Worst company in the world. You guys treat Jamaicans like dogs. Clients are even worst. You get persons and then not give them the amount of hours that you informed them that they would get. I paid $30 for a background check and missed one day of training because I was sick with a fever and they dropped me. The training is a joke, the company is a joke don't waste your time or money on this place. You will work for $10 an hour at the most
Scam! Beware of this "company".
This company makes you pay for everything including equipment, background checks, and even $20 to secure a spot in a class if you find a client you're interested in. I had gotten sick & had to be admitted to the hospital, & was told too bad, I would lose my $20 class "deposit", and be dropped from training. You don't even get paid for training. Training is usually 5 days a week, and on average 4 hours a day of instructor led training, then you're expected to do another 2-4 hours a day of self led training for $0.00. When I let them know I was in the hospital, they didn't even ask if I was okay. If you drop or are dropped by three clients in a 90 day period, you are banned from trying to apply for at least one month. Since I had to drop 2 classes due to hospitalization, any documentation was not accepted, and then I found out everyone gets paid differently, and I was making a lot less than others, so I dropped the 3rd class. In that time they got to keep my $20 deposit as they don't want any excuses whether you are on your death bed, in the hospital, or any reason at all even with documentation. I was never even asked how I felt. Arise and Work at Home LLC work together, and Work at Home LLC doesn't even have a real email address. They use a free Gmail account. Since I was hospitalized twice, and found out I was making less than others for a class, I dropped the 3rd one, and nobody said anything to me until I finally got in touch with their support who said I'd have to wait 30 days, then could try to sign up for another client, and everytime I logged in, everything was full. Without reason or notice, I suddenly get an email that I've been removed from their site, but can create a new profile, pay the same charges again, and repeat. Since they already had my SSN and phone number on file, I had no way to advance from just trying to register to the portal. These companies are involved in class action lawsuits and there should be more. They take a portion of each paycheck and then an additional percentage based on net pay for that period. You're better off with real companies that people know and trust. A lot of call centers with people that are rude, uneducated, and unmotivated are actually clients of Arise or Work From Home LLC, so if you've had some horrible calls with a call center, it's likely them. Stay away! It's all a scam. They'll take your money then throw you off the portal.

This is the email I got today from them about the class I paid $30 for a place in. I PAID 30 DOLLARS FOR A CLASS THAT WAS ALREADY FULL. THEY DECIDED TO KEEP A CLASS AVAILABLE AND ACCEPT CHARGES OF $30 FOR PEOPLE TRYING TO GET INTO IT FOR A JOB.

Avoid Arise & Nespresso coffee agent role
Worst company I have worked. You are just a number and not a human. Heavy workload and stressful. Not being paid properly and also my colleagues are not paid. Arise works with a sub contractor called EAA COMMUNICATION who I was employed by, did not pay my wages right and also they didn’t pay my colleagues. Working with ARISE & NESPRESSO were stressful, The working hours are irregular and I was told that to improve my rating I need to work all the hours I can get. Instead of working for arise focus on your strengths and find something better to do.
Arise is the middle man for other companies like Nespresso and BT. Unpaid 5 weeks training full time.
This place is a scam. I have been offered work twice by EAA communications who works for Arise and both times they underpaid me. When you question the pay you get sacked.

MINIMUM WAGE JOB WITH MAXIMUM STRESS, NOT WORTH IT
To begin with,the director of this company is Mohit Thukral. The company is on government site for company house ARISE VIRTUAL SOLUTIONS LIMITED
Company number 06370708. I saw the advert for customer service job which was fully working from home.. or rather run your own call centre. With no travelling involved I thought it would good. So like any other standard job recruitment process .. received an email .. applied for it and had to go through several different tests before I was selected and need to pick up the training hours, which I thought was brilliant.I was informed as it is a fully remote work I will need either a laptop or a full computer system with a wire connection,as wireless connection won’t work and I can’t use adaptor for my current laptop so it has to be a wired connection. So I had to invest in a computer though I had laptop.. well after passing the connection test .. I had to attend training for a month which to my surprise was not paid… my training was from 10am to 3pm with a 15 minutes break which I felt was terrible. The trainer kept on saying that it is a big class than expected and hence she will have to to just go through the training. THE TRAINING SESSIONS FOR A MONTH WERE UNPAID. So it was my time which I was giving this company without getting paid a penny .. this is something I experienced for the first time in my 20 yrs of working. Someone talked about 15 minutes break being too short.. the reply was on the lines that we have to hold it in ..nothing much can be done.. which i thought was terrible as someone could develop serious health problems with following that advice. Well the training was for Nespresso. While attending the training I was told that I would not be just taking the calls to take the order for the coffee but I will be talking all the call … complaint , tech , order calls and basically everything. THE PAY IS NATIONAL MINIMUM and not a penny more. So basically I am not paid for a month for my time , I had to buy a new system .. and I am dealing with all the calls. While still training I was given some super confusing matrix of how I can improve my points to get more hours. THERE ARE NO FIX HOURS HOURS GIVEN, IT IS BASED ON POINTS SYSTEM. Once I started to work I was told that in a week I need to attend at least 2 training sessions which were again NOT PAID as it is for my development .. for me to get my points I have to attend these WOW sessions of 1 hour once a week of my personal time ..again they were not paid. After going live on calls I realised that it is far more terrible than that.. customers are rude and abusive. While on calls I could chat with senior advisors (PF) for help,Most of the time they were helpful however some of them were absolutely useless and terrible.They were rude and treat new joiners as though they are stupid and brainless (not just my experience but everyone else’s experience, as we made a WhatsApp private group)The entire experience of being there was terrible. During training I was told that there would be many hours available during Christmas so me and other who joined with me were super excited as we all thought that we will be able to make some money … however for whatever reason as ARISE was providing terrible service to Nespresso… Nespresso decided to give less hours to ARISE, so come November there were no hours available. Also quality rating have effect on the hours released to work and they were another terrible team to work with, I can’t do anything if I disagree with them on anything, there was no proper channel to communicate. Once a week I had meetings with another member who possibly been there for a bit long time and I had to discuss the quality and performance with them.. the tone they used was very condescending. I feel sorry for people who work there as they feel that everyone around them is brainless except them 😁. While I was there they had quite few system issues and senior management was not available to update agents on what is the best way to handle this.. the agents have to make up their own mind, which I felt was very incompetent of them. 90% of my call were either tech calls as coffee machines kept breaking or customer didn’t receive their order .. and customers would shout and swear and there was nothing you could do. At times the entire day I did nothing but apologise on behalf of everyone. My days working with ARISE & NESPRESSO were very very stressful, especially for the pay. The working hours are irregular and I was told that to improve my rating I need to work all the hours I can get. Had to work on call while being in calls , on wrap up times , can’t have urgent breaks . Have to wait till the break . We were 60 of us who had joined, now only 2 or 3 working. Instead of working for arise focus on your strengths and find something better to do. I left as it was terrible place to work. No hours available.Terrible old systems.

The hourly pay for these jobs is absurd
The proposed hourly pay for these jobs are insulting and absurd. Then on top of that you have to train for FREE. There must be really desperate or homebound people willing to do this.
Favoritism runs rampid!
This could be a great place to service for however, a certain CSM has too much power and puts their friends and buddies in high positions they have no business being in, nor the qualifications. These "friends" never took one phone call ever and now are in the highest paid positions with the client on the platform. If there was a complaint about them due to incorrect process given to the CSR agent or the treatment they give other agents they go unnoticed by the CSM and nothing is done. CSM also overlooks agents who deserve to move up to better paying positions and gives those positions to people they bring from other clients on the platform. There is no structure, disregard for tenured agents and becoming a hostile work environment. You are treated like a W2 employee with rules and demands the CSM creates on their own outside of the contract you sign. If you do speak up you are subjecting yourself to your contract being termed because the CSM will find a loophole to get rid of you if you don't follow their rules. I have seen great agents being let go because they questioned the CSM and the "friends in high places" Arise allowing these people to run the show and allowing them to show favoritism to agents that don't belong in the positions they are in just because they are long time "friends" is just wrong. Those "friends" have job security and if anyone complains they don't last long on the platform. There is no one at Arise to voice your opinion or complain about a person in charge. They turn a blind eye. If the client they represent knew how people are treated here they would dump Arise.
I lost my work during the lockdowns and…
I lost my shop during the lockdowns and went straight to Arise in the spring of 2020 and was able to service a national utility company from the comfort of my home. My husband also lost his position, and we were able to work and pay our mortgage. I really like the flexibility and we are always able to pick up the amount of hours we want to work. There can be challenges sometimes and the system isn't perfect, but it has provided me and my husband with a livelihood, and I appreciate that.
This work isn't for everyone, and its really important to have the right equipment and a strong internet connection. You have to take responsibility for your own success. Find a good IBO who will communicate and support you. I hope I am able to continue working with Arise until I retire.
Stay far far away from this place
Most of the previous reviews are accurate. This place is a scam. I have been offered work at least 2-3 times with these people and something goes wrong every time. Either my computer isn’t going to pass the test, or, like this time, my information is duplicated in the system and they can’t even do something as simple as fix that so that I can continue my registration process. Since this is so hard to accomplish, I’m done with Arise and I will be blocking them in my email accounts. They are completely incompetent and apparently also a total scam.
Progressively getting worse through the years
Trained for a month. Overcame hurdles with the system. No hours available to service. Followed by a termination. Very disappointing. Be wary to not waste your time and energy for this type of opportunity.

I have been with Arise now going on 13 years. And now all of a sudden since the new CEO is from India and his daughter lives in India no hours available. I have supported myself for 12 years working on this platform. Not anymore all opportunities are going to who knows where.

If I can review and give 0 stars I would, Do not waste your time and work here. Everything is good until their system glitches and says they cannot verify your identity and issue immediate termination with no point of contact before the problem arises. I sat in training for 4 weeks completed every homework sometimes up to 1hr after training and finally accepted hours for employment once training was completed. My account was closed with no explanation when I contacted arise via email, they stated that my account was terminated because they cannot verify my identity. Even though they have a signed affidavit before classes began with photos to prove identity. It's been almost 1 month and the account is still not restored even when I complied with every request asked from Arise to have employment restored because clearly an error. Email sent to registration@arise send proof of identity with 2 minutes of request and nothing after, no response at all, then I reached out to compliance@arise and to questions@arise Someone followed up on 05/12/2023 and requested more documents and stated that they will forward to necessary party, I am the only one that is following up and I'm guessing it's because I'm the only one not working but actually working to get my account restored. After today I gave up trying, I have never failed a QA once and if this is how they treat their employees I am glad I dodged that bullet, i will keep looking for work and promise myself to read all reviews before working for a company like this for 4 weeks with no compensation and working hours I still have not received payment for. I could go on and on but my thing is run, find another company keep running its a waste of time, their turn around is extremely high, this place is a revolving door I wonder why? Your company has failed me and so many others, when people work it's not because they have nothing else to do, IT'S BECAUSE they need the money. So playing around with people's time and money is bad and your company should see these things as an urgent matter, your practices are indecent and selfish with no morals and bad ethics and absolutely with no consideration because you dont care all you are going to do is hire another batch of people to train and work for free. Then they wanted me to train again for free because of their system mistakes. RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
ARISE refuses to HELP black vendors
Lilian Delgado (VP of Marketing) and Nate Brown (VP of Customer Service). This is a situation where you begin to understand that no matter how well a person may present themselves EVERYONE's priority is SELF. As long as people do just enough to collect their checks and pay their bills all else is irrelevant.
I paid the state fees and put this together to give ppl the opportunity to make an honest living for themselves. If these efforts were coordinated or affected a group like Delta Zeta I'm certain my issues would have been remediated by now!
I reached out to them on May 8th the fix a technical issue on their end and here we are on Memorial Day the problem isn't fixed and I keep getting automated email responses to my request for help. If i get a white girl to submit my request maybe it will get answered in a timely fashion and something will actually get done!
Home Deport Max program
I did the Home Deport Max program in June 2022. I was already displeased that it took a whole month of training, however the teacher was nice. but no pay for all that time should be illegal. They focus on the metrics a lot too here which is stupid when the customers are mostly Karen's and Greg's smh, already upset over the simplest of issues. To top it all off they pay $7.50 but advertise $15 per hour which is not true because they trick you by counting the intervals which is basically the block of time you schedule yourself. They want you to work 50hrs equal to 100 intervals, total rip off. I had to submit a ticket to ask how are they calculating my time because it wasn't adding up, I was making under $500 twice a month with them?! and they will drop you to 10hrs if you don't meet the ridiculous metric system. I left because the customer's were terrible and they make you do appliance training which pays more (12 per hour apparently) however its more irritating customers. Overall it's ok job if your desperate for work but the pay issues and tech issue combined are not worth it. I was happy when I terminated my contract in October 2022.
Shady, tricky, and want to pay you less than min wage!
Shady, they try to trick you so much to be able to pay you less than min wage: "Tech issues", "blocking accounts", "bad surveys from customers", "etc". If a customer is waiting for 5 hours for a tow truck what kind of review do you want???? You get blamed for problems that the company MUST resolve not the customer service rep! They forced me to take USAA Contract and "offered me" a Chat contract which I accepted. Only to be told that with chat I was going to be paid min wage and the other pay premium. A week after the two contracts were signed they told me I couldn't keep the two contracts, it was one of the other and that I was going to be doing only chat! Very convenient for them, now I was going to make less than min wage. When I terminated that contract and told them I was going to keep the premium contract not the chat, they just blocked my account with all kinds of tech issues that tech support never resolved. They had to "escalate" the issue - whatever that means to them- I was not able to work since the last week of October till today.
I just terminated my contract for the sake of my time. Looking for a real contract and/or a real job. This is just a waste of time!!!! Stay away from the big scam!!!!!
Shady company without customer support
I would not recommend this company at all. They made a mistake and block my account, I was asked to send information to confirm my identity which I sent back immediately. They took almost 2 months to get back to me, told me the issue was fixed but it wasn't because I'm still unable to get access to my account. Plus they owe me money for a training I took. They're very shady, I'm going to sue this business.
