My machine stopped working. I emailed Appliance World and kind of hoped for a response but had a feeling that I would not get one. I got a detailed response and a plan of action to check stuff. I got a follow up all a week later to see if the plan had worked. I had not had time to do it. So a week after that I got another phone call to check. It has all been made good. This is John Lewis levels of customer service with the cheapest price I could find (as it happens £200+ cheaper than John Lewis for the item I bought). I sincerely hope to not buy another large appliance for another 10 years, but if I have to then I will be back. It was Lydia who handled all this. I hope whoever sets her pay scale reads all this stuff and gives her a pay rise.

We ordered a dish washer over 2 months ago. Had to chase each week lots of promises to call back with updates that never happened. Really shocking how poor their customer service has been.

The customer service this company have provided FOUR YEARS after I purchased from them is phenomenal. Specifically Lydia Pike, she should teach customer service to other companies, just fantastic. Thank you.

Every member of the sales team we spoke with were polite and knowledgeable and they always returned our calls. We accidently ordered the wrong item (100% our fault) but Appliance World sorted out the problem without any arguments or issues. Excellent service and competitively priced.

Fantastic customer service... I had a problem with paypal taking a payment and Sagepay (my fault due to cancelling the first order as I put the wrong delivery address), there wasn't funds for 2 payments and paypal held my money so I couldn't order my oven but was desperate for it too so I payed with a different card but Appliance World went above and beyond assisting me and once all sorted arranged a next morning delivery.

I would order from them again and highly recommend them too.

I placed an order for an Hotpoint Fridge Freezer, competitive price. I was advised the item was out of stock and the anticipated delivery date was begining of Sept. A few days ago I received a call confirming the could be delivered on Thursday. Appliance World provided a great service.

I was looking online for a tall AEG integrated freezer for my kitchen and I accidently came across Appliance World on one of my searches. The price for the freezer was really competitive so I telephoned to get more information and spoke to Lydia, who I have to say was really helpful and answered all the questions that I had and gave me all the product information that I was looking for.

I decided to go ahead and buy the freezer and I received the goods in less than five days without quibble or fuss, I was very impressed. I would especially like to thank Lydia in the customer services team as she handled the whole thing from start to finish; nothing was a bother for her.

I also ordered a Bosch tumble dryer a few weeks later, again via Lydia, and everything went without a hitch. I can honestly recommend Appliance World to anyone who is looking for first class goods and customer satisfaction at all times.

I only have great words to say about Appliance World. I ordered 7 Appliances and so far have not been dissapointed. From order to delivery and beyond they have been amazing. Not only are their prices competitive, They offered technical support on my query and were very fast solving any problem that I had. For once a company that cares!

I needed to purchase 7 appliances for my new kitchen and after checking out many online retailers found the vast choice of appliances and competitive prices at Appliance World to be just what I wanted. They were quick to respond to my bulk discount enquiry and had all my chosen products available to order. When I placed my order there had been a price change on one of the appliances but they honoured the original price which was very decent of them because the price had been a special deal price which had ended. The order process was easy and delivery was arranged on a date convenient to me, its nice to have an indication of delivery time slot so there was no waiting around all day.
Appliance World proved they cared after sales also. 8 months after delivery of my appliances the integrated washing machine developed a problem which was as a result of a manufacturers fault and when I spoke with Lydia at Appliance World she dealt with the manufacturer on my behalf resulting in a new machine being delivered and installed to which I am very grateful. Lydia even phoned me at the weekend to make sure I had been informed of delivery of the new machine by the manufacturer.
I would highly recommend Appliance World to anyone.
Having experienced the services of many online retailers I can honestly say Appliance World are one of the best.

I could not have been happier with my experience at Appliance World. Not only were they the quickest to respond to me when I was enquiring about several different items for our house refurbishment, but they were the most competitive on price and the most helpful with it.

The real test comes once you have bought the goods and you have problems; this is really where Appliance World came into it's own. It felt like a "John Lewis" level of customer care with absolutely no quibbles about fixing problems. I never had the feeling that they would try and be difficult, in fact they went out of their way to support me and most importantly, to communicate with me and manage my expectations.

I can't speak highly enough of this firm.

The washing machine that I bought from appliance world came with a 5'year warranty . It broke down after 4'years, and the manufacturer had gone bust..! I rang appliance world, and, although thay were NOT legally responsable thay went out of there way to help me, AND even gave me the money for the cost of its repair.!!! Who else would've done that??? Thay REALY did go above and beyond the norm to make me a very satisfied customer' .. I've certainly never known a company to pay out as willingly & helpfully when THAY DIDNT HAVE To. What more can I say. . Thanks appliance world'' .. (Made a very pleasant change from the Sharks who don't care about after care service.. I'm truly greatfull & will purchase from you in future.

Purchased suite of DeDietrich appliances, one of which developed a one off fault that was new to the support team. Lydia provided continued support throughout the diagnostic, attempted repair and subsequent replacement. The process although prolonged was relatively painless from my perspective as Lydia and the Appliance World team progressed and pushed on our behalf.
What more could you ask for from a supplier.

I purchased a cooker hood - it was badly damaged and missing parts. Some six weeks had passed before I'd unwrapped and had it installed. Upon discovering the issues with it I contacted Lydia at appliance world. She dealt with the issue with absolute efficiency and had my complaint resolved bearing in mind it was outside the 28 day period. She was courteous, kept me updated with excellent communication and polite as well as accommodating. This bad experience was quickly turned-around for me and I have no problem in purchasing from the company again. :)

Had a number of items delivered, one of which was faulty from the manufacturer. Despite the new Swindon showroom being closed during relocation Lydia took ownership of our problem and ensured a replacement was delivered in double quick time so that there were no delays to our building schedule.

Great value, great service great buying experience.

My natural caution regarding web-based discount outlets was proven unwarranted with Appliance World. I had a problem with an Astracast tap but with one call to Lydia in after sales a replacement was organised directly from Astracast and dispatched immediately along with pre-paid postal return slip for the faulty tap, even though the original purchase was six weeks earlier. Great service from both companies but I was particularly impressed with Lydia's efficiency and general handling of the issue.

I am very pleased with Appliance World's service- as my previous review said, Lydia sorted out my missing part from a Neff hob and also promised to order the free set of induction pans offered with the hob.
I am glad to say the missing part arrived after two days and the pans after five days.

Our Neff microwave was delivered within the time frame expected but sometime after I noticed a chip on the glass turntable.
Lydia very kindly sorted a replacement which arrived a few days after.
I have every confidence in returning to Appliance World and thank them for their proffessional handling of the situation.

We purchased a white ceramic sink and tap from appliance world. Unfortunately when we unpacked the sink we found that it was cracked. I was going away for the week and was worried about leaving my wife without a sink. Lucky for us appliance world sorted everything out and replaced the sink immediately with very speedy delivery.
