Great to avoid charity scams, not great for administration fees deducted from donations

I have a lot of banking with ATB but their atbcares website is not very helpful. I chose the site thinking that it would reduce the administration fees when contributing to a charity but it does not. ATB Cares works with Benevity - who charge a fee of up to 2.9%. On top of that, Benevity works with the Canadian Online Giving Foundation who, in addition, charge up to 7%. Go straight to the charity's website and donate through their site if you are familiar with the charity. If the charity is new to you, use atbcares.com.
