Sent query about an item on afternoon of 26 Aug during the Summer Sales period using the "contact us" page - no reply. Decided to order later that day and the summer discount had disappeared, so price £25 higher. The email I received that morning just said Summer Sale ends soon, without saying when. Nothing on the website either. Pricing policy is rather unfair..

Update: The rainshield jacket arrived and although I followed the sizing guide advice to order 2 sizes smaller than usual (jacket cut larger to fit over body armour etc), it is way too small. Phoned their office and Gareth was very helpful - as I live 15 miles away I can call in next week to try a M and L alternative and exchange.

Update 2:
Gareth emailed this morning and told me he has refunded the amount of the summer discount!

Had to exchange a jacket for a larger size and it was handled faultlessly. Jacket returned to Arktis on the Thursday and received new one on the following Tuesday.

Ordered two hats from there website but I wanted to exchange them for a different size so I started a return after 10 days of receiving them but they would not send me the return shipping address or reply to any of me emails so I’m basically £70 out of pocket but I will be contacting trading standards and PayPal about them

I reached out on two separate occasions to Arktis through their online messaging system more then three week's ago now, both message's were ignored despite me being told that my messages had been sent successfully and I would receive a response soon. So I sent an email a week ago requesting information on their product's, once again Arktis have seen fit to ignore me. If they can't be bothered to reply to my message's then I can't be bothered to spend my money with them!

Straight out the bag, brand new c310 trousers, soaked to the skin in minutes. These are in no way waterproof. I've had many waterproofs in my time but these are down there with the most ineffective. I contacted the company twice but no response so left an honest review which they didn't publish.
They look the part, tough, ripstop, well made, good design and ironically, look like they'd last years, but no use as waterproofs.

Just one of the best ranges of kit for any outdoors activities and/or military applications all. Fantastic range of jackets, smocks, and shirts especially. High-performance gear kit supplier. To both armed forces and outdoors people globally. Their smock jackets are really legendary and outstanding especially, whether you wanted a basic one or a waterproofed lined one. I'm a great fan of many years of their neat little windproof shirts in a bag, Stowaway Shirts, in particular. Packs up very small, weighs next to nothing in your pack. It's not been so easy these days to get kit in the older style camo like UK DPM and US Woodland. So this place has been great as their range is huge. I found useful small things good here too, in the outdoors accessories lines, like the Twizel pegs for basha set up and the great waterproof dry bags as high-quality items.

Top quality outdoor functional clothing that doesn't cost a fortune. I highly recommend the mammoth jacket and avenger cost.

I recently receiver a set of the Arktis C222 Ranger Trousers.

Absolutely amazing trousers! An incredible design, that accommodates the Modern Warfighter, regardless of Country, Service or Specialisation.

Really good robust comfy trousers.

The fabric crotch area is great, i ripped two pairs of issued trousers in two weeks, got these trousers and getting into awkward positions was easier, as I did not worry about that audible ripping sound 5 hours into a 5 day exercise.

The areas where you need stretch (crotch, seat area, pockets and knees) is there.

Good idea with the universal knee pads as well!

The little utility pockets on the front thigh and lower ankle are good for those little bits and bobs you may need, cam cream, reporting cards, batteries.

Overall, an incredible pair of trousers. Well planned, designed and implemented.

Arktis's ability to cater for a large number of countries with unique patterns adds to their reputation of being the best.

I have been using a Combat Smock and two hot climate shirts for work in The Middle East. It is the best equipment I have ever been using.
