Worst ever

They were selling me a car, that was not inspected and did not pass the inspection. Seller told me that they do not have check lists. When refusing to buy, seller blocked me.

With first car I was trying to buy, other seller offered me less from my car than their automated system. When I told him about it, he did not reply to my message.

So never here again.

Can’t recommend BASSADONE Tampere

Can’t recommend BASSADONE Tampere, the worst customer service ever… my car was at service over 2 month.
3 times promised my car ready, 3 weeks to get the part what was needed, that didn’t work, they didn’t get the parts, and never called me, I had to call them I hear about the progress.
After 2 months I finally got my car, again they promised on Monday, service from 12.00, estimated that it will take 5 hours… ok so sorry again, you can get your car on Thursday, and I had to call.
Then I got my car, then odometer was flashing, meaning that something is not correct, nor not connected correctly.
I called them om on Monday, they promoto call back…… never did!
I call them again next Monday, same again they promised to call back…. And again never dig.
Now it is week 3, and j just called them up again, and they promised to call back.
Absolutely amazing bad customer service.
So my advise is, don’t use this company, unless you absolutely has to.

Terrible experience

I am writing this review so that other customers understand what they may be exposed to when problems arise.

I purchased a Renault Kadjar from Auto Bassadone Helsinki. The car drove perfectly during the test drive, but after delivery everything went wrong.

I was handed the car with:

a flat tyre,

missing hub-centric rings,

missing TPMS sensors (despite being told they were installed),

severe vibration at highway speeds,

and a constant TPMS warning.

I was reassured by the dealer that the car was safe to drive and told to “reset the TPMS and drive home”. I then had to drive almost 3 hours in fear, with heavy vibration and warning lights on, without any emergency contact or support over the weekend. In 18 years of driving across several European countries, I had never feared for my safety like this.

It later turned out that:

the winter tyres should never have been installed,

critical parts were missing,

the TPMS sensors were never installed at all,

and I was misled into believing the system was “confused”.

After multiple failed repair attempts (10+ in visits in total in 6 weeks), further serious issues appeared:

recurring vibration,

stalling and hesitation at low speeds,

power loss,

abnormal engine temperature after a timing belt replacement,

and finally a gearbox fault.

The car eventually broke down completely and had to be towed.

While the technical issues were serious, the most concerning part was the management’s behaviour once things escalated.

The sales manager:

repeatedly downplayed safety concerns,

stated that the car was “drivable” one day before it completely failed,

openly complained about the cost of providing a replacement car,

delayed responses for days,

refused to propose solutions,

and tried to shift responsibility back to me for problems caused by their own arrangements.

After the deal was finally cancelled, I was blamed for not returning summer tyres that were left behind when the car was towed from a different city — even though I immediately informed them when I noticed, stored the tyres safely, and offered pickup. Instead of resolving this professionally, I was told I was “not loyal” and criticised for leaving an honest Google review of my experience. This felt like an attempt to guilt or pressure me rather than address the facts.

Eventually, the sale was cancelled and my money was refunded, which confirms that the car was not fit for delivery, but this only happened after weeks of stress, fear, and constant follow-ups on my side (since they didn't once contact me on their own and kept me in the dark during the entire time).

Mistakes can happen.
What matters is how a company handles them.

In my case:

safety was compromised,

communication was poor,

responsibility was deflected,

and customer rights were treated as an inconvenience.

I cannot recommend Auto Bassadone Helsinki to anyone who values safety, transparency, and professional conduct when things go wrong.
