I bought a car from a dealer who sells vehicles on Autotrader uk. The dealer basically sold me a car that didn’t work. He had the car back to do checks before he gave me the refund. He isn’t paying the refund , they still have the car. I’m having to take them to court to try and get my funds back.
I keep leaving reviews on Autotrader and they keep removing them! So this dealer who is a scammer (Clent Cars of forge trading estate Lye)also call themselves
( 8motorsgroup) have got perfect 5star reviews. When they are infact selling cars that do not work as described!!! Trader should be ashamed!

Easy to place the advert and lots of great features

After placing my advert, my car could not be found searching SDV8, or SD V8. I contacted Autotrader. They made the car searchable using SD V8, this put the car in amongst over 56 other cars. An SDV8 search only showed 12 cars. I asked Autotrader to adjust the advert and place my car amongst the 12 cars. They claimed there were no cars showing on a SDV8 search and that my advert was correct. I sent them the link showing the 12 cars, they claim they cannot place my car with the other 12. I'm paying them to advertise my car the way I want it advertising/worded, I will not be dictated to and be told that's how it is, we can't change it. What company selling cars online is unable to adjust an advert for the paying customer? I've just place SDV8 in the advert itself, and it now shows with the other 12 cars. There has been over 20 emails with a Carlos, who failed to tell me to just add SDV8 to the advert. This person has no clue what he is doing. I will never use Autotrader again.

Clear and easy-to-navigate website. Lots of help and intuitive to create an advert. Good communication and updates throughout the process. I found the information on how to avoid scammers particularly helpful.
