EXCELLENT experience with Kevin Clark at Arnold Clark (Seafield).
Our salesman Kevin Clark was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the different cars we were looking at and without pushing us one way or another, he helped us to get the right car for our lifestyle.
Also, we really liked that Kevin gave us the space to talk amongst ourselves and we didn’t feel pressured in anyway to make a purchase. This method was ultimately the reason we continued and bought the vehicle.

Extremely disappointing experience.
I purchased a Volvo XC40 from Arnold Clark expecting a high standard of service from a well-known dealer and authorised Volvo retailer. Unfortunately, my experience has been the complete opposite.
From the day I collected the vehicle, I raised concerns about cosmetic defects, including scratches, and I very nearly refused to accept the car. I only agreed to take the vehicle after being assured that Arnold Clark’s Scotland team had authorised all of the defects to be rectified at their expense.
Shortly afterwards, the vehicle developed a serious fault where it cut out unexpectedly. I formally complained on 13 March 2026 and exercised my right to reject the vehicle within the first 30 days.
Instead of a prompt resolution, I have spent months chasing updates, dealing with delays and poor communication, and trying to resolve what has become an extremely stressful situation.
Following my recent social media posts, Arnold Clark has confirmed that my complaint has now been reopened and is being investigated again. I genuinely hope this leads to a fair resolution, but it is disappointing that it has taken so long to reach this point.
My review will be updated once the investigation is complete.

Great experience buying my new car, initially it seemed quite daunting as it’s such a huge decision and like everyone making a big purchase, I wanted to get it right. I highly recommend Aidan at the Wakefield showroom, he was very professional (not pushy!) and very helpful & personable. Great deal, happy customer 😀

Took a car out in april on pcp to find…
Took a car out in april on pcp to find the car has a fault ,the car is only just over 2 years old.
Took the car back back to them for them to look at .
They told me they checked and tested it which i don,t believe they even bothered now i still have the same problem to find the branch has shut down and never informed me.
As i have a 4 year sevice plan with them they,ve left me in limbo with no corespondence in which branch to go to.
Everytime i contact Arnold Clark they fob me off to another branch .
I,m taking this matter further as they can,t treat customers like this its appalling .
No pressure experience.
We were allowed to take our time and have a good look around , before being looked after by a friendly sales assistant , again not pressurising us at all , we were allowed to reserve the car overnight to allow us to discuss buying after a test drive the next day . Special mention to Micheal Ritchie our sales assistant .

The salesman, Kyle, looked after us through the whole buying experience. The ZS is a superb drive and we were as happy as can be driving our new car home.
1st Class Experience at Mercedes-Benz Grangemouth
I recently bought a car from Mercedes-Benz Grangemouth and the whole experience from start to finish was superb. I was looking initially at a few different cars and managed to whittle it down to two which I took out for a test drive. The staff were very accommodating and there was no hard sales pitch. I finally decided on the car I wanted. The buying process using the app was excellent. No faffing about with forms and paper. The road tax was organized on the spot, quickly by the salesperson. Everything was so smooth. My car was given to me polished and cleaned to a very high standard.
After driving about for a couple of hours I noticed a small chip on the windscreen. I popped back into the dealership and they acted on it immediately. A specialist was sent to my home a couple of days later to fix the chip. He did an excellent job and you'd struggle to find where the chip was. All in all, the experience with this dealership has been 1st class and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
