Avoid avoid avoid, I went on a week long cruise, bought AtoZ gold which being a higher price I assumed would be reliable, they use imglobal for missed port claims etc, I placed a claim 2 months ago, I received an email 3 weeks ago saying my claim is in its final checks and should be processed in 2-5 working days?, my emails get ignored, they are useless over the phone, DO NOT USE THIS INSURANCE, my partner went cheaper and was payed out 3 weeks after the initial claim. Customer service is terrible, useless money grabbing company.

They automatically opt you in to renewals, you can’t just buy a one-off yearly policy.
They say if you want to opt out of renewals to email their customer service address but every time you try to email you get this error back:
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error.
I am concerned I cannot contact them to opt out or if I have problems or need to act on my policy.

I strongly recommend avoiding A TO Z Travel Insurance. You will be paying for insurance for nothing because your claims will not be processed and you'll not get money back. I bought the ATOZ Gold travel insurance policy and paid additional for the gadget cover.
My device was damaged during the trip which should have been covered by the policy. When I tried to make a claim, I found out that A TO Z doesn't even have a claims department. They use another company "Davies Group" to handle their gadget claim (A TO Z told me this is their “claims department”). And that was the beginning of a frustrating, futile waste of time and energy. There were so many issues, wrong information given and my calls being forwarded to completely wrong companies (literally other insurance companies who were dismayed why my call was forwarded to them!!!) So basically in this attempt to make a claim A TO Z said it's not their problem and pushed me to Davies Group, and Davies Group was not providing adequate support at all. As a customer you're left in between the two companies where one doesn't respond and the other (which you had the contract with) said it is not their responsibility.
After giving me wrong information, and passing me onto the wrong companies multiple times, and then radio silence despite repeated chasing, I raised a formal complaint, to which I’ve still not had any meaningful communication or progress for the past month and I am left with a broken device and no support to repair nor compensation.
Davies even responded to say my complaint was “forwarded to the Claims Team Manager”, but then there was no further communication nor resolution. At this point it feels like the process is designed to dodge responsibility, even when it becomes a formal complaint you are only asked to “wait up to 8 weeks”.
A TO Z may sell gadget cover, but based on my experience, this does not form an "insurance" as the claims outsourced handling makes it impossible to get anything processed. Avoid!

I needed to have another copy of my policy, I emailed' and received one quite promptly.
We had to cancel our trip due to family bereavement, This took place in Oct 2025, the claim form was extremely difficult to complete and the documents required needed to be scanned etc and sent either by email or post, requiring the use of a scanner. The email address given we later found out was incorrect and they had not processed claim, as we eventually discovered after numerous phone calls. Our claim was finally settled in March 2026, I discovered an amount in bank account with no written confirmation of the payment. I booked this through Holiday Extras, and I would not recommend this insurance company to anyone.

Went with AtoZ travel insurance because our old provider put the cost up by such a lot and this company was more reasonable and had good reviews. Hopefully we’ll never have to claim to find out if they are helpful! Easy website to navigate and quite straightforward. Pleased so far.
Happy with prices quoted considering we had pre existing conditions. Easy to use the website. We are only going on a short break so hope we don’t have any need to use.
Took out this policy for a cruise I am going on. After adding my medical conditions I was happy with the result.
Competitive price and easy to complete on line x
Application process was straightforward. The application form was responsive and understandable.
