Awful experience. Ordered groceries online. Charged twice and cancelled order after it was delayed by over an hour after paying 8.99 for express delivery. Most items were unavailable then the delivery... See more

Asda's loyalty scheme used to be worth…
Asda's loyalty scheme used to be worth having. 6 months ago I had amassed a sum of 46 pence on my loyalty scheme. Despite having spent thousands of pounds over the last 6 months. I still have 46 pence in my cash pot.
I phoned their customer service and was told I need to compete missions to get rewarded. The missions they provide me with are always for things I don't buy. The current mission is to buy Star wars lego. I am a OAP so have no requirements to buy Lego. Alternatively I can get £5 if I book a delivery. As I prefer to pick my food off of the shelf that is of no use to me.
As a result I have looked around and located grocery stores that provide genuine loyalty bonuses. Currently enjoying Morrissons and Lidl rewards. Shame I was a very loyal customer for over 20 years.
I think Asda has dropped the ball and is missing out on retaining loyal customers.
Mr Allan Leighton nor this Company ASDA…
Mr Allan Leighton nor this Company ASDA have chosen to respond to my complaint regarding hair in cookies purchased from their Biggleswade store.
A poor shame if staff personal hygiene complaints are not addressed.
I have just had a very argumentative call with Seb from ASDA customer services about scanning my passport or driving licence and uploading it to a third party app. I believe he was looking at this complaint lightheartedly.
I advised I did not want my details uploaded on the web and felt I was strongly being coerced into doing so.
Allan Leighton and his team need to learn to be more Customer friendly, yes the important word here is Customer. I don’t use Wassap, I don’t use World Remit and do not appreciate being strong armed into doing so.
Not content with Stevenage ASDA continually week after week, on Roll Back prices, Biggleswade ASDA are now including human hair in their cookies
Aggressive Drivers and Lying Customer Support
Tried to tell their customer support about a delivery driver I had seen getting in an aggressive driving altercation with a white van by tailgating it and aggressively accelerating around corners to overtake without regard to oncoming traffic for a few miles but when customer service picked up they pretended not to hear me both times I rung.
EDI: to be clear I was afraid it was going to cause an accident and tried to warn them but I can't do that if they pretend they can't hear you
Buying alcohol at self checkout
I visited the Derby Sinfin store and had an abominable experience.
An assistant had to put all the alcohol through, logging in as a staff member and entering the product code for EACH bottle (20 bottles in total), then a second assistant had to manually tot up all the “4 for £7” savings and deduct that from the final bill - which she initially got wrong as 4 of the bottles were low alcohol (0.5%) and only priced at £1.58. (ie £6.32 for 4)
(I'm not criticising the staff, they were really helpful - it's their system which stinks)
I spent almost half an hour at the checkout and as there were only 3 people managing the self checkout area, a sizeable queue soon built up.
Further mis-management is that there are at least 6 traditional style manned checkouts, but only 1 was actually open.
This is atrocious “customer service” and it is clear that they not interested in serving customers but look upon us as an inconvenience to your business to be treated badly
I purchasedt two John Lewis gift cards…
I purchasedt two John Lewis gift cards from your Clacton - On -Sea Asda store, with a total value of £150 (£100 and £50), bought as Christmas presents.
When attempting to redeem these vouchers online for the first time, we discovered that the security panels had already been tampered with. The codes were either missing or had already been scratched off prior to our use. Upon carefully removing the silver covering, no usable code was present.
I returned to store with the original purchase receipts, your customer service employee was helpful, she contacted someone higher up in Asda, they advised to we should contact John Lewis directly. The lady done this in store for us. John Lewis informed us that the vouchers had been redeemed and had been compromised before we had purchased them.John Lewis sent an email of our next steps. They did point out that the point of sale was with Asda and therefore its Asda’s responsibility to investigate.Your customer service employee did take photos of the vouchers and the receipts.I have contacted the customer services via email four times but have not had a reply.
I bought these at your Asda tills and why is it so hard to get my money back or someone to reply???

Asda's online shopping app is always failing its so frustrating I order 50 items and 28 come always somthing missing its appalling how these people get it so wrong ,the fruit is mostly out of date ,the cakes are squshed im getting really fed up of ringing asda and complaining and nothing gets done
I was not impressed at the checkout…
I was not impressed at the checkout when I discovered that Asda is now charging 40p for a carrier bag. This is profiteering with a capital P.
Having had a look online it appears that some other supermarkets are also doing the same. I’m not sure how much a bag costs them, but I suspect it’s probably a penny or less so to charge 40p is a disgrace.
I did have a bag with me, but because I’d bought a few other items in the town, I needed another one. I do nearly always re-use the carriers where I can, so this price hike seems like a kick in the nuts and is unnecessary. The government mandate is to charge 10p not 40p, maybe the management of these companies are a bit lacking in the brain cell department.
Asda Rewards doesn't give any "That's Asda Price"
I usually shop from Asda, but sadly I have to say that their Asda Rewards program is substandard compared to other loyalty schemes. When you shop and scan your Asda Rewards its literally doesn't give you anything back, so what's the point to shop from them. I switched to Lidl & Tesco and very happy with their scheme.
Customer service worker
Customer service worker, Miller, has amazing customer service. Helped out with my issue very fast! And deserves a raise :)
You've charged me twice!!!!
You've charged me two times for a near 300 quid order! So 600 has gone out of my bank. Absolutely outrageous, now I'm left with pennies until you sort this mess out.
How you're even allowed to do this is beyond me!!!

I will never step foot in an Asda store again. Had to leave my car there due to an emergency and got a £60 fine no signs anywhere empty car park. Ridiculous in this economy you expect people to pay fines like this. You make absolute fortunes as it is

This card deserves a minus rating
I would give this card a minus rating if I could. Oh yes, you can create vouchers if you ever manage to build your cash pot - but only for multiples of £1, so you lose the loose change at the end of the year. As for missions - they are only there to make you buy more, most of them are in no way appropriate to my shopping profile. I’m a 68yr old widow, what do I want with baby products and men’s aftershave?
It’s great for Asda, they get more sales and free marketing data. What does the shopper get - virtually nothing!!!
Swanley Asda - Service Staff are just rude.
Swanley Asda, why do they put the most rudest persons on the the Self Service checkouts.. void of personality, void of politeness, and just plain rude. Interestingly, when I use the actual proper tills always have someone who will Communicate with you. Smile and say, "please" and "thank you."
Poor delivery service and communication
I placed a delivery order scheduled to arrive between 12:30 and 1:30, but it did not arrive within that time frame, and there was no communication or update provided.
I contacted the store, and I was informed that the delivery would instead arrive by 3:30. However, it still did not arrive at that time either.
Later, at around 5:00 pm, I was told that delivery would not be taking place that day at all.
Overall, the experience reflected very poor delivery service and a lack of communication throughout. I am extremely disappointed with how this was handled.

Disgusting pieces of crap...every word censored on their feedback, so here is mine, went on holiday with 3 kids made order with all my money I had day before so I had food to take, they never delivered and took 2 weeks to get a refund, needless to say screwed up my holiday...left us potless..with nothing....didn't care...no apology...no compensation... disgusting...recent order 19 items missing all baby food not delivered, they don't give a shite, leave U with no order no money, no bloody apology and no compensation for the stress they induce... diabolical, I'm going Tesco...screw Asda!!!

Ok I've had enough you charge for a delivery but you're van's don't come with a magnet to remove security cap on alcohol or items missing. Plus then they are taking back with the promise of a refund and it never happens. Never again now and I better get my refund.
