pay out the fees to investigate a leak despite the fact that the policy clearly states that this is covered, their reason is that the leak did not originate from a pipe, This is hindsight information that is why the source of the leak was investigated!!!
Their complain handler was very patronising and had decided to find a reason not to pay out before he heard my reasons.
I referred to the Ombudsman and complained to the insurance broker for recommending them, avoid at all cost because they will find a reason not to pay out!

This company is involved in a tangled web of inter-company relations amounting in a cycle insurance policy by "Assetsure". Assetsure is a trading name of Hildon Park Ltd and they appear to be "claim administrators". So neither insurers or underwriters. There is also a company call Axis Managing Agency Ltd involved too. Perhaps a UK arm of Axis Capital?

Anyway, they have poorly handled a claim against them and are refusing to pay out the full claim amount when they are blatently liable. They have dragged it out and made my life hell.

AVOID!

Probable scam attempt

Someone called me, speaking only in russian, claiming I have created an account there, which I have not, and did not answer my questions how I can delete "my account". I don't know if these callers are just using the Axis Capital name, or they have stolen my data somewhere, but please check on this.

They treat you horribly, and it's not ok!

The U.S. insurance system is far from perfect, but this Bermuda-based company who mostly operates in the U.S. out of their Chicago and New Jersey offices takes the icing on the cake as they, along with some of their U.S. insurance broker companies they work with will treat you horribly after-sales and not honor their pre-sales written word/contract. The fact that they can do this speaks volumes to how much we need to fight for a better system for the good of the people, not corporations (corporations are not people!). I can only hope they learn from feedback and instill some integrity and customer service into their practices in the future as it's not ok to treat customers this way.

Axis Capital Group, INC. CA Review

I am writing to make a formal complaint against the Axis Capital Group, Inc. located at 4640 Admiralty Way, Suite 500 Marina Del Rey, CA 90292. On my first contact with this company the as soon as we moved to CA from Jakarta Indonesia, they were impressive. They were the only one from many calls I received from many mortgage companies that was considerate and not pushy. We went through the pre-approval process which now I see was nothing more than pulling credit.

After we had a pre-approval we made a proposal on a home and that is when it all went to the waste. Here we are 5 weeks after they received the signed offer letter from the seller and me however we still don't have anything other than great frustration. No approval but no decline either totally up in limbo. I believe they have forgotten about us.

The underwriter has asked for the same documents many times even after we have delivered them with what they have asked, kind of like they are very sluggish to look at all the docs that are in the emails.

We are now in an awful limbo trying to think out if we should just walk away and lose our escrow money since we are way out of our 10 day cooling off period. To sum up, at this time I would obey them to whatever company they went to nevertheless I wouldn’t refer my worst enemy to this company that is either brutally short-staffed to handle what they are taking in or just down right impolite and rude for wasting someone’s time because they don’t want to do their jobs or maybe they are a scam, I don’t know.

Trust me, I am warning you, I know how hard it is to take in more than you can do with being understaffed but that is where you put a priority on stuff based on when it came in. I work for a dealership in the service department and I don’t think I have ever seen anything this bad before.

Axis Capital, Bermuda: Health Insurance False Promises to Indonesians created many complaints

Up till now for all the numerous healthcare schemes that have begun at district and provincial levels, the general image is one of failing health pointers and facilities through the country. A 2008 World Health Organization report found that decentralization has ran to the erosion of a once incorporated health system, extremely discouragement the worth of disease surveillance and public health programs. Diseases like polio and leprosy, once under control, are resurfacing and the districts are not capable to attend to these or other complicated diseases like avian influenza.

AXIS Capital is a group of global insurer and reinsurer, providing clients and distribution partners with a broad range of specialized risk transfer products and services, i.e. health insurance that serves a host of industries and diverse coverage needs through our operating subsidiaries and branch offices in Bermuda, Australia, Canada, Europe, Latin America, Singapore and the United States is in one of the Indonesians who are given false promises.

There are many complaints. Health experts are doubtful of local programs that are presented by district officials with slight knowledge or experience in the health sector. The occurrence that many plots are intended chiefly to entice votes frequently means that they do not match the community’s complex health requirements. And some regions are stressed to handle the costs. In East Java, where the government once agitated for regional administrations’ right to implement local programs, healthcare services are overwhelmed and underfunded. In 2010, the program was seriously in debt, with a budget distribution of just Rp50 billion (a little over $US 5 million) and costs count Rp112 billion. This type of blow-out is not unusual. Frequently it occurs for the reason that the poor health infrastructure may not be able to deal with the unexpected spike in demand that comes once services are proposed for free. Sometimes the problem comes when officials wrongly (and often corruptly) recognize residents as ‘poor’ and therefore qualified for free services, leading to overloading of the system.

Actually, health insurance may shortly no longer be the vote getter that regional politicians have come to depend on. In 2012 the national parliament passed the bill on Social Security Administering Bodies (BPJS), carrying significant parts of SJSN into result. The new bill principally recentralizes social security administration and makes one non-profit body responsible for implementing a nation-wide health insurance program for every Indonesians, counting the poor and individuals working in the informal sector. In theory, all the local programs will now be folded into this nationwide scheme. The uncertain starts of universal social protection, even though an Indonesian welfare state, are now noticeable.

To be certain, Indonesia’s system of public health is tormented by profound difficulties, numerous made worse by the policy incoherence that has come with political democratization and decentralization. In the regions, commoners still lament the worth of the healthcare they can get in the public system and people who can have enough money to go to private providers or even overseas. Nonetheless in many places, moreover, it’s now stress-free to find people who express with astonishment and enjoyment at the point that they or family members have been treated without paying a thing.
