Superb customer experience
In a country where, sadly, everyone says, 'nothing works properly anymore, I have been blown away by how Appliances Direct gets everything right!
From genuinely helpful, knowledgeable phone agents who speak intelligible English and are easy to contact, through to good prices and the friendly delivery/installation guys who send very useful messages about their ETA. These guys know what they're doing and get on with the job very efficiently - and were happy to answer lots of (my daft) questions - nothing is too much trouble for AD staff. Honestly, I was dreading buying the kitchen appliances I needed because like most people I've had rubbish 'service' from all sorts of companies for almost 10yrs now. AD and its staff have given me such a positive experience that I know I'll be back for more! I'm not being paid to write this, nor did I get any discounts, I'm not otherwise connected to the company etc. I'm just a discerning shopper and, compared to most other online retailers, AD gave me a superb customer experience! They deserve the kudos!

Ordered a meaco arete 2 dehumidifier for £20 cheaper than meaco itself,delivered next day by the wonderful DPD
Kept in the loop about time frame etc....

A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!
Unbelievably poor service with multiple promises broken. Ongoing apologetic emails, but never actually correcting the situation. Horrible!!! Avoid this company, even if you pay a little more elsewhere.

So,initially communication from AD was good. I will point out that their quotes DO NOT INCLUDE ISOLATER SWITCH NOR ANY REQUIRED TRUNKING. The isolater switches can cost anything from £300 upwards. The trunking is an additional £50 per metre!
Now onto Bespoke who are subcontracted by Appliances Direct to install their AC systems. Bespoke are based at Oldham and their manager is Joe.
Firstly, the installation was cancelled on more than one occasion. Then they said it would be installed the next day PM. Guess what, Gareth the engineer turned up at 8am! I had to cancel work yet again.
The worst thing about this company is their willingness to leave the end product in an unprofessional manner. So, Gareth simply shoved putty in the hole and left it like that (see photos attached). I contacted Bespoke manager Joe, who asked me to contact him via WhatsApp. Please see his shocking responses to my complaint. He said the way the putty had been left was NOT unprofessional!! He then said that Appliances Direct hadn't supplied the plastic part for the hole....this is not true as Gareth had thrown it in the rubbish! I had to get it out so he could come back AND DO HIS JOB PROPERLY.
Gareth then denied breaking the already installed isolater switch. I had to pay for an electrician to come and change it. The electrician said that Bespoke had simply shoved the electric wiring up with no waterproof sheath. This wiring could have easily come out in poor weather etc.
I have submitted an official complaint to Appliances Direct. They gave me £50 compensation which is poor considering the poor service received.
I am taking this further with both of their governing bodies.

Repeat buyer from Appliances Direct
Repeat buyer from Appliances Direct, but probably no longer.
Fridge damaged on delivery (cosmetic), we let it go then in first month it stopped working. Massive fuss over getting a repair as we hadn’t reported delivery damage. Repair refused, then return request refused.
Only resolved when credit card company stepped in, no reference from seller as to why they had changed their mind, no proper apology. Wasted hours on phone dealing with this.
In future would much rather pay more and buy in real life.
(EDIT: have sent them the sales order number as requested. Appliances Direct have a very long paper trail they can now look at to review the mess they made of this)
