Had a Birthday Party on the 13th July
The Manager could not have been more helpful. Changing arrangements to suit the age group. So grateful for his flexibility. Fabulous pool party the life guard was excellent with lots of over excited kids.
From setting up the tables and chairs in the dance studio and helping to set up the music. The children commented it was “the best party they had been to”
Thank you to the manager and to his kind and caring staff. They made this a Birthday to remember. I would highly recommend Aspire as a Birthday venue.

Aspire trust GL1 sports centre in Gloucester. I rejoined a few weeks ago now that the gym is open again. The place looked tardy with marks on the walls where people enter and transverse the building.
They close between 1.30 - 3.00pm for 'cleaning' No mention of that on their website so I turn up at 2.00pm to renew my membership and it's closed ! A further 2 people came and tried to get in as well whilst I was waiting for my friend to meet me.
Cleaning ??? I have been going to the gym each day for a week now and in the male shower room one of the three usable shower cubicles has had a wad of damp tissue paper on the floor for the whole of that week. The obviously have not been near the floor with a broom or floor washing device.
One of the big windows outside near the entrance has bird poo all over it because birds roost on the cover above the entrance.
You would think that during the lockdown they could have employed some of the staff in more cleaning and perhaps some painting of the wall ? Jobs that could be done in isolation from others.
I also suggested to the reception that they put a sign in the doorway informing people that the centre would be closed for cleaning in the afternoon. But of course they have not bothered .....
