The Axis M-3085V should be discontinued…

The Axis M-3085V should be discontinued or redesigned. It does NOT accept any brand of any patch whatsoever. There is literally no force of nature that will cause a patch cable to lock into the port, period, full stop, end of story. The people who decided this camera should be put to market should lose their jobs and be forced to compensate every tech who struggled at the top of a ladder, hemorrhaging labor hours, just to plug in this absolute abomination of a camera. I’m an hour deep and 6 different brands of patch cables down. What an absolute shit show Axis communications must be to allow this garbage to be sold. I sincerely hope the parties responsible suffer endlessly for all time.

Flawed intercom and bad support.

My experience with Axis products has unfortunately been a very bad one. I chose the company because I thought it was a professional company. Well, I were wrong!
In the beginning with synny days and no wind, the products were really good, but the product is not working when there is a little windy or it is or has been raining due to design flaw, but the only thing i were told by support were this is an exposed area try to cover it with a weather house. The camera is working perfectly hence 2 stars instead of 1.
I contacted support, but they didn't deal with the problem, they just told me that:
"I have discussed with our product specialist and the I8016-LVE intercom placement is very exposed to the wind and water at this specific site.

Would recommend to add something similar for the intercom as well.

When it comes to the audio level, increasing the gain will lift the voice, but as you know it will also raise the noise from the wind.
If raising the input gain (more than current 12dB), the noise cancellation might help more, but it will cut off some part of the wind/voice as well."
The quality of the support and the intercom has a lot of potential for improvement and I would not recomend to buy anything from Axis if they do not change the way their customer support works.

Unfortunately a bad experience

My experience with Axis products has unfortunately been a very bad one. A few years ago I bought a couple of Axis cameras. I chose the company because I thought it was a professional company. Well, I was wrong!
In the beginning, the products were really good, but before the warranty expired, the products simply broke. They had to be sent back and repaired. No problem as far as it was during the warranty. Shortly after the warranty expired, the same problem happened. So we had to send them back and have them repaired. The cameras worked more or less well for a year. They failed more and more often and then now, after about a year, the same problem as always.
I contacted support, but they didn't deal with the problem at all, they just told me that I had to have it repaired and that that is a big investment. The prices for a repair are so high that I could get two new cameras from another company. The quality of the support and the cameras definitely has a lot of potential for improvement and I would never buy anything from Axis again and would not recommend it to anyone!
