We hired a car from Athens Car Rental and have nothing but praise for them. Frank brought the car (a Skoda Scala) to where we were staying in Syntagma. It had driven 18000 kms and was clean and in perfect condition. Frank guided us through the car's features. While we had ordered a GPS it was not necessary as we used Apple Car Play seamlessly. After 10 days driving, we returned the car at the airport and were met by Frank. We cannot recommend the company more highly. Angus & Lina

The service was exactly like promised. A person waited for us at the airport arrivals, we did not have to wait in any line to get to our reservation. There were no additional costs on the spot, we paid the agreed amount and got the full service. The car was new, working perfectly. Any small scratches were written down before the rental by the person who handed us over the car. We checked again, and everything was recorded correctly. The employee themself advised us to also take photos and video of the car. The communication was very smooth, in person, via phone, and in emails. The reserved amount was released back to our credit card within the promised timeline. I would definitely recommend renting a car with the ACR.

This was the second time I have rented from ACR and my experience for my five week rental this time was exactly the same as my first rental. ACR is an excellent car rental company. They provide good, clean, well maintained cars which are new or almost new. They offer very competitive rates. Communication via email and WhatsApp before and during the rental was quick and useful. Pick up at the airport and drop off at their office with subsequent shuttle to the airport was efficient and quick. Altogether a very nice company to deal with which is not always the case with car rental companies. I will certainly be using ACR for all future rentals in Athens.

We hired a car for 3 weeks in September and were very happy with the service. Great communication before booking and the airport pickup was smooth and friendly even though my flight was delayed. The car was in good condition, we didn't take full insurance and there was no problem at all when we returned it. As we were staying in Athens, they even advised us it was cheaper to drop at their office than the airport due to the airport metro cost and they took us to the local metro. I recommend booking through this company and I will use them again when I am next in Greece. A bonus is the cars can be taken on the ferries.

Excellent company. Kostas from ACR sent us a message ahead of landing to inform us where he would be waiting for us. He was friendly and professional, worked through paperwork fast and guided us to our car. We had booked an Opel but were upgraded to a almost brand new VW T Cross at no extra cost. We were on our way fast and the car was a pleasure to drive. After our trip, Kostas made a quick check of the car and concluded everything was ok. ACR is a trustworthy, pleasant company to rent a car whenever you’re in Greece.

At the time I reserved a car (March 2025) for a renting period of 2 weeks end of May, category E cars contained only Opel Corsa, including a nice picture of the latest model. The contract mentioned "Opel Corsa or similar".
At the pickup place, I was provided a Dacia Sandero.
During the trip I emailed ACR, asking whether they rate Dacia Sandero similar to Opel Corsa, and they answered "Yes a Dacia Sandero is similar in size to a Opel Corsa".
That would probably stand legally, but as a customer I feel being tricked.
Regarding service and what is included in the package, I have no complaints.
