AVOID - ARGOS ARE SCAM ARTISTS
TL;DR ARGOS ARE SCAM ARTISTS - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
The employees pretend to be helpful and kind, meanwhile they fraudulently initiate contracts under different companies (Enel) which we did not agree to.
We were offered a specific rate (€/kWh) which we agreed to, with Argos. But the scam artists force you to sign another "interim" contract with a different provider "while Argos conducts the change from our previous electricity and gas provider". Lo and behold, a month later we receive a energy bill through the mail with rates FOUR TIMES what we agreed. This is despite multiple attempts to contact Argos, asking why we did not receive the contract by email as promised.
Now, three months later, the change has still not been completed. Every time we attempt to communicate with Argos by email, the employees refuse to write anything and insist we phone them instead. This is textbook scam artist behaviour. They know if nothing is in writing then we have no paper trail to take them to court for FRAUD.
DO NOT USE ARGOS, THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY.
