AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

My AOC Q27G2U broke after just 1.5y of usage. Just a black screen and nothing showing up. Not even the UI itself. Support is telling me to switch outlets for the 4th time even after i told them it doesnt work. They wont even replace it or fix it. Very dissapointed in them, cheap parts that dont last and a terrible customer support

Poor Warranty Service

Purchased an AOC AG273QXP which seemed like a solid monitor on paper. I bought it mainly because I had wanted a G-sync compatible monitor with my GTX 1080. However the monitor flickered excessively during gaming, first time I returned it, they replaced the power supply, but it didn't solve the issue.

Second time I returned it, they said "no fault found."

Then third time I returned it, I attached a video of the fault occuring and described a consistent step by step on how to reproduce the error. They returned the monitor as "no fault found."

This monitor had been nothing but trouble for me since I purchased it, and I've now moved to Samsung which is a far superior monitor.

Not so great quality, support is even worse

I purchased the AOC U32G3X/BK monitor in July and unfortunately noticed too late that it had a backlight issue. As a result, I had to contact AOC support instead of returning it to the store. The initial support experience was great: they responded quickly, provided a free return label, confirmed the defect, and offered either a replacement or a refund. I opted for the refund, and that's when things went wrong.

I've been calling support every week since then, and each time they promise the refund will be processed that week, but nothing happens. No refund, no updates—just silence. When I call again, they assure me that I’ll receive the money the following week, but once again, nothing happens. This has been going on for almost two months now, and I have no idea how to resolve the situation.

Do not buy

Monitor suddenly died after around 2,5~3 years of light use.
Cheap components are used that do not have long run life.
Absolute Garbage

Totally toots brand

I bought curved monitor (CU34V5C/BK) 2023/02 and since I have had it it broke during this time. The power plug was loosing up and USB-C stop working (which was reason I buy it). So I thought there was no warranty and I took it to Retailer. Retailer (Webhallen) little farse with it over one and half month. I was also gaslit from AOC customer service for taking it to retailer.

Finally got replacement, which was refurbished(!!) checked that the screen works; screen goes on and usb-c charges.

When I got home and start to set it up and change the conrtrast/brightness, for my luck it has screen flickering only half of the screen I sent instantly email to AOC and informing the fault with video and they sent "agreement" I could get replacement and send it to service, but my original monitor was not sent to them.

So I had to contact Webhallen and ask them to send the monitor to AOC. After about over week of this I get closing email from AOC. I ask one more time to look the case. They sent me troubleshoot email. I told them I have done it but all the sudden this CS didn't consider the first troubleshoot I made and during this time I have waiting I have done also many other troubleshoot and the problem persist.

The CS is really rude just thinking about SLA and making sure customer is gaslit to think they are the problem. I have sent now 45 emails to AOC about this issue. 45 and only one ticket so there are no mixed info here to blame.

Customers who are thinking to buy this monitor, please dont, buy LG or Samsung or any other "normal" brand who cares when you have broken device. I never recommend this brand to anyone, if you get fault, you pay. I wasted 4990kr for this.

Poor design or manufacturing defect, warranty does not matter

Poor design and warranty does not matter at all
We attached AOC monitor to stand for more space on the table, almost 2 years it worked ok.
when yesterday we tried to move monitor on that stand, just by hand, it became broken like it was extremely, "untouchable" fragile
we contacted support and received answer that "Physical damages are not covered by warranty"
For sure it is poor design or even manufacturing defect,
so we will never consider AOC for our future life
Bad quality, bad support, warranty does not matter at all
By the way, email from support came from tpv-tech company
Keep away from both AOC and TPV

This monitor has been faulty since it was purchased in October 2023. The Company sent a new lead which did not solve the problem. I want this refunded and if they do not act we will get on to trading standards.
Case no. 04304688 today 15/4/2024
I have rejected the monitor and it has been sent back to Laptop Direct, Today AOC consumer care has emailed me to give them an update. I never wish to hear this Companies name again. i have reported them via Citizens Advice to Trading Standards.
This Company is terrible, I would never buy one of their products again. They failed to help me with the faulty monitor, they did not want to know. I reported them and will not have any further communications with them,

Purchased an AOC monitor to use with my laptop as the laptop screen is small and difficult for me to see. I’ve had many monitors over the years that I’ve used in this way. The price point on this was $99 through Staples so I went ahead and ordered it and picked it up. I plugged it in and attached the HDMI cable like I do with any monitor I’ve ever had, and there was no power. I kept thinking I was doing something wrong so I tried several times connecting and disconnecting to make sure the connections were correct. The screen never came on, and there was zero power. Bottom line, when a product doesn’t work right out of the box I’m pretty much done. Unfortunately, I didn’t read other reviews until after I purchased and the monitor did not work. It doesn’t seem like these monitors are very reliable, and I returned it and will not be purchasing another.

I have two AOC monitors

I have two AOC monitors. That perform okay and yet are totally useless. Why? Because you cannot adjust the height of the monitor in respect to your eyes.
This is tantamount to a form of warfare against the monitor user. They are forced to hunch and adopt an ergonomically very bad posture.
This problem should not be a problem at all. A monitor should be designed to be ergonomically watchable and game playable from a seated position at a desk. I can only guess that the design fault is in some way deliberate. So unless you figure on orthopaedic treatment being a big issue in your life then buy a monitor with a height adjustable stand.

Ghosting/Black Smearing

ALL AOS MONITERS:

They all got crazy bad Ghosting/BlackSmearing that means if a black box is moving around in ur game and the background is white then it has a trail behind it of a Red'ish black color that is REALLY annoying especially since its gaming moniters and when u look around theres just trails of black and red everywhere and it makes it feel super blurry.

Reason why this problem is here:
The AOS moniters pixels dont change fast enough so when a pixel needs to change from Black to white it takes too long even with the 1ms refresh rate the 1ms refresh rate just means it knows what it needs to do every 1ms but its just too slow to do it. I would say it has a ghosting of 100 Pixels or 80ms.

DO NOT BUY

Poor Quality - Top Heavy

I purchased a 32” Curved AOC monitor for my sons birthday, on the 5th day of owning it, it toppled over due to the stand not being suitable to keep the “top heavy” monitor stable. The monitor screen did not even fall hard and it’s now completely unusable and Curry’s won’t do anything about it. The product as I said did not have a suitable stand and should be able to take a minor “topple”, in my opinion not fit for purpose and poor quality as zero durability. Do not buy these they are very poor quality and the stands are rubbish. Thanks AOC for ruining my sons birthday and part of his Christmas as I cannot afford another.

Terrible Support, Bad Warranty, Defective Products

I bought 6 high-end AOC monitors for my trading set-up and already having issues with lines across two inches of the top, a faulty monitor. They want me to spend money/time packing and shipping it back to them for repair instead of sending me a replacement, also interrupts my workflow and need to remove a single monitor from a 6 monitor array.

Never buy from AOC, go with Dell who has quality customer care and can see from the reviews on here how terrible of a company AOC is

brought a monitor on amazon on the the 1st sept 2023 and it arrived with a faulty display port have tried to RMA it 3 times in the last month being told it would be picked up the following day just to hear nothing more the picture quality on the monitor is exceptionally poor for a 2k monitor with bad ghosting when scrolling or while watching videos screen tearing while gaming is nauseating even at half the price i paid it would still not be worth it.
I cant return it to amazon as the return date passed while i was being messed about by AOC customer services, this company and their products are rubbish this is probably thew worst monitor i have ever seen and that includes the CRT monitors i had in the 90's
