Must use

A complicated move made very stress free by Aussie. From the office staff coordinating (I dealt with Chloe) and the 2 guys who came. Very polite, friendly, funny and professional. Even went the extra mile when they saw me struggling with a static bike. 10/10 experience

Fantastic service

Very happy to have chosen Aussie Man & Van for our removal. They were very responsive since the first enquiry and managed to book our removal even with only one week notice. On the day of our move Aurelian and Henry had been absolutely fantastic! They arrived on time, which was essential as we were part of a chain and we must have vacated our flat by the agreed time. They had been super efficient, polite and professional going above and beyond. I will surely recommend Aussie Man & Van to anyone who needs removal services and will definitely use them again in the future.

Great experience, would use again

We were moving from West London to East London. The booking experience was straightforward and the team were very helpful and answered the questions I had ahead of the move. On the day the crew turned up on time and were polite, friendly and efficient. We had a drop off at storage on the way to the destination which was handled easily. The location we were moving to too had a complicated drop off process, but the crew identified a more efficient way and talked it through with us - which worked much better. The unloading was completed quickly and without fuss. All in all we had an excellent experience and would definitely use Aussie again!

Great service and no long waits

A few issues with pricing but Lauren jumped in and dealt with them very swiftly. Were able to agree dates within a week which was great not having to give loads of notice. Would recommend!

I consulted almost a dozen companies before booking these guys and I’m so glad I went with them. They were the most affordable annd highly rated. Incredible value for money. The booking process was easy, the two guys who moved me were super lovely and incredibly efficient, got it done in less than the time I was quoted. Highly recommend!

Brilliant service from start to finish

Brilliant service from start to finish. Booking was easy, Sandor and Zsolt (the removal team) turned up early, very positive and friendly throughout. Couldn’t do enough to help, everything was no bother. Cracked on from the first minute onwards and didn’t stop all day.

I used this company for two moves, five months apart. From the office-based staff who answered first enquiries and provided the quote, to the guys who actually did the moving, they were impressive. very professional, very clear and straight. Exceptional Removal

This service was exceptional! My partner and I were so last minute with packing and we immediately found a slot for removal. Alina was amazing in arranging the quote and booking the removal service. Whenever I had a question, she was very punctual at answering and providing me with clarification to any questions I had. The day of the removal was amazing and went by smoothly. They carried each box with care and even took them up to the third floor without the lift. It was quick, secure, and very efficient! Would definitely consider and recommend Aussie Man and Van to anyone moving!

Not trustworthy - "bait and switch"

I recently organised a packing and removal service with Aussie. I was recommended their services by a friend so trusted their approach.

I'm going to start with the cons I'm afraid: (i) Despite sending photos of the items to be packed, including detailed dimensions of the larger items for removal, I was quoted one van and provided only 5 boxes for packing on the day. This was clearly incorrect, not least because the van sent was fairly small and I had provided detailed dimensions of all the large furniture and sports equipment for relocation, in addition to all the books which needed packing. I also specifically talked about wardrobe boxes which were not provided when the team arrived. The team lead did a good job of moving things along (together with this second in charge) but this obviously caused delays. UPDATE: I have been told that the photos presented were not correct. It is unclear to me what level of detail is required to satisfy the removers who put themselves out as professionals. This seems to me to be a classic "bait and switch" tactic which allows them to charge unexpected sums on the unsuspecting customer on the day. (ii) On moving day, we were told to keep certain items separate so that the movers will not pack those (items such as personal belongings and documents). We did so with the understanding that the movers will not go into / pack items in that area (as agreed). However, during the packing and without us knowing, a mover went in and went through our things to look for an item he believed was accidentally packed in the boxes (which he spent most of his time searching for by unpacking / repacking boxes while the other team members continued to pack items). This is a security issue and it simply shouldn't have happened. (UPDATE: the company now alleges that the person was looking for an asthma pump. When we discussed with him on the day, he very clearly explained that there was nothing urgent in the bag, but for his keys, his work utility knife and his vape. The current state of facts is completely new. If it had been an emergency, we obviously would have escalated the issue. It is unreasonable for a provider to expect a customer to be escalating these services when the whole job was clearly delayed and they were assisting with packing instead of relying on the paid for service on the day). (iii) We were relocating from an area where parking inspectors operate. We were issued penalty notices which I understand I would have to pay. However, when I asked for the notices after the removal was completed, I was told that I could not be provided with the penalty notices but that Aussie would challenge the fines so it would be fine (we had a good case because we were clearly moving house). Instead of providing any information on that, I was billed the full amount of the fine PLUS VAT about a week later because Aussie alleges that they paid the invoice as a "service". This is blatantly incorrect and I should have been informed that this would occur - I was essentially denied the ability to challenge the fine and also charge another penalty. I note that when I asked for details of how they challenged the penalty, I had no response. UPDATE: I was told by Aussie that the charge paid in this instance would have been more than to organise parking with the suggestion that I should accept this charge. (iv) Aussie offers to collect the boxes and packaging after you unpack. I requested this days ago and haven't had a follow up (because I suspect it's because I asked a question about why they charged VAT on a penalty notice). UPDATE: I still do not have a collection time arranged and suspect that I won't be. (v) I am reviewing their invoice and can spot that I have been overcharged for boxes used (UPDATE: I was overcharged more more than double the use of the large boxes as well as a wardrobe box. Their position is that "you signed the job sheet" and therefore that is what it is. Note that if you were to interrogate the job sheet you would have to be charged the hourly rate so it is a pure "bate and switch" with this company). The alleged "refund" is to expect a customer to still pay for boxes they have not used (and does not include the VAT charged). This is not a "compromise".

PROS: as above, the team leader and the second in charge worked hard and I do appreciate their efforts on the day (which I noted). However, the "investigations" have since come out with pure lies which has led me to believe that this company is genuinely dishonest. Others may have had better experiences, but I would not recommend their services at all.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are genuinely sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. We take all reviews seriously and would like to clarify the points raised.

The quotation was prepared based on the photos and information provided prior to the move. While the images showed a small wardrobe suggesting the need for one to two wardrobe boxes, it became clear on the day that the photos did not represent the full scale of the items to be moved, including additional contents requiring more packing materials. To accommodate this unexpected increase, we arranged for additional packing materials and sent an extra crew member at no additional charge for part of the day. Our team worked to adapt quickly so the move could continue with minimal disruption.

During the packing process, a medical item belonging to a crew member was mistakenly packed into a box. We apologise that this error happened. The crew member spent a short period attempting to locate it. At no point was there any intention to search through personal belongings beyond this specific issue, and the customer was present on site throughout the move. No concerns were raised with us by phone or email on the day, and had they been, we would have addressed them immediately.

The job sheet, which details the materials used, was reviewed and signed at the end of the job. Our crews count materials carefully, and we rely on customers to review and confirm the job sheet before signing. While we maintain that the recorded materials were correct, we offered a partial refund as a goodwill gesture.

As stated in our quotation terms, it is the customer’s responsibility to arrange suitable parking for the removal vehicle. On the day, no legal parking was available close to the property, and the only safe option was to park on double yellow lines, which resulted in a PCN. The PCN was incurred while providing a VAT-able removal service. Under HMRC VAT Notice 700, we are legally required to apply VAT when recharging such costs. This treatment has been confirmed by our auditors and cannot be altered.

We apologise for the delay in arranging the collection of used boxes and packaging. This was not intentional, and we regret that this follow-up was slower than expected.

We are sorry that the overall experience left you feeling dissatisfied. Your feedback has been taken on board, particularly regarding clearer verification of pre-move information and ensuring customers fully review documentation before completion. While VAT treatment on parking charges cannot be changed, we will continue to improve communication to avoid misunderstandings in future.

January 2026 again!

January 2026 - booked again! 😊

I really must give a huge shout out to Niamh for once again assigning an amazing team to help me with my home move. It was absolutely reassuring to have booked Aussie Man & Van yet again after my 8 months stay. Niamh has been phenomenal from the first time I spoke to her, and after the smooth and efficient move I just had to book them again. Their prices are fair, and they are just very upfront and professional. Their meet and greet is also on point when they arrive. The team will always ask what they can do to make things easier and assess logistics before commencing any packing and removal activity. Niamh has also been on standby on both occasions now, from start to finish and makes life easier to close off any actions for me.

This time I had Vlad and Callum, both work so well together and really helped me settle into my new home. They did things with ease and never complained. In fact, they were telling me to relax or get some air 😉 they would do the rest 😊. From the moment I said ‘hello’ to them I just knew I could take a huge sigh of relief and know all will be completed before end of day. They were exceptionally careful with all my items; with the property I was exiting and the property I was entering. Very professional and respectful. We laughed and talked all the way through. I moved in the storm, so it was very very cold for us all, it was not easy by any means and I am just so grateful all went well and I am now in my new home!

Honestly, the best experiences to date for both moves !
